Plaza Playacar

Beautiful mini arcade with loads of market stalls containing a variety of souvenirs. The venders are not pushy at making you buy anything, they simply let you take your time and browse at your own pace.

I have found that the prices of the souvenirs are of a similar price as in the main town, Playa Del Carmen. Most of the market stalls contain the same gifts/souvenirs, so it’s just a case of finding the right price

The mall is nice. Bathrooms are on the second floor. There isn't much air conditioning available in the mall.

You will find the best people in Playa in this market. They are all kind and welcoming, they respect you and treat you like family. Our favourite souvenirs are the handmade bracelets ◡̈

It was really nice having a plaza so close to the resort. There was a pharmacy, dentist, restaurant, bars, and shops for souvenirs/trinkets. The shops with prices listed were cheaper than trying to bargain and guessing the price. We found the souvenirs to be cheaper on 5th Avenue.

We love this place, nice stores and shops, merchants, a starbucks, tourism tours, a nice free toilet, bistro and bar. Prices of course bit high overall but of you bater there is allways some good deals for both, the merchant and you. Everything is very clean and people are helpful and repectful. Not so agressive merchants like in other places we ve been.

This plaza is for artesanal items. They sale a lot of very cool stuff and also the have a Pharmacy, a dental clinic and medical clinic plus laboratory on the second floor. Is located in a gated community and parking is valet next to the plaza and is free. Beautiful place to visit and shop.

Haggle, haggle, haggle .. lots of trinkets, art work, and general supplies. It's right across the street from the Riu and Viva Wyndham Maya.

Stayed at the Riu palace Riviera Maya..these shops are just a stone's throw away...lovely gift shops etc. Had an amazing coffe here .❤

They rooms were extra clean and very good.. Pool very Nice and clean....easy walking to everything ..the service was excellent and very fast. The food was delicious and plenty. The Beach was Very clean.. Many lounges to choice from.. I recommend you try it out and see for y..

Very safe. Just watch out for the shop owners as they try to overcharge you. You just gotta be a good negotiator. But I felt safe the entire time there.

Fun!!!!!!!! Honeymooners honeymooners lol!!! Yes be ready to hear that from the people wanting to sell you things... The people are fun and if you know a little bit of Spanish use it to show them you are making an effort, they'll treat you a lot better... Talk with them about their culture and customs they are more than eager and willing to share.. We sure learned a lot...
