Oh wow, where do I begin… Great selection of pastries, as someone who travelled through Italy quite frequently I can say that I agree with a previous reviewer in that this place truly takes you to Italy. Freshly ground coffee, amazing tiramisu, hearty donuts and dozens of bite sized little pieces of heaven just waiting to turn your regular day into a great one! All served by friendly but not overwhelming staff in a beautifully designed and comfortable interior. Not to be forgotten, Dulcis also offers savoury dishes with tacos, gnocchi and the best chilaquiles I’ve had locally. I’m so very happy that I’ve found this place and I’m sure you will be too!

Discovered this place last year. On occasion we come for lunch which is always delicious. But lately we been going for their cheesecakes, I usually stop by and order one for end of the day. No one makes a cheesecake as good as this place. Not even back home. I also recommend his pastries and he makes one serious espresso.

One of the best pastelería in Playa del Carmen with an Italian background.
Pastries are soft, airy and generously filled.
Try the pistachio bignè, and the chocolate creme calzone. The even have arancine with ragu or tomato and mozzarella. Very good parmigiana di melanzane and homemade lasagna.
It is a new place great for breakfast lunch or dinner, which will certainly become very popular.

Came across this jem while out strolling one night. Truly amazing, the whole experience. Coffee and treats hit the spot. We have been back twice and plan on another visit before we end our trip in Play del Carmen.

This place takes me straight back to Italy! Excellent coffee and the deserts are fantastic and fresh. The lime cheesecake and the tiramisu were particular favorites. Ambience feels very authentic Italian. I'll be back for sure.

Highly recommend this bakery! They were able to make a personalized birthday cake for my boyfriend while we were vacationing in Playa. It was ready the next day and was delicious!

We encountered the place while craving coffee, and we were blessed by delicious sweets, Italian style caffe and a very friendly environment.

Fantastic pastries, the best lasagna and yummy arancini - so much to chose from. And they take special orders too if you need birthday cake or loads of donuts, or just more crema pastelera on your baba 😍 don’t miss this sweet spot!

If you love Sabrina's, you'll love Dulcis too. They're only a block away on CTM and 25th Ave. The miniature desserts are 10 pesos cheaper than Sabrina's and the ambience is a bit nicer with a roomier space to chill and hang out.
