Casa Gem B&B

We had a lovely night here. Ranks among one of the most welcoming and friendly receptions I've had during our trip in Mexico. Fluently english, safe area, and good accessibility to restaurants nearby (we had a rental). Good breakfast. Lovely rooms, clean and spacious. Hotelcat is always a plus.

Everything ok, very nice structure and friendly family staff (Itzal and Seraphine), good breakfast and parking availability.
The room was big, clean and comfortable.
Close enough to the center (but we had a car).
Very good value of the money for what you get.

Not related to the structure per se, but if you are looking for a day trip to Cozumel, just go there and book something on the spot (there is a lot of companies and availability), booking in advance via the B&B structure is not really a bargain (costs more than booking on the spot).

This place is a hidden Gem.
The owners are such great people, friendly and relax. They have love for what they are doing. We are staying for 5 days and we love it. Good fresh breakfast, highspeed internet, very clean rooms, free bikes. We will come back for sure.

The Host is a really nice guy, we felt at home.

Super nice hosts! You get two free shuttle rides a day which is convenient and helps you save money! They do make you breakfast for free every morning which is a bonus! The room was cleaned daily, huge, smelled good and was beautiful!!! Best of all the room came with Netflix! There is free WiFi and there is a pool and 3 apartments in total at the B&B.

Really amazing staff, truly helpful with fluent English. Not intrusive, but always here to help you out with no matter what!
You get discount to the many tours and places throw them, just ask!
Room is also ok, nothing special but really nice and clean, room service everyday.
Would definitely recommend!

Lovely B&B near Playa Del Carmen. Seraphim & Itzal are there to help you with anything you need. The room is clean, spacious, quiet, everything was perfect.
The breakfasts are delicious.
We stayed only one night - and this is the only negative comment I'd make :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Gem. The room, food, attention and cleaning was superb. It is close to Xcaret, Xenses, Río Secreto and Tulum is 45 minutes away. Itzel would drop me off at the transportation stop and I would get the "colectivo" to move around. Also, there is a mini mall close by called Plaza Maya and I exchanged dollars there at a great price in comparison to downtown playa del carmen. Also, there is a soriana in that mini mall, which is a super market and I would buy drinks and snacks to take with me to the parks. The only cons is the location, it is 10 mins away in car from downtown. Colectivo, taxi or a rental car would do. I typically do like a hotel close to downtown where I can walk back to my hotel at night and this hotel is out in a residential area, but the service I've received was outstanding and I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Byliśmy tutaj tylko jedną noc ale pokoje czyste i bardzo ładne. Blisko parku explor. Parking przed domem monitorowany, przesympatyczna właścicielka, bardzo pomocna. Pyszne śniadania. Dostaliśmy nawet opaskę żeby odebrać prezent w parku explor. Naprawdę bardzo fajne miejsce.

Bonito lugar con excelentes anfitriones que te hacen sentir en casa, cuidados y atendidos.
Nos hospedamos en la Suite (2o piso), estaba limpia, amplia, cómoda y no nos hizo falta absolutamente nada. Camas cómodas, ambiente tranquilo y una paz exquisita. Disfrutamos salir y vacacionar en Playa del Carmen y sus alrededores, pero también el día de descanso en sus instalaciones fue ideal.
Me encantó mucho sus atenciones, en realidad sientes el esmero y hospitalidad y profesionalismo.
Definitivamente sin duda regreso, solo un detalle, es buena ubicación si traes auto, es seguro.

Si vous cherchez un hôtel au calme avec des très bons hôtes , c'est celui là qu'il faut réserver.
Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel avec un petit déjeuner excellent prépare quand nous le souhaitions. Piscine a disposition. Chambre propre. Les hôtes sont présent et disponible quand vous avez besoin. Merci encore pour ce séjour.

Nous avons passé un moment très agréable dans ce logement géré par une famille adorable. Ils sont aux petits soins, font attention aux détails et son très arrangeants. En plus de cela, c'est sympa de discuter avec eux. Le rapport qualité/prix est indéniable, et la chambre est très bien. Soignée, propre, grande. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, et la piscine nettoyée quotidiennement. Ils offrent un service de transport gratuit qui est très arrangeant. Si vous voulez de ma tranquilité à la playa del Carmen, c'est ici qu'il faut aller ! 😋
