Would 12/10 recommend for anyone looking for places off the beaten path. We loved the natural feel of this place and had such a relaxing afternoon. Other places in the area felt so commercialized, so this was a breath of fresh air. The staff spoke perfect English, but was willing to let me practice my Spanish. We stopped here on our way to Tulum, and will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.

Near Playa del Carmen, just 30 minutes by local transportation. Clean, well-managed cenote, a tremendous place to spend time with family.

This place was awesome. Crowded but our favorite cenote we visited! They have changing stalls and a small food stand at the top of the cenote. Fairly cheap to enter but does get very crowded.

I did not take part in an official tour, but you can pay to enter and access everything. It's beautiful!

Funnest place to go swimming. Cool ledge to jump off into the water. There is a rope going across the Cenote that you can hang on to.

Beautiful place but very popular, lots of people. There is life vest for rent and food to buy. Area to jump in but stairs for others. Must pay in pesos. Overall very nice place.

Very nice cenote with lots of fish to look at while snorkelling, also saw a couple turtles and ducks swimming around under water, very cool! Got there early and was not many people but started to fill around lunch time. Platform to jump off and scuba diving available if your into those. 200 pesos to get in plus a bit more to rent life jackets. Bring your own food and drinks, didn’t see any for sale. Basic bathrooms available. No sunscreen or lotions allowed like other cenotes so bring swim shirts etc. Definitely will want water shoes. Overall a great experience.

The extra tour to go in the cave is definitely worth it. Wish my gopro didn't get wet when i first jumped in. That experience in that cave with all those bats was breathtaking.

Very close to the highway and playa/Tulum with a variety of different open cenotes. Better eco practices than most. To note: you cannot bring or purchase beer or alcohol and food options are limited

We came early and were the first to jump in, it was great! Water is so refreshing and it's awesome that there are two right next to each other. What's nice is they have restroom facilities and lockers which is nice for thinks you don't want to leave laying out.

There's a tour that will guide you through the tunnel that connects the two but because of time constraints we just did the basic entrance.

Heads up, they only take cash for tickets and gear rental. If you rent a snorkel or fins they ask for a deposit of 1000 pesos which you get back when you return it. Fortunately we had enough in us but our group of 4 had to pool resources to cover the deposits. We got it all back, but would have been nice to know ahead of time as there's nowhere to grab cash.

Definitely visit Cenote Azul. It’s pristine and beautiful and surrounded by nature. It’s about 30 mins from Playa del Carmen. We paid $400 one way for our cab. Go early to avoid the crazy crowds. It gets slippery so be aware while you walk around the Cenote. Great spots to dive off. It’s $300 total to get in for 2 people. They’ll require you to shower prior to getting in. And it’s about $40 to rent life jackets. Remember don’t wear sunscreen or sun lotions cause that’ll ruin the integrity of the Cenote and kill the fish. Food music and drinks are not allowed. Only good vibes! The water is cold! And as soon as you get in, the little fish will start nibbling on your body. It’s a cool and enjoyable experience. Enjoy your visit!
