Cafeteria ROCO'S

We came across this place next to our hotel on the first day and it was SO GOOD we came back every day for the rest of our vacation! We tried a variety of food menu items, all delicious. The coffee was always made well and tasted great. They also have a variety of snacks/bottled drinks that are great to take om the go before a long day of exploring, and super fair pricing! The seating area both indoors and outdoors was very cute and cozy. Beautiful and clean. The women who took our orders were very kind, friendly, and attentive, and had our coffee order memorized after 2 days. I wish I could pack this place up and take it home with me!!

The owner is very, very friendly, speaks english well and is really helpful, which honestly is kind of rare in Playa del Carmen. The menu is quite big for this little establishment, but the meals feel inherently homely. They have a big smoothie and juice menu and as far as I have tried em, they're really good. I'd definately recommend this quaint little restaurant to anybody

Absolutely our most favourite cafe in Playa del Carmen. American grande-size coffee: 5 stars, the waffles: 6 out 5 stars, and the chorizo omelette: 7/5 stars! Value for the money.

Getting there, you think your going into a rough neighborhood . But its actually infront of a 5 star resort. AND THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD, SERVICE IS SO SWEET, FAMILY OWNED ! SO YOU GET THAT HOME COOKED MEAL EXPERIENCE

One of the best places for having breakfast or a meal in between in Playa! I literally come here every day. Great selection of high quality, tasty dishes at a reasonable price (which is rare on 5av) and really lovely people with a can-do attitude working here. Even late at night at around 10pm they'll still prep you a tasty Caprese Baguette with a smile. And should you order something extra, they are transparent about any surcharges...unlike so many other places in playa, where you suddenly end up with an additional 50mx or so on your bill just for a spoonful of extra granola. Wifi is also good. Thanks for keeping me alive with all the delicious food and your kind attitude over the last few months!

Very special and quite hidden place! Very friendly and smiling staff, very good prices for amazing coffee, fresh juice, sandwich and dessert.

Everything looks exactly the same as on the menu, and taste even better! Can imagine myself to spend there the whole day and working from here.

Hope that more people will discover this place, this place deserves it!

Excellent food and service! The ice matcha latte was yummy, the burritos were delicious, the cappuccino was so cute! Will definitely come back!

Best Frappe and breakfast burrito I had in years. Fresh food and service was excellent. The owner spoke English and very friendly. I am looking forward to visiting again soon.

This is a hidden gem. Very good prices, real food (great omelettes), quality coffee with selection of alternative milks, natural juices, coconut water, and little snacks to go. Friendly staff, understanding of my broken Spanish :)

This place is a little gem!

Saw it on my morning run & needed a place to work from with decent internet for the morning.

The wifi here is GREAT, I work in software and it managed to handle me running different platforms.

They have alternative milks & do great sized coffee! (Coffee is VERY strong- they also have Decaf)

I am currently eating vegan & they did a modified corn tortilla for me which was so sweet of them.

Nice & quiet with great ventilation in this heat.

This will be my local for the next couple of weeks for working from in the mornings :)

Sweet Coffee shop with a great menu for breakfast and lunch. Nice cappuccino and friendly staff in nice and quite neighbor hood area. Some vegetarian options available, we highly recommend the fresh vegetarian sandwiches. We came there several times.

Rarely rating a place but Roco's can be highly recommended. Delicious freshly prepared food, tasty coffee, very friendly waiters and many locals around to get their breakfast here too.

Lovely little cafe. The lady who runs it speaks English, and she makes delicious coffee and breakfasts. We came here twice since our hotel was close, and enjoyed everything we had. The chorizo in particular was delicious, which we had both in a breakfast burrito as well as on molletes.

Small open-air café located in a very quiet area in colosio. I had coffee and breakfast several times here. The staff is friendly and quick to serve orders. Fast wifi. The prices are very reasonable. Good coffee and food. Relaxing and at-home atmosphere.

Diana's cafe is a nice place to relax and very close to the beach entrance of Playa 88. There's a lot of options on her menu and combo meals. She's always so nice. I recommend the smoothies and any of the breakfasts with chipotle sauce.

Best chilaquiles here! I’m serious. I tried chilaquiles probably everywhere in Playa, but in Roco’s cafe just perfect. But. You should order VERDE with chicken, double avocado + double cheese. Then you will enjoy.

Best moka I've had in years! Dishes are really great as well. And they have the nicest servers. 5 stars all around!
