The Fives Downtown Hotel & Residences

Beautiful hotel. Perfect location two blocks from the beach. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Diamond guests treated to evening cocktails. Perfect breakfast with healthy and other options. Try the green juice. Nice pools and hot tubs. The service is outstanding. You will be waited on hand and foot.

Staying at the fives downtown hotel - great hotel in the perfect location. Rooftop garden excellent with amazing views and exceptional service. A special mention to Lazaro, Christian and Christina who were really attentive - nothing was too much trouble. Can’t recommend highly enough. 5* Thank you.

Very nice hotel, very short walk to the beach and all the restaurants etc. The personnel did everything so make our stay a great time. They can arrange tours, taxis etc for you. The roofpool and jacuzzi are excellent, with great views from the pool. Mexico was great, this hotel was a big part of the great experience we had.

The Fives was a great hotel to stay at. It’s right on fifth avenue, so right in the center of downtown playa del Carmen. The rooms are super clean & modern. The service is amazing. Cristina helped us with food options & provided amazing service. Jesus was a great waiter at Lola rooftop restaurant.

My husband, sister-in-law and I were visiting our niece/daughter for 6 days and absolutely loved it here. My sil and I are talking about coming back to see her daughter and staying here again.
The only thing that could be better is if there were more seats at the upstairs pool.
Christina was nice. Javier at Le Tigre is an awesome bartender as are the roof top bar staff.

We have been here many times. Great hotel with spectacular rooftop pool. We had wonderful service at breakfast, on the rooftop and overall. Cristina was incredible and made sure that everything was perfect for us!

Very good hotel, good location. The room was a little worn around the edges but not bad, good comfy bed. I don't understand why there are so many shelves though.

The rooftop patio is very nice. Ricardo at El Tigre is very attentive and reminded me it was happy hour and I was walking out on a free beer during 2-for-1a

This hotel is great place to stay. Christan provided us with great service and plenty of care and attention at breakfast. He is very friendly and helpful and will get you anything you need. Cristina has also shown us exceptional customer service and has ensured that we have everything we need in our room plus she has given us some very good recommendations.

Loved my experience at The Fives! Cristina, my receptionist was amazing! She made me feel so welcomed and I felt right at home. She was very informative with all that The Fives has to offer. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Playa del Carmen. It’s a block over from the main attraction so super convenient!

I travel a lot with my finance and we pleasantly enjoyed the whole trip. The ambience location and atmosphere are amazing. Rooftop views impecable. Cristina is your go to person. Everything was taken care of not much effort into anything which is ideal on vaca.

Our first time to PDC- we love the fives downtown! Fabulous rooms, service, ambience. The best is the rooftop pool- amazing views of the ocean!!! Cristina is an amazing at customer service and Javier makes the best margaritas at El Tigre.
Can’t wait to return again!!!

We love this property and have been coming since they opened! It was a welcomed surprise to meet our waiter Arturo at Lola, he is a gem!! Very nice, patient and personable. The front desk staff is also great especially Aaron. We will be back again and again!!!!

I come to Playa many times per year and the location cannot be better. You can walk to everything, especially the beach! The only reason I gave 5 stars for the service is because of Christina. I was there celebrating my birthday and I was disappointed that my phone never worked in my room to be able to call room service or the spa to book a birthday massage. However, once I told this to Christina, she had everything corrected right away, including booking a hydrotherapy appointment for me at the spa! She had a birthday cake for me and she and Julian made me feel like a queen! I love them and they make me want to return to The Five Downtown again! Much as Gracias Christina and Julian!!!

Absolutely incredible service and attention to detail. As always, this Hilton property crosses the T’s and dots the I’s. We had an excellent breakfast attended by Julieta Moreno. Not only did she keep my coffee mug full but she also gave me a great recommendation for a day trip to Cozumel. Cheers!

Eduardo gave superb customer service. Food was great. Drinks he suggested were very tasty. Best passion fruit margarita I’ve ever had. Hotel location was very convenient for everywhere we needed to go. I highly recommend the hotel for outstanding service, location and stunning roof to pool/bar/restaurant.

First trip to Mexico and this Hilton Curio hotel couldn’t have been a luckier pick. Service is outstanding from front desk to house keeping. It’s in a great location and near everything. Wonderful restaurants in a short walking distance. Easy to get to the Cozumel ferry. Plenty of shopping. What really sets this hotel apart though is the roof top pool and bar/ restaurant. The view is amazing. The staff there is outstanding. Arturo though was just a tremendous waiter. Attentive, professional and helpful. You don’t get service like that everywhere. I hope to return and Arturo and the rest of the staff would be the reason.

Christina. Fernando, Ernesto, Francisco, Ricardo, and Eduardo are the best and made us feel very welcome. We were able to ask questions, get assistance with excursions and they treated us like family! The food is excellent too! We will come here again!

Had a great experience at The Fives Downtown, very pretty building and excellent service and staff (thank you Ernesto!).

The room was spacious and the bathroom/shower were clean and high-end. Only complaint about our room was we could hear noise from the lobby since we were near the first floor but we were able to fall asleep just fine.
Would definitely stay again.
