This place is awesome! The staff are so friendly, and the food was amazing! And what a beautiful beach! The entertainment staff is top notch. Special shout out to Aurea, Bere, Rene, and Diego. There’s enough space to relax, but also have fun too. The shows at night were so fun! This is a great, small resort.

Everything was great, everything was good. The food,the room,etc. My only doubt was the service when we arrived, the rooms were not prepared and they kept pushing the time of when they would be ready. Besides from that overall everything else was a great experience. Especially the chef, Jorge Ordóñez, his food was absolutely delicious, he was very considerate about my wife's gluten allergy. He gave her many different options, and each one of them she enjoyed very much. One of the waiters, Humberto, was amazing. He had an amazing sense of humor, made us feel very welcomed, and had the most amazing service. I would highly recommend this place.

I am pleasantly surprised how nice this place is. All the staff including reception are kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, the bed on the slightly soft side but not too much. It's a smaller resort which I like. The food has been good so far.. although I have only been to the buffets. The beach is excellent and the pools are nice. The resort is peaceful and quiet even though there are some children here enjoying themselves.

I only have a few slight criticisms.. the TVs are older and don't support Netflix or other apps. There is however cable TV which is alright.

The AC is somewhat underpowered.. it's perfectly fine for me now.. but I could see it being a problem at the peak of the summer.

The hotel is a little older but it seems like it's been maintained well.

Overall I think this is a great resort for its cost and recommend it. I will definitely come back again.

Wonderful time with my family at Allegro Playacar. Resort is a nice size not too big. Rooms were basic but clean and nicely presented. Good overall selection with regards to the food offerings. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with providing information about the local area. Not far from the center of Playa del Carmen walked in 15-20 min and you can walk along the beach front or through Playacar along the street, felt very safe. Beach area was beautiful( there was no seaweed when we visited) Good entertainment at night for the kids. Would definitely go back when in Playa del Carmen again.

I LOVEDDD this hotel ! My first time going & I will be going every year ! Huge variety of food ( delicious) ( I gained weight because of this trip haha ! ) amazing people & service. The only thing is that when we got to our room , it wasn’t really ready. The bathroom had a little smell & the shower was dirty . But we just turned on the water & it went away . Other than that it deserves 5 stars .

Of the hotels I have visited, it continues to be mine and my family's favorite, the attention of the staff is incomparable to other hotels, exquisite food, one of the best beaches in Mexico, the gastronomy very varied and very good, we will see you next vacation Allegro Playacar.

Johnny Pacheco is great and really fun. We enjoyed his helpful and friendly services as DJ at the first club party. He’s a great dancer and have a beautiful smile. Thank you for making our time at Allegro Playacar so fun.

The Italian restaurant was excellent! The service and food was amazing. We will remember our experience and will definitely come again on our next visit here.

We went here for a family vacation/ reunion and had an amazing time! The staff are incredibly attentive and make efforts to go above and beyond to ensure every detail of your stay is exceptional! The members club staff go above and beyond anything I've ever experienced for service here in the states! You defined won't be disappointed if you book your stay with these amazing people! They get to know you while you're there and even greet you by name! Ask week they would say "hello miss Audra, how are you doing today?" It was amazing to feel like a party of the family!

I recently visited it for the second time with my family, and we had a wonderful time, it was a wonderful unforgettable vacation, the food was delicious, we felt safe both inside and outside in the surroundings of the hotel, beautiful beach, in general the hotel amenities were excellent, the shows and excellent service and attention, from the people who make the beds to the manager, all super attentive and courteous, to mention some like René, Ricardo, Don Victor, and what can we say about Mr. Camejo, his preparation and exceptional professionalism, thank you Allegro Playacar

Italian Restaurant: Alejandra Casteñada was our hostess for the evening and she was an absolute delight. Isaac and Pedro were our waiters and they were very kind and helpful with the menu. The food itself was absolutely delicious! The quality and the quantity were definitely up to par! I would definitely come back again! Muchas gracias!

Italian restaurant was delicious. Daniel, Alejranda, Candiao and the whole staff were amazing. Visited the evening of April 1st, 2024. Highly recommend

This resort is beautiful and the staff treated us like family for mine and my husband’s week long stay. The resort sits on the beach- and the rooms are villas. They had family activities daily followed by live entertainment at night. The Mexican Restaurant was very good with such a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The grounds are clean and well maintained, food was awesome, and staff were truly the most kind people ever.

The Italian sit down meal was delicious, the service was top notch. I ordered a dish that came with seafood, my fault for the misreading of the menu, and they promptly got me a different dish. (I'm allergic) thank you, gracias!!

The Italian Restaurant was amazing. There were 10 of us in our group. We all had something different and the food was fabulous. Alejandra , David, Zack and Ricardo were very attentive and were wonderful. Very accommodating.

Next, the wonderful food. Loved the first club snacks of beef, skewers, shrimp, calamari, and sandwiches. The buffet lunches, dinners, and in between all great! Love the selections, as there is something for everyone.

This hotel is in the Playacar Complex, and within walking distance, or short cab ride to Playa Del Carmen, also a short walk across the street to a nice market. Great hotel in a beautiful beachside location.

Everything was nice overall. But what stand out the most for me was; they have the nicest employees ever. Breakfast, snack bar, all the cocktail bars, dinner, lobby, housekeeping and management…. They are all so friendly, kind and professional. I wish them all the best with their endeavours.
