Probably my best scuba diving experience so far! I chose SCUBA 10 based on its stellar Google reviews, and the team there is truly outstanding. They provided detailed advice on the available options, taking their time to ensure quality service. Unlike other places where you might feel rushed, at SCUBA 10, you receive thorough and considerate treatment. I specifically wanted to dive with the bull sharks that visit Playa del Carmen annually, and we had an in-depth discussion about it. Everything was meticulously reviewed with me. Eventually, I was assigned Daniel as my dive instructor, who did a fantastic job. I usually struggle with pain during the descent because of the pressure, which affects my concentration. We had discussed this issue beforehand, and Daniel took extra time to help me, showing remarkable patience without putting any pressure on me, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks to him, I managed to take some really cool shots underwater. For anyone in doubt, head to SCUBA 10—the team is fantastic, and the people are wonderful. I had the absolute best experience at Scuba10! My friend and I got our open water certification here a couple weeks ago and we had so much fun! Our instructors Syria and Miguel were so patient and helpful when teaching us. David was also great and helped us get all our amazing pictures from the dives. Can’t wait to go back and go on more dives with this incredible team!

Had an awesome experience at this place! Dives were beautiful, staff were very knowledgeable. My dive instructor Miguel made sure to throughly explain things so I never missed important information. David taught me how to set up my own equipment and I felt like a pro after! Definitely recommend!

Can highly recommend Scuba10. I did 8 dives here, including Cenotes and Bull Sharks. Everything went really smooth, very friendly people and whole setup felt professional and safe. I really liked that in most dives we were a small group (2-4) and everything was more relaxed and personal. I would dive with them again anytime.

I did my Open Water Certification here the last days and it was definitely the right choice! The whole team is so friendly and smiley all the time, I really loved the atmosphere there 🌞 A special thanks to my diving instructor Miguel, I felt very safe during all my dives with him! If you consider a diving school for your certification, take this one. They are professional, have good equipment, good instructors and always a good mood!

My partner and I did our open water diver course here with Irene. What a brilliant teacher! All of the instructors were very professional and really helped to make the course content understandable, clear and really fun at the same time. It was my partners first time diving and she said that she felt supported throughout the whole experience. The diving sites were also amazing! Great visibility, colourful coral, tons of beautiful tropical fish, rays, eels and even some pistol shrimp. We can’t wait to come back for some more unforgettable experiences. Thank you Irene!

Visited this shop during my vacation to PDC to get my Open Water Dive Certification and could not be happier with the entire process. They guided my right at the start with zero pressure to sign-up for anything and we’re more interested in sharing their own passion for the sport.

I had an unforgettable time my instructors Irene & Miguel, as well as David and Geraldo and the entire team were very welcoming and professional. The entire training course was best possible experience and my first four dives with them were life changing.

I can not recommended this shop and team more, they are professional and totally focused on giving you the best possible experience while offering high quality equipment and are genuinely warm and wonderful people. Hope to dive with them again in the future.

Had the best experience getting our open water license at Scuba10! All members of staff were so lovely and accommodating. A special shout-out goes to Irene our instructor - felt very safe and comfortable in her guidance, and I now feel like a very confident diver! Couldn’t recommend more.

I was with Scuba10 for a week, doing my Open Water Certificate and then Advanced Adventure program afterwords, and I loved every minute of it!
Everyone in the dive shop is so friendly and welcoming. This was so nice as a solo traveller, and I cannot express my gratitude enough.
All instructors are professional yet personal. Special thanks to Miguel, Syria, Carlos and Drew, who have helped me accomplish my certificate, perfect bouyancy and cenote diving. And with this I would like to add that the rest of the staff are just as lovely and competent.
I cannot recommend this place enough if you want to learn to dive or just want to have a perfect setting for your next diving experience.

We recently went diving with Irene (one of Scuba 10's experienced instructors) to Tortugas Reef and other points in Playa del Carmen open sea water. We had a great time and always felt safe and in security with her despite the strong currents we faced.
On top of that she kindly offered to take us underwater pics and shared them with us after the dive!

Besides that, the dive center is very well organised and everything works as a clockwork. They take their time to clarify any questions, are very professional and responsive by whatsapp and send you booking by email helping you not to forget.
Highly recommend it to any experienced or new divers!

My Experience was great, I had not dived in 6 years, Irene and her team gave me a quick refresher and I was ready to go, diving in this are is as good as it gets, Irene was amazing, she guided me the whole time making sure that I was comfortable and enjoying the experience, couldn’t ask for more, and on top of that, I got to see a bull shark, big turtles, rays and squids.
I highly recommend diving with Scuba10, and specially with Irene, the experience couldn’t be better!

Me and my gf walked around the entire Playa del Carmen and visited nearly every scuba diving school in order to choose the best school for the Open Water Diver course. We chose this one almost immediately after talking to Irene - the dive master, patient, honest, knowledgeable and funny woman! And I’m very happy we did because Scuba10 didn't only certified us but made us feel like a part of one big family, they made this a terrific adventure! 😍

We've never tried scuba diving before and our instructors Irene and Syria were again very patient and knowledgeable, answered all my million questions, made us feel safe by explaining equipement, different situations and procedures. They generously took time to make sure we understood everything and felt confident and comfortable underwater. Scuba10 is the passion driven people, from briefings before the dive to cleaning the equipment after the dive, extremely professional and at the same time very kind and fun people, you truly feel like among friends and family there.

Loved the entire day SCUBA10 team organised for us! My partner and I are beginner divers and Olinka - our instructor was super supportive, patient and a great teacher! The entire team was fun and super friendly! Irene was super supportive and managed the situation well when I freak out in the ocean, she calmed me down and made my dive seem super easy!
We loved our dives and are now want to do it again! I highly recommend this place!

The best team you could ask for!

I tried to get my open water certification in London years ago and I was completely rushed through the process, my struggles were swept under the rug, all to try to get me to complete my course. I had to give up midway through.

I decided to give diving a second chance
and opted to try Scuba10 after it was heavily recommended by close friends. Safe to say they were absolutely right.

I was guided through every step of the way and made feel safe. The issue I had with one of the skills in London was taken seriously by the instructors and I was trained extensively and attentively till it became second nature.

I went from feeling anxious just thinking about the skill to being able to perform it effortlessly.

The team at Scuba10 actually cares about your security and enjoyment and they will take care of you from start to end.

I have had the opportunity to meet and work to some extent with every instructor in the shop and they’re all extremely knowledgeable, helpful and passionate about what they do.

We had a great experience with this dive shop! A huge shout out to Patricia Dauzon and Julio Salas who guided our cenote dives! They were very informative about the Mayan lands and cenotes, and worked hard to set up and carry my dive gear. I was experiencing dizziness at the halocline diving the Pit, so decided to abort my dive. They were comforting and helpful and ascended with me and then took my husband back down to finish their dives. A good Mexican food lunch was provided afterward. We dove 2 reef dives w/ Scuba 10 as well. Our dive guide Irene (who has logged over 10,000 dives) was great, as well as the captain and boat crew. They also provide newer dive gear for those that need to rent, which is nice. The cost is included with the dives. Thanks Scuba 10!

Some divingbuddy's gave me the tip to dive with Scuba10, because of the smaller groups and can give you the total package.

Since my arrival I have visited the shop and spoke with the owner (Geraldo), from the start a great feeling with this shop and staff. (Have visited a divingschool around the hotel, but didn't felt right.)

The idea was to do a couple of dives, but was sold after my first dive with Carlos @Chun Zumbul deep and Pargo cave. Back in the shop booked some more
Together with Carlos I have visited 2 Cenotes "The Pit" (it's a must see) and "Dos Ojes". Carlos is a great Instructor and friend, he showed me all the cool stuff.

My other instructor was Itai, also a great instructor and we dove @Moc che deep, also great spots to dive

I have to give the folks at Scuba10 a big 5 star review. At the beginning of my dive I was very anxious as the fear of the unknown took over. Drew took extra time to help me overcome those feelings early in the trip. After a few minutes, some encouragement, and a couple deep breaths, I settled in and was able to enjoy the every minute of a new underwater world! Shoutout to David, Carlos, Alan, and my new friend "The Little Stone" for an amazing day! I will be completing my open water certification next week.

If you have any interest in diving, this is the place for you! 10/10 on the enjoyment scale.
