I had a excellent experience with Serena from Property Angel, as she was the only under several involved property agents, that was smart and stubborn enough to unfreeze a wanted apartment in Georgetown, that was taken off the market already from the seller, as he rented it out recently. Plus she was helping me during the negotiations. Good work, that's what I need as a buyer.

I recently bought a small property through Cheryl of Penang Property Angel. She was discreet, attentive and understood exactly what I wanted. She found the right property for me within a day. At my age, I am not able to get bank financing. Cheryl, together with her co-agent Jennifer (also with Penang Property Angel) managed to get extended payment terms from the vendor and the deal was completed smoothly within six months. Cheryl introduced me to a firm of lawyers whose service was also impeccable. Finally, she offered to help me set up the utilities accounts after I had taken possession of the place which are also now up and running. In short, Cheryl's service from start to finish was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending her to those looking to buy or sell properties in Penang.

I found Penang Property Angel, in particular Serena and Susan, to be extremely professional in their approach to real estate. Having previously been in the business in a managerial position for many years this is the most positive experience I have had in Penang. If they are advertising a listing then you can guarantee that property is available. Too often in Penang agents will advertise properties but when you enquire they 'have just gone' but they have others, only more expensive. They are always available, even when on holiday overseas, and appreciate that time is of the essence. To save a lot of chasing your tail with untrustworthy agents I highly recommend you make contact with Serena or Susan to find you a property.

I can totally recommend Jeanette. I have moved a few times within Malaysia and she has been the most attentive and thorough agent I have had.

I cannot recommend PGPA highly enough. Having grown up in Penang many years ago, I recently wanted to find a place in Georgetown to go home to. This was by no means easy because I live overseas. First off, I want to say up front that I will highly recommend Penang Property Angels to anyone. Here’s why…

In May ’23 my wife and I relocated to Penang for a work assignment. We needed to find a long-term rental and are particular about the quality of the rental property. This is our 2nd assignment in Penang so we had some idea of what to expect and had past experiences with property agents. Honestly, our expectations were low due to previous experiences with (3) different agents. It seemed those agents wanted to show us properties that fit their desired commission rather than our needs. With that in mind, we asked around and we were referred to PGPA by a local friend. We could tell after meeting them that they really care about their clients. Serena and Jeanette far exceeded expectations. They were fantastic to work with. They took the time to understand our needs and desires for location, finishings, and type of property. They were responsive and attentive. Jeanette spent the better part of a week with my wife viewing properties while I was working. All properties were within the parameters provided and were a potential fit. By the end of the week, Jeanette and my wife were able to short list the properties for me and we settled on a unit within 1 day of viewing. They helped negotiate a good rental contract and were instrumental in helping us get set up in Penang.

Jeanette and Serena also went above and beyond in helping us get approval to have our pet as well as some very important documentation required by the Malaysian animal import authorities. Not bringing our pet was not an option. Our pet is a medical alert/service animal for my wife so this would have been a deal breaker for us. Without Jeanette and Serena this would not have been possible.

They continue to assist and contact us regularly to see how things are going and if we need any help. They have shown that they value their clients and build relationships with them. Our previous agents for our 1st assignment ghosted us once the fees were paid. We didn’t hear from them again until there were some major issues with an unscrupulous landlord. Even then I did not feel that they fought for us.

Serena and Jeanette proved that PGPA is a cut above the rest. We cannot thank them enough for all the help they have provided and continue to provide. We will refer them to anyone needing their services without hesitation.

Property Agent (Rachel) from property Angel have excellent service, although I have made the payment before getting the house keys, she was always willing to support whenever I need. If there must be a negative comment, might be if the appointment time can be flexible a bit, but don’t get me wrong, I think she tried her very best to suit my time most of the time.
