We absolutely loved our stay here. The pool was amazing, the beach was perfect and breathtaking, and the grounds were so well taken care of! We ate at one of the 2 onsite restaurants for dinner, and while it was a bit pricey, it was 100% worth it. It was delicious and the service was fantastic.

Stayed here with the fam on Xmas. Loved the resort. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Two restaurants on site and a mini mart. Excellent beach - better than a few neighboring resorts. Full kitchen and well equipped.

Beautiful place. The room was amazing, and I loved the beach. It is just a little far out of town and costs you 300 pesos for a taxi ride.

Spent a week in the beautiful 2 bedroom penthouse with view of the lush garden and the sea. The complex is stunning with endless crystal clear pools and sof sandy beach. 2 nicely situated restaurants add to the convenience along with a gym, spa and tennis courts. Convenience store is on site. Very secure and safe. Will definitely return for my next holiday in the sun and sand.

Our entire week stay felt very safe and everything was well kept and clean. Both the room and pool was amazing and the staff was always very helpful.

Spent 10 days there, it was nice and relaxing. There were not many people and was really quiet most of the time. The breakfast restaurant was a little slow but it was ok. 5 mins walking to the beach, it is in an excellent location

Booked a 7 day stay here with friends and family and it's been spectacular! The restaurant on-site is open from 1pm-10PM, the staff was fantastic and the food was amazing.

Our room, 4 bedroom apartment was fantastic and clean. We did have some issues but maintenance was able to come quickly and resolve the problem.

The pool is huge and loved that it was able to fit everyone's need, for kids and adults. Depth max is about 4.5 feet.

We have come here three times now with our two young children. I love it and find it perfect for our family. The suites are large, there are two separate bedrooms and a kitchen. We always get a ground floor room which has a shallow pool off the balcony. The kids play here while we enjoy our coffee in the morning. The big pool is fantastic and kept immaculate. There are bridges, in the water lounge chairs, a shallow area for kids and pool bar which is only open sometimes. There is a park which was recently updated with two sets of swings- kids love it. The best part of this place is it feels almost empty whenever we’re here (mid feb). No fighting for lounge chairs, no getting up early to reserve a cabana, no searching for your kids among the swarms of other kids in the pool. But if you’re looking for a scene and swim up bar this is not the place for you.
The beach is nice, there is always seaweed on it each time we’ve been. We’ve always been able to get a lounge chair and umbrellas and security helps you get set up.
We always go to the Beach club for lunch, the food is great and it’s just a short walk up the beach. This year we got massages from Rosie, also at the beach club. They were fantastic.

We stayed June 2021, I was unsure what to expect, it’s more so a luxury apartment, with owned and rented condos. They are intermingled and many being updated. It feels like a secured apartment/condo complex with tennis, incredible pools, affordable mini market, delicious restaurant and private beach.

Security: we felt very safe, there are two security areas you go through, first one for the area, then the second for the resort. The resort itself felt like a safe neighborhood, we never felt unsafe.

Beach and pool: beautiful! The beach had some seaweed, it’s not their fault- they removed as much as possible. It was completely swimmable, our family enjoyed it. Our friends stayed at a further hotel, their beach was feet deep of the seaweed. Ours had areas of a few inches, but nothing too bad. The man was attentive and made sure our chairs and umbrellas were set up quickly. He educated the kids about the wild iguanas, he was kind and attentive. The pool is wonderful! It’s huge, has area for adults sitting around, has the tiled laying areas, has bridges to have some complete shade, ares the kids are jumping and playing plenty of areas to find your place. They have a hot tub in the pool area as well. The restaurant and bathrooms overlook the pool area too. There are smaller pool areas on the connecting walkways with hammocks hanging.

Restaurant: incredible servers. Food was great, we ate most every meal there and didn’t get tired of it. Prices were great. They had fresh non alcoholic and alcoholic daiquiris and margaritas. Domestic and American choices for beer. Bottled water, filtered ice and just amazing service!

The condo: wow. It was very nice. The buildings are attached, but separate in the sense each one had a nice tiled indoor stairway and elevator. We were on the ground floor. We had a private outdoor hot tub- never used it. It’s an oversized jetted bath tub. The private pool is roughly a foot deep, the kids loved it and it was pretty to look at. It’s not connected to swim to other areas, they cleaned it daily. There is a hammock, the kids loved it!

The kitchen/living room was beautiful. The big sectional couch, smart tv you could sign into Netflix etc. The kitchen has Bosch appliances, nice pans, dishes and flatware. Large table and 8 chairs. Two bedrooms, three bathrooms. The 1st bathroom is similar to a utility bathroom, we didn’t use it. The other two were attached to the bedrooms. The kids shared a full size bed and twin bed in their room, it overlooked the parking lot and has a patio door and small balcony. The closet space was quite large and they enjoyed having their own space.

The master was large. The attached bathroom has two sinks, enclosed toilet and enclosed shower. Water pressure was great, very nice and hot water. The closet is walk in with beautiful built ins. The safe is in the closet as well. I can see how people would want to live here, my understanding is you can rent them furnished for long stays as well. The king bed was harder than we are used of, definitely not a tempur pedic. I prefer more pillows and blankets, I’m guessing most people wouldn’t notice. Each room and area has its own thermostat. The master has a sliding door to the patio as well as the living room. The patio is covered. Beware, it’s Mexico, they have spiders, iguanas and other “bugs” we are not used of. The condo is very clean and nice, but it’s still a tropical area and those little critters do exist.

Overall, it was a very nice stay, we would come back to stay again. There are children who live here, homeschooled with a tutor. Plenty of Mexico residents vacationing there as well as Americans who live there now.

Very peaceful. Great views and beautiful beach with a bar and service next to ocean. We will definitely return. Big value in this place .

The condo was very nice and spacious! It was three bedroom with 3 1/2 half baths. It was perfect for me and my friends. It had all the accommodations that a house would have. The view was very pretty. The pool is huge and it was just a short walk to the beach. Natalia was wonderful!! She was willing to help book any tours or adventures and booked our transportation for us. I would recommend this property to anyone!!

Stayed here for vacation and it was a great stay. The suite we had was very spacious and had 3 rooms. Master room had a walk in closet and 2 sinks. Backdoor axcess to your own pool and hot tub. Beach just couple mins away its a private beach. Good place to stay and affordable.

Great location right on the beach...wake up to the lapping waves and exotic bird calls! Mareazul was a fantastic, safe, relaxing location to getaway for a week.

This condo is great! The beach is is beautiful and not crowded. There are actually 3 beds here. The guest room has a double bed plus a twin bed. The master bedroom has a queen bed. There are two televisions. A smart TV in the Living room and another TV in the master bedroom. We were able to get Netflix on the living room tv but not in the master bedroom. The kitchen is great! We asked Marco for new pans to cook with since the Teflon was peeling off the ones in the kitchen and he brought them immediately. There is also a full size washer and dryer that works great! The patio is huge! I felt at home here, it is very safe. You must drive through two gates to get to the apartment, so a very secure environment. Close to everything if you have a bicycle which you can rent for $35 for one week rental at Best Bike Rentals. I will stay here again when I come back! Great ocean front apartments, pricy for being not 'all inclusive' but completely relaxing setting. Great beachside walk. Great restaurants inside.

Beautiful, well maintained grounds with upscale accommodations; friendly staff,great on site restaurant and large pool. Second year staying here,already reserved next year's. Close enough to walk Fifth Avenue,far enough away to not hear the nightly noise of bars,music and tourist's.

Best resort at Playa del Carmen , is perfect for family vacations , the food is delicious there! Have everything to enjoy the beach

Beautiful place to live and to visit. You can also find some turtles at the beach during the season (September-October).
