What a fantastic dentist. Dr. Jorge Armenta was willing to accommodate my schedule as I was getting close to leaving for Canada. His technique is second to none. I have never encountered a dentist who could give painless needles, until I met him. I had broken a tooth and had to have 2 crowns. I had a root canal done by one of his colleagues. He doesn’t recommend dental work unless it’s really necessary. Whatever your dental needs are he has a wealth of talented colleagues available to help. He was very attentive and laid back. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. His prices were fair. The office was very clean and the staff were very helpful.

My girlfriend and I both got a cleaning done by Dr. Cesar Casas and definitely recommend booking here! He was incredibly friendly, thorough, professional, and spoke great English (which made things easier for us, obviously). We shopped around a bit for prices beforehand and found that the prices here were a fantastic deal, too, so there really are not any compromises. Super easy recommendation!

Dr. Jorge Armenta, superb dentist, excellent bedside manner. We are both Canadians and travel frequently to differet parts of the world and are always in need of a reliable, trustworthy and caring dental surgen. Dr. Jorge is perfect with his command of English and Spanish. We had a routine teeth cleaning which he did personally and it was a painfree enjoyable and one of our better dental experiences in life. Highly recommend his services and his rates. He clinic is in a quaint older home near Walmart in Playa del Carmen and he has been well trained and in practice for over 17 years. Hey Everyone! I’ve been a patient at Playa Dentist for the past 6 years. My wife and I visit Playa del Carmen every year in December. The first year I replaced one older porcelain crown with a much better zirconium crown - the dentist at Playa Dentist was very skilled! Once I got the first one replaced, I just kept coming back every year - now I have no more metal in my mouth!! In fact, this year my wife is also starting to replace all of her old crowns with new zirconium crowns. The cost of this work back in the states would’ve been cost prohibitive, so we’re both happy we can enjoy beautiful Playa del Carmen and get our dentistry done at the same time with quality and affordable prices! If you read this review and decide to look into visiting Playa Dentist, tell them Happy referred you!!!

My first time visiting Playa Dentist as a new patient. I called for a teeth cleaning, they had an appointment two days later at 10am when they opened. I was the only patient there at this time. Office is very clean, everyone wearing masks and lots of antibacterial gel and hand sanitizer. Dr. Jorge spoke perfect English, and was very gentle with my ultrasonic cleaning.

I was very happy to find such a great dentist in Playa del Carmen! I highly recommend them!

Dr. Cesar was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke great English. He is the kind of dentist you want as your regular dentist. I did a filling, and cleaning of my permanent lower retainer. He could have upsold me to take the retainer out and do a clear one, but he didn't. Great price too. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I visited them several times to fix a couple of issues I had with an old crown and a bridge problem. I am very satisfied with the work they did and the overall experience. Dr. Rebecca fixed a specific problem that several dentists in Europe had told me that it cannot be fixed without a microsurgery. The support and the communications were also great. I'm very happy I found them online and I'll keep returning whenever I need a dentist. Excellent doctors!

I absolutely love Dr.Jorge!!! I am a retired RN and have been a dental phobic all my life and he is so gentle, kind, and just a great dentist. The BEST dentist I have ever gone to. His office has great sterile techiques and provides incredible care. I see him every year and actually look forward to my appointments!!! Thanks Dr. Jorge for being such a wonderful competent dentist!!!!!

Both Dr. Jorge and Dr. Cesar are excellent doctors. I recently got my wisdom teeth out with Dr. Cesar and cannot be more grateful because the whole thing was such a breeze - Cesar made me feel at home and explained to me each step which I really appreciated ☺ would definitely recommend.

Dr. Jorge Armenta is a skilled and friendly Dentist who speaks perfect English. I recently planned a vacation in Playa Del Carmen around my dental work. Months in advance, Dr. Armenta corresponded with me personally by email, answering my questions and scheduling my appointments. I sent xrays from my dentist in the states so he could give me an estimate for the work needed. (2 bridges, 6 crowns) The first appointment was a long one! He was gentle and patient. He answered my questions thoroughly. I paid a small fee to have the bridge work rushed, and in less than a week my work was complete.

It's now 2 weeks later and I couldn't be happier. This past week I had my teeth cleaned at my US dentist. The hygenist was very enthusiastic about the work that I had done, and the price!! (the savings more than paid for my vacation) My dentist begrudging said it looked good.

If highly recommend Dr. Armenta and will return to him for any dental work that I need in the future!

March, 2020. Dr. Jorge Armenta, d.d.s is an excellent dentist. I had some dental work done. I honestly had no pain at all. Dr. Jorge Armenta emailed me and asked about any pain. He did this twice. I was under a time pressure and he worked with me.
His fees are very fair. I will use him again. I can not say enough good about Dr. Jorge Armenta. I recommend him. A+

While on vacation in Playa one of my fillings fell out. I couldnt wait till I returned to rhe USA since we were here for a month. I searched online and found Dr. Amenta. He is very professional and the visit was pain free.The office is clean and the staff are curteous. I found him initially on Trip Advisor where he had many great reviews. I recommend him to anyone wHo needs dental work in a professional office with good prices.

We highly recommend Dr. Jorge Armenta. My husband and I both had a cleaning and check up. He is knowledgeable and kind. Unlike the USA, the doctor himself did the cleaning.

Extremely professional, friendly, painless cleaning for 700 pesos. Zero waiting and was completed in 45 minutes! Best trip to the dentist ever and will be back in six months.

Amazing experience here! I had a filling that was really bugging me..they got me in last minute and were able to fix my problem within an hour. The wait was short, the staff were kind and attentive. All around amazing experience! I will be going back again!
