They have a breakfast combo of eggs (al gusto), fruit, and coffee for 70 pesos. We both got the huevos con chorizo, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. That said, they do allow smoking, and, while the 4 tables are outdoors, if you’re particularly sensitive to smoke, check the patrons around you and give it a serious think about eating here.

If you’re looking for an authentic place this is it. I hate tourist restaurants without flavors and this one has a chef that cooks with passion and amazing flavors. Everything is home made on the spot and it’s just delicious and properly spicy if you ask for it.

They’re also the nicest people. Don’t hesitate eat here!

Guajira is off the beaten track and only known by local people. Their staff are amazing and extremely kind. If you are by passing by treat yourself to a local experience!

Very good Omelette and they also have sometimes a Natural chamomile tea. Also the Liquados are very good and all People working there are Kind to everybody. I really recommend this place!

I ordered the chilaquiles con pollo and agua de frutas (piña) and it was possibly the best breakfast I’ve had since living in Mexico for 5 months. Just to note that it’s cash only, in case you were hoping to pay by card.

I was drawn to this cafe by the fragrant smell of grilled meat as I passed by. After stepping in I received one of the warmest welcome's by Salvador. They have a limited menu and mainly serve Tacos and Gringas for dinner with choices of Meat as well as Veggies. Salva took time to explain about each dish.
I went for their Al Pastor Tacos and I did not dissappoint. Easily one of the best tacos in the Playa Del Carmen.
Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who is visiting the Playa area :)

Perfect lunch. Delicious baguette and best fajitas I’ve tasted. My kids ate everything,too! Cheap and very good quality.

Took my family here for some non-touristy, local flavor…all of our food was delicious! Super kind ladies who cooked and served and were patient with our poquito espanol. Check it out and support these hidden gems :)

Forget the tourist traps and come here instead. The owners were the sweetest, most genuine people you'd ever meet. This is the place if you want real authentic Mexican food, and everything is made with care and attention to flavours. The coffee was also just to die for, especially the moka!

This is by far the best place you can choose to have proper local Mexican food. The juices, chilaquiles and mexican eggs are fantastic and the owners, Mike Coti and Lucia are super warming and friendly. We came 10 times in 15 days during our trip and we're gonna definitely miss this place a lot
