Antera Suites Playa del Carmen

We stayed in the residences side. Room was clean and convenient, roof top jacuzzi was amazing. Very convenient location to beach, restaurants, shopping and ferry. I’m super happy I packed ear plugs and recommend them if you stay here and not a good sleeper because you will hear the music from surrounding clubs and bars every night until about 4-5am. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m back to Playa Del Carmen.

I am a woman of older age.. this place is very close to everything. Very lively, with music.. that’s why people come here. I loved every minute of it. I was able to sleep , relax. I would totally come back again

Very nice hotel just one street away from the busy beach promenade. From here you have a good start in all directions.

The rooms are very spacious but unfortunately very noisy. Especially if you have a room facing the street, because directly adjacent to the hotel is a nightclub that plays loud music into the morning hours, which can not be kept out by the thin windows!

The hotel also has a nice roof terrace with pool and jacuzzi with great lounging options.

Special thanks to the very nice security guard, please direct our thanks, for his help and kindness (cab...) Also the other staff were always friendly and helpful.

In the heart of all the shops and two minute. From beach area. Loved it here. But I will say I'm not one to spend much time in our stays. I'm out and about all day. That said, I did enjoyed their rooftop pool and hot tub a few times. Parking garage right below hotel in which it was a little tight as far as trying to maneuver and park but we made it work.

Large comfortable room. Bathroom had all amenities. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was open for drinks, snacks and meals. Beautiful rooftop pool and rooftop area. Excellent location. Short walk to the beach and the famous 5th avenue. We felt safe in the area with everything close by.

Had a great stay at Antera Suites, Place was beautiful, room was great, Pool was good and was close to everything. I would definitely recommend.

Hotel, service and value for money are all great. The staff is trying really hard and is very welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are excellent, very well equipped, particularly the 2 bedrooms apartments. We got some good coffee at the bar and the service there was great too. The problem is that if you are in the rooms facing outside you will not get much sleep as there are couple of clubs nearby that are open til 6am and insist on playing Spunge Bob theme song as loudly as possible until the bitter end. So either get a room facing the atrium or go clubbing.

Beautiful hotel, perfect large suite with kitchen and private rooftop. Gorgeous 360 degree views from heated rooftop pools. Center of town - so expect nightlife at your doorstep!

One of the best apartments we stayed in! Very comfortable bed, big walk in wardrobe and private tarace with jacuzzi bath.
Location was great too, close to restaurants and shops.
The only nagative would be noise at night but it didn't bother me therefore I am still leaving a 5 star review!
100% recommend if you are planning a trip to Playa del Carmen.

We enjoyed staying at this condo hotel last year and are looking forward to going back this winter. Condos are very comfortable and well equipped. The pool on the condo side is small, but you also have access to the hotel rooftop. They do need to add a ladder to the pool to make getting in and out easier.
It is 2 blocks to the beach and one block to 5th Avenue (shopping and restaurant strip). Hundreds of great restaurants close by. There is no need for a car as everything is in walking distance.
It can be noisy from local bars. Bring ear plugs if you want to sleep with the windows open. Closing the doors and windows shuts out most of the noise.

This is our favorite hotel in PDC. Every year we go to this hotel. Nice rooms, great location. The pool is amazing.

Rented a 2 bedroom 2 bath residence. Full kitchen and washer and dryer. Rooms were modern and clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Both restaurants were excellent. 3 minute walk to the beach. 10 minute walk to the bus station. 10 minute walk to the ferry. 2 minute walk to 5th Ave. Pools were also very nice.

We had the best time in this hotel, the room is big, with a living room and a kitchen. The roof is amazing with sun beds and a jacuzzi.
The bed is super comfortable and the air conditioning is perfect.
Playa is a bit loud so the is some noise, but not to bad.
We will come back for sure

Stayed here for a week and loved it. Very nice place to stay. Excellent pool and rooftop. Room was very nice as well. Was very happy with our experience!

Really nice apartments. Loved the rooftop pool and the private jacuzzi. The rooms are comfortable, however, you can hear the bar outside until all hours of the morning.

The hotel features two separate types of rooms. The first is the hotel side with your standard hotel features while the other side features an apartment style hotel. I reserved the one bedroom king sized bed apartment; which featured a half bathroom, walk in closet, small living room, kitchen, a full bathroom, and my favorite a washer and dryer! Both sides of the hotel have pools located on the roof tops, but the one from the hotel side is way better! I read lots of reviews that detested the hotel because of the nosey neighborhood. That said, if you aren’t a heavy sleeper and don’t want to hear night club music being played at 2:00 am, then this isn’t the hotel for you. I on the other hand really recommend this hotel. It’s located near the most popular section of Playa Del Carmen, La Quinta Venida. It’s only three blocks away going south from the beach, lots of restaurants are near by and I can’t stress the use of a washer and dryer. In front of the hotel, there are food posts, and although they aren’t a top tier restaurant, the food is good and inexpensive. You can purchase food and drinks ALONG with desert for less than 200 pesos - which translates to $18 USD depending on the value of the USD. I highly recommend adding the breakfast feature. You legitimately eat at a restaurant located near the hotel - breakfast is served between 7 am to 12:30 pm. You simply go to the reception, ask for the breakfast ticket, and head over to the Belmont restaurant. There, there are breakfast choices included in your room rate. ALL of the choices are delicious! Oh and did I mention, if you book an apartment you’ll also find a dishwasher, stove, microwave, fridge, plates, pots, pans, and silverware?

I highly recommend this hotel! My husband and I will definitely be returning.

It's a value hotel. There are noisys at night but playa del carmen is resort town so it can be foregiven. Ohter than that it's ok price-to-performancewise. Especially Osvaldo is kind and keen to solve guests' request and I appreciate it.

Amazing hotel! Pools were fantastic. Room was beside a loud nightclub so I’d recommend earplugs but otherwise fantastic stay
