I was here for a few nights. Alvaro and his staff are doing a fantastic job.

I’ve had minor problems with a room and staff was immediately available to solve the problem. Organizing trips or planning airport shuttle service went smooth, because staff is very helpful and works effectively.

The beach is right there, cleanliness is on point and the beach bar is superb.

Alvaro, thank you very much for your hospitality and your great support with everything. Also, send my regards to Ivan.

I will definitely return some day. Can’t complain. 5/5

Best regards,
Anthony

Found the hotel online. We could not book a room with jacuzzi on a balcony as they were all taken.
Arrived at the hotel, and Alvaro Humphrey, the manager, took good care of us right away he upgraded us to a better room with a jacuzzi on the balcony.
We had an incredible view right at the ocean and watched sun rise every morning from our bed.

The hotel is simple but very Quiet no noise of kids or shows at night . It's great for simple relaxing vacation.

We will definitely go back .
Thank you, Aneta & Jason from Canada

I love this quiet hotel with staff who get to know you. There are NOT 100 people laying on mattresses and being crowded at the beach and hotel! The hotel is quaint quiet and perfect for private space! Rooms are right on the beach with some even with private pools and hot tubs! Travel to parks like Xcaret or downtown PlayaDelCarmen for activities. Beautiful walks! The price is great with simple breakfast included. Easy menu, no crazy buffets. Rustic Clean Quiet. Incredible staff! Thank for the best time ever!!!!

If you are looking for a modern New Hotal this might not be the place for you.
This is an old school Hotel. Only a few Rooms available, So it's really quiet.
Rooms could use some work. but for the price you can't beat it. Ocean view & breakfast included (Must place order the night before at front desk for every day you are staying. Even if you want the same thing every day.)
Restaurant & Bar closed when we stayed but walk down the beach are a couple beach clubs you can order drinks & food.
For Food I would recommend Restaurant called LA Lonchera only few min away In car. 15-20 min walking.

The beach was cleanest, the staff was excellent especially Wendy the receptionist!! She spoke English and was very professional yet a sweetheart! The room was very clean and our balcony overlooked the beautiful infinity pool and ocean. Meals were beautiful, seriously picture worthy and very delicious!!! We would absolutely stay here again!

Our experience with Le Reve was outstanding.
Our main contact Julieta was always in touch and very helpful with the planning and execution of our wedding, our stay, and all of the accompanying hotel and spa delights.
The ceremony was unforgettable and Rafael was a great officiant who was serious and professional while still being light hearted and we were delighted for him to be a part of our ceremony.
Our photo session with Jesica from That Moment Photo was perfect. Her direction was excellent and the photos are magnificent.
Every one of the staff members were accommodating and very polite, and the service was wonderful.
The room was perfectly sized with a wonderful front view of the ocean and a private pool for cooling off and relaxing.
Dinner seemed to get better every night (especially the Chef's Choice dinner!) and the lunch/snack bar food and drink was very fresh and always hit the spot.
The beach and all of the surrounding areas are nothing short of stunning.
Due to the coral being so near to the coast, there are some "rocky" areas as you enter the ocean waters but they are not everywhere and there are plenty of places to easily wade in and enjoy the surf.
We can't wait to return!

This was an amazing hotel with such an amazing and attentive staff!!! The view that you get from the bungalow (plunge pool) rooms spoils all your future vacations. The staff was amazing, especially: Roberto, Antonio, and Freddy. Since we cannot eat non-zabihah meat, they went out of the way and made menu item dishes for us and replaced the meat with fish. Every time we called for a drink or anything from the menu, it’d be in my hand within minutes. The size of this resort is relatively smaller to those surrounding it, but it’s nice and quaint with enough privacy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Cancun/Playa del Carmen for a relaxing vacation. And definitely get the all inclusive package as well, it’s worth every penny. 10/10 will be returning for sure.

Great boutique hotel off the beaten path. Flew into Cancun and rented a car for the 45 minute drive. Went as a couple and opted out of the all inclusive because of the cost. Still ate and drank well. 3 top all-star employees were Freddy at Merlot Restaurant, Antonio the dining manager and Mani at the poolside bar. Quiet except for the resort next door. Beware of Mario, I know he’s just doing his job but we were clearly uninterested in his timeshare presentation. He called our room at 9:30 am on the day we were trying to sleep in. Pool is nice and the maintenance crew keeps the place incredibly clean. The beach is beautiful but rocky so swimming in the neighboring public section is recommended. Walked up the beach and got a massage for only $25 rather than $50 because it was slow season. Great visit and great folks. If you want a relaxing getaway without spending a fortune, we recommend Le Reve. Opt for the ocean view rooms, totally worth it.

The hotel and everything about this resort is amazing. The delicious and beautifully plated food to the amazing and friendly staff, made it hard to leave after staying here for 7 days all-inclusive. A group of 4 of us stayed here from Nov 2-9 and it was "quiet" which was a nice change from all the busy resorts out there. I definitely recommend this resort and would come back again and again!

This place is my ideal resort. I hate large resorts and this cute boutique resort is exactly what I was looking for. The staff is kind and funny and I felt safe being on the beach and leaving my belongings behind. They had a gentleman standing by keeping an eye on things. I left my mobile on my chair covered up along with my book and some clothing and it was still there when I came back from playing in the water. There is only one restaurant and a pool side bar with appetizers. They will bring your food and beverages to your beach chair. It took me 30 seconds to walk from my room to the beach. Only option that was lacking was a small convenient store and ATM at their location. There is a convenient shop one mile up the road and walkable. The resorts next door won't let you onto their grounds to use their ATM or shops.

I liked this place. We were there only to spend the day at the beach and we're allowed to use the pool, shower and bathrooms. The food was really good and at a decent price, so were the beers. The beach is a bit rocky but beautiful. Overall I really liked this place.

Me and my wife stayed here over the Christmas holidays and new years. When we booked we noticed travelocity had told us after the fact that we owed 150 dollars each for new years & Christmas dinner. Being students we would find that difficult to pay and wished travelocity would have notified us prior to finalizing booking. However, my wife called the hotel and relayed our financial situation and immediately gave us a discount on the meals. Upon arrival to the beautiful outdoor front desk we were greeted by Jose. He was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. Now, once again travelocity had made another error on booking: this time booking us under the european plan not all inclusive. Jose was incredibly patient and understand and helped us contact travelocity for an hour and a half of my wife being transfered, put on hold etc. I have to indicate NONE of this was the fault of Le Reve, I merely want to point out how accommodating the resort was due to multiple errors from travelocity, and how the resort helped us rectify them.

Once all the stress of flying and problems with the booking were sorted we walked down the the restaurant. My wife, being vegetarian was worried about being sick of the menu or there not being accommodations available. Once we spoke to one of the servers he called over the Food and Beverage manager Antonio, who went through her dietary requirements and reassured her if there is nothing on the menu that is appealing, the chef could make anything her heart desires. We were never disappointed with the food. Everything tasted amazing and the portions were good. We retired to the room after some food and amazing cocktails, which she will miss Antonio's famous margaritas.

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot and pressure was fine. They have state of the art air conditioning in their suites which kept us very comfortable. The internet here is very good.

In the morning after breakfast we decided we wanted to book some activites for the week. Now, the concierge Laura is VERY good at her job. She helped us decide and knew all the inner workings of any and all excursions and spots. This woman speaks english/german/spanish and either mandarin or cantonese. She is a true ambassador the the hotel, knowing every guests name, what room number and what activities they were up to on any given day.

For christmas they had the pool deck set up with a warm traditional mexican drink and specialty cocktails, as well as a pinata and prizes for guests. We won a romantic dinner for two. The Christmas dinner was amazing and my wife had a special meal made for her.

For the romantic dinner they set up a table on the pool deck overlooking the beach. Now, we got rained on while making our way there so we ate indoors. But Antonio, the food and beverage manager notified us we can have another private dinner, but can still enjoy the meal that was prepared regardless.

The beach is fantastic and this being a 50 suite facility we enjoyed a beach uncluttered with people. Service was quick, correct and incredibly friendly. It felt very personal here. Everybody knew your name and were happy to see you. I would strongly recommend this spot for anyone who wants a quaint, friendly environment with great food and wonderful staff. We are going to miss everyone there and will definitely be returning.

In short:
Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Food was amazing and special diets are accommodated for, even without a buffet you can still order anything you would like.
Rooms are comfortable and quiet.
Wi-fi is great.
Beach almost feels private due to it being a small, but beautiful hotel.

If you are thinking of staying in Playa Del Carmen, this is the ONLY place you need to consider.

Everyone at this lovely little hotel will try to make you feel as your at home, but there's one person at the restaurant that deserves an special mention, her name is Iliana, so... What are you waiting to leave your couch and visit this magnificent hotel.
As a road trip tip if you want to do some ocean swimming, goes into it by the right side of the beach, just beside the dock (there's the only place that doesn't have any rocks) or bring water shoes.

What a gorgeous boutique resort! My husband and I stayed for 10 nights in February 2018. All of the food was a la carte and made to order and simply delicious.

The room had great wifi and a Samsung smart TV so we watched Netflix most nights.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about!

Love this place. The food is absolutely amazing. All inclusive packages are well priced. Views are amazing. Great place to stay if you want to go on excursions as there is no entertainment in house. Staff very friendly. Massage staff awesome. One small downside, the wifi internet is not the best or included with room, but we made due.

Extraordinary service, great hotel and fantastic food. The all inclusive is expensive, but I really recommend it. If you are staying here, I strongly recommend to rent a car, although for only $100 MXN ($300 if the hotel calls it for you) a taxi could take to Playa (city) in less than 30 minutes. Finally, customer service is defined at this place.

Perfect size hotel, great service, wonderful beach, and some of the best vegan food we've ever had. Other guests raved about their 'normal' food, too.
