I have been using this Hertz location for my last three rentals and I keep coming back because they give fair deals without any hassle! Ask for Carlos! He’s the best!

Well, we’ve had a positive experience. Came without booking in advance, got an amazing quality Nissan, return back earlier than were supposed to and received 1k pesos back. Deposit returned back to the card in 5 days.

Hirvin Jimenez looked after us very well. He gave us a good honest price for a 11 day trip n the car was in good condition. We brought the full insurance plus tyres n windscreen insurance as no point going without. On the fourth day, the car had engine problems. Rang Hertz, thinking the worst, stuck in Bacalar for a couple of days, but the car was replaced within 4 hours. Well done, Hertz. Will use them again.

Normally I hate renting cars but these guys were way better and went beyond what I would have expected by far

I rented a car for 2 days at a special rate and then ended keeping it for 5 days. They respected the rate for the extra days. I had no problems at all. Some of the staff can be a bit unfriendly but a girl named Luisa was great. Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them.

Well, I was quite worried about renting a car at Playa after reading all the reviews and especially after getting ditched at ADO car rental the same day I planned to leave for 19 days trip (of course with valid reservation).
I was quite desperate so I decided to give Hertz a shot despite all the reviews and... it worked! Car has been ready in 30 minutes, fair price included (some 550USD for 19 days rental of Chevy Aveo), we went for a 4000 KM trip and everything was surprisingly fine.

This Herts office is one of the best, the staff is very polite, reasonable prices and Policies are quite fair enough for the rentals. I have been there twice and both times were good experiences.
