I LOVE THIS PLACE. The customer service is off the charts and I'm so mad I can't remember our servers name but he was absolutely the best and was his sidekick. The food is solidly good, but my favorite part is that I can go to the front and see the turtle pool, go take a short walk after dinner (before dinner and drinks) right there on the beach, there is a trampoline and it really feels like paradise when you can look up at the moon while your eating dinner. The vibe is so relaxed and yet super fun. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

What an amazing place! Absolutely beautiful! Great prices, location and service. There was an issue with my meal, and I was brought another without a problem. What an incredible and kind service. Hats off to Lorenzo! Amazing waiter!

Right by the water, with hammocks, sofas, a huge deck, and a playground for the kids. Definitely would recommend, and would definitely go back next time.

For the whale shark adventure package we took, this place " Flamingos" was our starting point as well as the ending point. We took the respective tours speed boat from here.We stayed at this place for 30min to change our clothes, the washrooms were not at all clean. Very pathetic condition. Continental breakfast buffet was served which was 2/5.
The outside shop here sells whale Sharks logo souvenirs and other Cancun souvenirs mostly clothes for both men and women. Because we had our tour operator we were allowed to pay later if we bought anything from this small store. We were told we will get a discount from our tour operator of the whale shark, but it was all false. At the end we ended up paying a little expensive for just 2 tshirts which had whale shark logos etc. So make sure to ask the final price before making any decision. The actual price is $25 USD
Note: US dollars are accepted here instead of Mexico Pesos. They will make sure you pay in US dollars rather than Pesos may be because we were tourists.

Great customers service! Loved the location next to the beach. Lively atmosphere with great music. Kid-friendly. Food was very artistic and unique.

We came for vacation, geovenny, Jose, Luis and Abel were awesome! Great service and if you’re in the mood for seafood this is the best spot ever. The fried fish was so tasty.

Israel was so nice and attentive. Remembered everything! The garlic sauce red snapper with veggies and rice was just perfect! Thank you Israel!

Flamingos was fun. The service was good and they had live entertainment for much of my visit.
I love guacamole, but i wasn't impressed. It seemed bland. However, i recognize it came to the table at the same time as the ceviche, so it is highly possible the ceviche flavors overpowered it. The ceviche was fantastic!
I wish I had taken a pic of the lobster selection process. They brought out a full live lobster and a tail to choose from. They were quite large. I chose the tail.
I didn't realize how large the tail itself was until I got it on my plate. On the bill, it said 2400 grams. Much more than I had thought. I was soooo full.
About the lobster. The texture and cooking were very well done. However, they recommended the wood grilling, so I did. I was not a fan as it gave the lobster too strong of a campfire flavor. That detracted from the sweetness and other flavors, so I personally don't recommend that method

When I say we had a grand ole time! We had the best time here! We found this place on accident and there was only one other customer in the restaurant (usually a red flag but it wasn’t this time). We had 3 waiters. Who really treated us like Royalty! The food was AMAZING!!!! The ambience was straight out of a movie right on the beach! 10/10 recommend the Maracuya or mango Mezcal. My sister picked her own fish and then they cooked the exact fish she picked for her!

From the moment I walked up to the hostess (Angie) I felt welcomed. The ambiance, location and people were very welcoming and pleasant. I took my mom here for a dinner on her birthday and enjoyed it very very much. The grilled lobster and octopus were perfect with all the condiments. And the fried fish was also very good. I highly recommend it to anyone passing or staying in the area even if you're at an all inclusive take time out to go and visit a local restaurant with warm people and excellent local food.

Flamingos is the very best restaurant in the Playa Mujeres/Punta Sam area. A must visit.

Love this place! The restaurant features open air dining as well as dining on the beach. After you enjoy a deliciously fresh and satisfying meal you can even hang out on the hammocks or beach beds they have set up. This is a perfect place for every occasion. Casual but elegant dining, perfect to bring a date, some friends and even the family! They have a nice area for the kids to stay occupied while you wait, dine or hang out on the beach. Seafood is the way to go at this restaurant as it is as fresh as can be! The staff is amazing in every way and will definitely be willing to help if you have any questions or needs.

I just got back from the restaurant. Really impressed with the charm of this place. Food was excellently tasty. Ordered seafood soup and seafood tacos. Great and friendly staff. The hostess called for a taxi for me to get back to the hotel. Highly recommend.

Such a wonderful experience! Amazing seafood and drinks, superb service, and an overall beautiful ambience. Seating right on the beach with a beautiful view and hammocks to hang out in after. I had the crab bites, hibiscus Margaritas, and coconut shrimp and it was excellent.

Impeccable service, delicious food of the freshest quality and ambience to die for.....what more can you ask? This restaurant is a beautiful location and I enjoyed every moment. They had had live music and outdoor dining under fairy lights directly on the beach. It seemed to be a healthy mix of local and visitors as well.

Excellent find as we explored outside of Cancun. Atmosphere was perfect, good music, relaxing and unhurried. The food was good-nothing spectacular but combine with the location, the views and the general atmosphere this was the perfect Cancun of our imaginations. Thank you, just rein in the overzealous motorbike cops on the road please.

This places was not only breathtaking but also delicious!!! I had several mouthgasms at this place... Every bite was better than the next... just by writing this review and posting the pictures my mouth is getting all watery... THIS PLACE IS A MUST every time I am in Cancun!

If you are willing to make your way past the bric-a-brac of shops and eateries around the ferry terminal at the the Puerto Juarez taking tourists out to Isla Mujares, you will be rewarded with some of the best seafood Cancun has on offer - with the added bonus of being served up in a romantic beach side setting. The menu is well rounded, but focuses on what they do best.. fresh, local seafood. The prices are reasonable for what you get, the service attentive and spot on. No rush, take your time, and enjoy the food and the view. Managers and staff were very friendly and informative. The wait staff mostly speaks Spanish, but there was always someone there to interpret if you get stuck. Good selection of wine (not extensive), drinks and non-alcoholic beverages. The BEST Pulpo (Octopus) I have had in a long long time. So, make your way out of the Hotel Zone, which often has pretty average food, and take a little romantic trip to the other side.
