Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre

I had the most wonderful time at the Rafa Nadal Tennis center, both on and off court. It was a little birthday trip for myself, and the people here definitely made me feel part of a family. From everyone in the front desk: Carona, Adrianna, Emma, to my amazing coach Alex, they’ve so kindly helped arranged the schedule so I can play most tennis while I was there.

My coach Alex is simply incredible. He’s so skillful, patient, kind, and highly effective in his teaching technique. I am a beginner, and I did 5 days of private training with Alex. He provided many fun and efficient exercises to correct my posture, and is always so encouraging. I definitely feel a huge difference and have more confidence than before when I left the center.

Lastly, they prepared me a birthday surprise. That’s how much they really care about every student and guest.

I already miss everyone and the warm Cancun. The gorgeous sunset from the court, and friendship I built in such a short period of time. Can’t wait to see you soon, and many thanks for this memorable experience.

It was such an awesome training experience, totally exceeded my wife’s and my expectations!

We truly appreciate our coaches Jorge and Alex for being patient with us to adjust our moves and help us improve. We originally booked the 3-day group lesson for more advanced players, but after a quick assessment, Alex kindly suggested us to go with the 1:2 beginner level training to learn more at the same cost. It turned out to be the best tennis training experience we ever had.

The other staff at the center are super great too. Very responsive and clear communication, made the end to end experience very straightforward.

The facility was well maintained and you can even see Nadal and other sports stars’ gear and championship cups at the museum too.

We can’t wait to come back for another training already

I booked a private lesson here today. Absolutely love it from the beautiful facility to the staffs. Jores was a very fun and super helpful coach. He gave me good tips on improving my tennis elbow, check out my racquet and found a defect that could potentially causing the pain. We worked on utilizing more lower body and tweaking my techniques. I’m a 4.5 USTA player and thoroughly enjoyed my lesson here. I’ll be back here for many more sessions the next time I’m in Cancun. Highly recommend it for all levels.

I’m currently writing this review from my hotel room at the on-site resort (TRS Coral), and this review is a bit overdue.

My wife and I have stayed at the resort and visited the tennis center 3 times in the past 6 months. We’ve participated in both group and private tennis lessons, and everyone here (front desk ladies, coaching staff, etc.) is friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant.

Special shout out to Alex (head pro) and Arturo 👍🏻.

A friend and I went to the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre in Cancun. We participated in the “Total Tennis” clinic for four days (two hours each day). Our amazing coaches include Oswaldo, Monica, Arturo and Alex. Over the four days we did countless drills covering every shot there is. In almost all cases, each player would hit anywhere from four to eight balls. The instruction was top notch—the coaches all care deeply about helping participants improve their game. They were all very personable and invested in the classes. We both walked away with great tips and insight on how to improve.

Separately, I took three lessons with Jorge—each one was prior to a clinic. Jorge also is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the game and provided me with tips I hadn’t heard before. He even swapped racquets with me to get a sense of how I was hitting and recommended a different string tension for consideration.

A big shout out to Emma at the front desk—again, super personable and helpful, greeting us each day we arrived.

Five stars to the staff at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre. We'll definitely return!!!

This is a great place. The museum is a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lessons are not cheap but I opted for the Adult Premium lessons which are 1:1 with a private coach for hours a day; pretty intense and I learned a lot as a beginner. I was lucky to be instructed by Alex and Hector. Experiencing clay courts was also fantastic and I enjoyed it a lot.

Total is an excellent experience and program for intermediate and above layers. Alex and his staff: Alex, Arturo, Monica, and Osvaldo were great !!!! They really cared about improving your technique, court position, and strategy. They gave every player personal attention and ways to improve.

A totally friendly and engaging experience with all the pros.

An overall great experience and we definitely will be coming back

My experience was 1st class. Emma at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. Tennis courts red clay and well maintained. The museum type displays on the 2nd floor were so interesting and historic. Everything about the tennis center was exactly the way Rafa would have wanted it to be. Arturo ,one of the professionals ,was a great pleasure to hit with. A very fine player. Hopefully I will be back in the future.

We had an INCREDIBLE 2 hour tennis clinic with Arturo— he was an AMAZING coach! Super patient, helpful coaching, and a positive presence!! The facility is super cool & the staff are very friendly! We got iced lattes to go & overall had a 10/10 experience. The clinic was around $75 USD (per person) and worth every penny!

The facility is amazing! But what makes this a must for all tennis players is the quality of the instruction. Hector "Mexican AquaMan" was a terrific coach with an easy way about him and a super relatable and easy stye of teaching. We plan to go again.

Amazing experience, amazing place. I took three one on one classes with Monica - 2h per day - and it was awesome. She is an incredible tennis player and even better teacher. I learned a lot. Highly recommend the academy and Monica classes. Looking forward to practicing my new technique back home.

My son, 12 yr old, was training at tennis center for four consecutive days with the Jr Premium tennis program and private lessons. He was working with Coach Olek and Coach Monika, who pushed his limit to the next level. The lessons were high intensity and he was grateful for the experience he had on the clay court. The front desk staff, especially Carola, were very helpful and tried to accommodate everything that we need. We will definitely be returning.

Just spent one day over there. The museum, unfortunately, was closed and under construction. Bought tshort with the logo tennis center. Browsered around tennis courts. Buetifull sport place. 🎾 Loved the atmosphere of great tennis player Raf Nadal. Will definitely come again for a longer trip.

Really neat place. The museum was nice. I'm not a big sports person but my husband loved it.

Great experience. My son took a few lessons from Alexander Praderas (tennis director) and they were some of the best tennis lessons ever. His knowledge and passion for the sport was great. The facility was awesome as well. Please check it out!

Amazing tennis facilities!

Had a wonderful one-hour drill as a 4.0 player. Coach Jorge Flores diagnosed my forehand problem accurately and gave best advice and drills.

Museum is smaller but good enough, because it's one of the few chances for us to get so close to all the Grand Slam trophies (Nadal only has two Australia Open so far)!

Front desk staff are very nice and patient. Response to all my questions in email quickly.

My husband and I attended the Total Tennis for 3 days. The Coaches: Osvaldo, Alex and Monica were outstanding. Excellent drills and workouts. They helped improve our technique and gave importance on footwork with individual attention. A totally friendly and engaging experience with all the pros.

The front desk staff (Carola, Emma) were super nice, knowledgeable and answered our many questions and helped with reservations.
