[Halal food] I recommend the kacang phool with either garlic or garlic cheese bread. They have chicken or beef. It's like Mexican chilli. It's not spicy unless you add in the chilli. It's RM13. Can be quite filling.
Another one that I would recommend is tomato based meat sauce (forgot the name). It comes with multi grain bread.
The kaya butter toast can be a bit dry. Not enough kaya or butter.

New definition of delicious Roasted Bread (Roti Bakar) with butter and curry + beans (kacang) stew with sunnyside egg.

Meal is enough for 2 for breakfast and affordable pricing in local hawker complex settings.

Many variations of Roti Bakar available.

Again, another hidden gem in this relatively unknown food court in Tanjong Tokong.

The friendly owner Nasirah (who's fluent in English and Malay) explained how we should go about savouring our order of Garlic Cheese Toast Kacang Phool Set.

The next time I host friends from other states, Nazzeeras' will be one of the spots not to miss bringing them.

We ordered from Nazzeera's through a food delivery service. Putting a review out here to express how much we really enjoyed the chicken roti bakar kacang phool butter toast. The dish was well prepared and tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed the nuanced flavours of the sauce with the chicken, spices and beans with the egg on top. The accompanying bread was well buttered and it was lovely to dunk it in the sauce for a tasty bite. Good portion sizes made sure we were properly filled.
Importantly, the food came very well packed and this showed that Nazzeera's cared. Just a pity that their full menu is not available through the delivery service. But for now we're all happy with this wonderful invitation to eat well 😊 😋.

Nazzeera Breakfast: A Delicious Revelation in Penang's Food Courts

Nazzeera might be nestled within a food court, but don't let that fool you! This hidden gem serves up some of the most mouthwatering breakfast I've ever had in Penang. We visited on a Saturday morning and while there was a 20-minute wait for our food, it was absolutely worth the anticipation.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the kacang phool set. I'll admit, I wasn't the biggest fan of this kacang phool before, but Nazzeera completely changed my mind.

And the roti bakar? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and slathered with just the right amount of kaya butter. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors.

The location in the food court might not be the most glamorous, but parking was a breeze even on a busy Saturday morning. Plus, the convenience of paying via QR code or cash is always a plus.

Overall, Nazzeera was a breakfast revelation. The food was fantastic, the service was friendly, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I can't wait to return on my next Penang trip and explore more of their delicious menu. If you're looking for a hidden gem that serves up authentic Penang breakfast flavors, Nazzeera is the place to be!

Tried this place for brunch today. Surprised that the toast with garlic, butter and cheese with something like beef chili taste good. The toast was thick and filling.

Price is fair equal to portion.

Ordered Nescafé tarik Kurang manis - good.

Parking - no issues .

Can go and try it! If I’m around the area I don’t mind going again.

Cheers!

One of my favorite weekend breakfast spots. The owner is very kind and the shop has some special dishes such as the roti bakar with beans (kacang) which is hard to find elsewhere.

Had lunch here twice, high quality food. The meal I had both times (once with chicken, once with beef, both great but the beef won me over), Kacang Phool, as I was told by the owner, is a perfect meal-a bowl of healthy protein with just the right amount of carb on the side. Similar to American chili, but with bright Indian flavours, creamy fava beans instead of kidney beans, and a beautifully cooked sunny side up egg on top. Stir it all up and dunk chunks of the perfectly grilled bread right in.

All ingredients are chosen with care, almost everything is homemade, and the bread does not have any added sugar.

Nazzeera’s is hard to see from the road so look carefully because you don’t want to miss it :)

She serves the most amazing kacang phool dishes in Penang! I haven’t tried her fajitas and pasta dishes but according to her, she made the sauces from scratch. Do try Teh Tarik cake. All halal food in a really nice ambiance. Will go again.

Nazzeera's roti bakar kacang phool is not for everyone, but if you're looking to try a uniquely Penang dish then this is for you.

Kacang phool is basically a peanut sauce (kind of like that you'll fine in Satay) with minced meat, Indian onions, green chilis and some lime squeezed in. It's not gourmet food and you shouldn't be expecting that going on. It's a simple Penangite dish. Paired with their "made from scratch" bread (which is soft and fluffy) as well as a fried egg and you'll be having a quick bite as you start your day in the morning or a late night snack.

We also had the chicken melt sandwich which has a similar flavour profile as the kacang phool with some added melted cheese.

The kacang phool set (kacang phool, fried egg, bread) was rm8 (we chose the chicken). The melted cheese sandwich was rm14.

The owner was also very nice and helpful. We'd visit again for a quick bite in the future. But would probably just order one dish instead of both the kacang phool and the sandwich. Was a bit of an overkill.

Again, it might not be to everyone's taste but it's worth trying at least once on your travels to Penang.

This is a lovely small restaurant in the Penang science cluster. We enjoyed a couple of wonderful Malay dishes. Very friendly staff and great service.

The beef kacang pool with garlic bread was really good. I love the explosion of flavours in my mouth. You can really tell that Nazzeera use great quality ingredients to prepare the dishes. If you are lucky, Nazzeera might be at the cafe and she will entertain you. I have always liked her, she's a friendly person. See you next time :)
