Great place, but it's under construction

Most everything is just mediocre. The food, the service, the location, the rooms, the staff.
Started off in a nice room but with broken AC. They moved us to a room with no view whatsoever. Our balcony actually leads out to giant propane tanks and it’s right next to a service stairwell so there is constant banging and noise all night long. The AC works so I guess that’s a plus.
We spent the first 2 days without masks and then all of a sudden they decided they were mandatory on the third day we are here.
The beach is completely eroded with tons of rocks and seaweed so that you can’t even get across the beach in front of the hotel.
There’s never enough seats at the pool so we weren’t able to enjoy it at all.
The spa experience was good for me with Gierrmo but my husband had a very weak woman name Raquel that kept walking out of the room during his massage.
Most of the food we had was blah.
Berto was really great and even remembered our names which was impressive.
I will edit to say the pool-show Saturday night was exceptional. Great job to the performers, I’m actually adding a star to my review because of how amazing they did!
