Villa del Palmar Cancun Luxury Beach Resort & Spa

Hotel was spectacular, service top notch. Elite/owners still don't have a voice. We were told our all inclusive pass was extended 24 hrs. To find out the day that it was erroneously NOT extended. Elite office would not correct the issue. Left very disappointed after a great stay.
Been a Diamond member with Royalton for years. This would have never happened with them. Their elite members are valued.

Our family visited recently for five nights and had an excellent time. The grounds, beach, pools are all immaculate. Between the beach and the pools it was hard to decide where to spend our time. The kids loved the inflatable play space in the ocean and there was always an activity available. Service was exceptional. The rooms while a little dated are clean, comfortable and have great views. I would argue even more comfortable than the newer resort next door. We tried a new restaurant every night and found all of them to be great. Lunch and breakfast are a little lacking but totally serviceable and the kids loved every meal. They do have you sign for all-inclusive which I preferred because it was easier to tip. The spa is excellent and a quiet oasis. We skipped the timeshare pitch and never felt too much pressure on that front. Highly recommend for any family.

LOVE THIS RESORT!! The entire place was great. The staff were always eager to help and very polite. We had the 1 bedroom ocean view room. Jetted tub, beautiful decor, and great layout. We are at all the restaurants and never had a bad meal. The choices and the quality of the food was amazing, and that's coming from a picky eater. Well worth the trip and every penny. We could go on and on. We are already planning our next trip back.

We came down for our wedding with 25 family members, and the staff at this resort are top tier. They all made sure we had a great experience! Andy Manriques, Enrique, Nain from Zamas, Alejandro in the legends bar, Oliver and Andres at breakfast truly made it special every morning, and Gabriel at the Pool made our trip the best. If you need help booking adventures, David is more than happy to make sure you have the trip of your dreams! We are so excited about coming back next year and seeing so many amazing faces. By far, it is our favorite place to visit when we come to Cancun. You can not beat the hospitality at this resort. We could not have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding!! Also, Daniel, the manager at the front desk, did a really good job taking care of us, and we really appreciate him!

The resort is awesome, beach is beautiful and the staff are amazing. This resort is starting to become my home away from home and we'll be coming back in a few months. They also have activities that are great for all ages. I would recommend Villa Del Palmar to anyone looking for a great resort and spa in Cancun where they can relax, have fun, explore the island across from the beach and it's not swamped with crowds of people everywhere.

We recently stayed at this resort for our baby moon, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. The food was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options that catered to every palate. We indulged in the spa services, and it was a truly rejuvenating experience. Overall, our stay was nothing short of perfect, and we can't wait to return in the future!

One of our favourite resorts in Mexico, the location is incredible - across from Isla Mujeres. Last time we visited was in 2017, and we weren't sure what to expect in 2023 after the pandemic. We were not disappointed - the resort and grounds were well maintained, rooms had been renovated and new restaurants added. Best part, the high caliber of service remained the same especially with Edgar, front desk manager, and his team including Gabriela. Edgar was kind, informative and attentive from check-in to check-out. He truly went above and beyond and made our visit to Villa del Palmar unforgettable! We will be back, thanks again to Edgar and team.

This resort is away from the crowds of the hotel zone and downtown. It has a nice small beach. The rooms are a nice size for 2. We got a 1bdrm which for 2 people was very big. I could work while my wife slept in the bedroom. The staff are polite, professional and very friendly. The pools and the grounds are excellent. The food is excellent and for an all inclusive, exceptional.

From my first emai to the resort to ask questions and book activities and service dealing with Menphis from the concierge desk took care of everything answered all the questions I had and made suggestions for things his service was fantastic. The resort is very clean and all the staff where friendly,helpful and went out of there way to make sure you were well cared for. Food and service is over the top arguably best resort food I've experienced. I would highly recommend you book your vacation with this resort and your transportation to and from the resort with them. The transport service was amazing as well and with direct to resort and airport no stopping anywhere else it made the whole experience from start to finish a truly amazing memory my family will never forget. A big thank you to Nancy the (greeter) from legends restaurant who managed to find a table for my family and I every time over 8 of them. And to Ignacio(Nacho) who served us in the restaurant everyone thank you for the amazing service and great care and attention you showed to my kids.

First, the facility is exceptional all by itself. The added benefit that would make this a 5-star review even if the facility wasn’t exceptional are the facts that the staff was absolutely incredible and the food.. the food was unbelievably good. We chose to use the all-inclusive plan and we are glad that we did. Do your homework before you come. You’ll need to pre-book reservations for evening dinning, even 2 weeks out prime times were limited at certain restaurants. I think you’d have a miserable time coming here thinking you’d be able to walk into any restaurant when you wanted. Tips are included in the all-inclusive plan, but a $20 USD for great service at the pool or bar goes a long ways. Again, the staff were simply phenomenal. The location is a bit off the normal ‘hotel row’ so the beach, while nice, wasn’t expansive. It was clean and usable and we enjoyed it, especially the beach bar area. Lots and lots of families at this resort, there are private adult only areas if you are bothered by families enjoying themselves. We chose a 2 room ocean view suite and it was perfect, there’s even in room laundry facilities if you need to use one. Truly a vacation that we will measure all future trips from.

We had a week at Villa del Palmar with a huge group of 16 total, 6 kids and 10 adults. The experience was wonderful overall, the rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. The food at each of the restaurants was delish although the service at some was maybe a tad bit slow. The beach was cleaned almost daily from the seaweed and you really do not touch any unless you go deep into the water. We went to Isla Mujeres for a day and that was very fun riding gold carts around and getting lunch! The rule of placing your towel on a chair to reserve it was kind of silly as some guests do so at 6 am and then you can see that no one sits in those chairs all day long. Other than those few minor things that I have mentioned- the trip was incredible and we would stay here again.

Just left a 5 night trip with my 3 kids and I will say this is the best place we have stayed. The food was amazing and they had tons of options for the kids as well. There a multiple restaurants to go to for dinner that you don’t need a reservation for but would help with any wait times but most didn’t have a line. There is a buffet for breakfast and dinner every night that’s amazing and the best food out of all the restaurants called Caprichos. The beach was amazing and the pools all vary from cooler to warm and even hot tubs. Plenty of activities close by and you can take the ferry right up the beach to Isla for a day of shopping. I would recommend the speed boats next to the ferry for a faster travel time of maybe 10 min to get to the island. The staff here all spoke English and were amazing. The beds were so comfortable and I’m lucky with the bedding and this exceeded my expectations on comfort and cleanliness. The kids were busy all day and the drinks were also amazing! We will be coming back every time

My hubby and I loved staying here to celebrate his birthday. The rooms were clean, food was good (just remember to do reservations at restaurants in advance so you can secure your bookings for those that require - we got booked at everything we wanted yay). We enjoyed the entertainment as well, and such a friendly helpful staff. Would definitely go back. And it was very convenient that a lot of our excursion transportation could pick us up as well as get shuttled to the airport efficiently (booked through Travelocity). Then, when we booked an excursion there through Mexico Travel Solutions, it was convenient to walk across the street to take public transportation.

Aside from the location, my family of four absolutely LOVED everything about this resort!
From the food, the setting, how clean it is, how pleasant the ALL the staff were, the pools, the Zumba classes…..

An exceptional experience for anyone who is looking to escape noise of the downtown party crowd. A great venue for family and couples looking to enjoy fine dining and quiet beaches.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Villa del Palmar Cancun. Our one bedroom suite was well appointed and very comfortable. The all-inclusive plan was great with delicious food and well made cocktails. A particular favorite on the trip was the Italian restaurant, get the basil mousse for dessert it was amazing. The staff at the beach area particularly Raul and Eric provided excellent and friendly service. If you are looking for a spot to enjoy relaxation, food, drink and chilled out vibes this is the spot.

Absolute luxury. Excellent service. Beautiful and spacious rooms. Love the private beach. Location is isolated so if you want to leave the resort, there is no where to go. Designed very well for families with children.

Fantastic resort for families. We had a beautiful one bedroom ocean view and it was worth paying for the upgrade. The resort is very clean and the room as well. The whole staff is very attentive and helpful ( waiters / housekeeping, bellmen and kids club )
The food was delicious. We tried all the restaurants except Legends. We even got lucky with a seafood night at Capricio’s their buffet dinner location ( octopus and seafood paella …).
Our favorite restaurant was Zama for the open air atmosphere overlooking the pool and the ocean in the distance. The food was excellent.
The resort is next to the ferry to go to isla mujeres.
Very good value if you book all inclusive otherwise it will be very pricey. The supermarket next to the resort is way overpriced ( aloe gel for almost $30!)

Absolutely wonderful all inclusive family vacation. Gorgeous 1 bedroom suite! Make sure you book your dinner reservations weeks in advance! We booked easily in advance (2 weeks early) on the hotel website and had wonderful dinners daily! Staff were attentative and friendly!
