Platinum Yucatán Princess All Suites & Spa Resort

All around an amazing resort and by far the best all-inclusive I’ve stayed at! Our room was located in a quieter area with our patio having direct access to the swim out pool- luxurious and relaxing! The resort itself has a diverse collection of restaurants and none of them disappointed- one thing to note is there is a dress code so arrive prepared. I loved how the resort offered quieter areas and a more bustling pool bar area for those wanting a little more party (we preferred the quiet aspects but still had fun joining in the foam party). But by far the most memorable was the service and staff- all of which went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. A huge thank you to Max at the front desk for exceptional service, Yvette who instructed amazing yoga and Pilates classes (we LOVED your energy and individuality), Bryan at the Yucatan who was a ray of sunshine, and all of the wonderful staff at the spa Yucatan and all the servers and bartenders for providing such amazing service. Highly recommend!!

Very beautiful resort, adult only. Really quiet and peaceful, but with boisterous fun areas too. You can find your niche. Never too busy, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely private beach with informal grill and bar on beach. Plenty of available chairs and grass umbrella shades on the beach in January. I couldn't find much to be disappointed in at this resort.

Food looks amazing, great variety and styles, but is often not hot enough in the buffet. But absolutely sufficient and fine! Different restaurants are fresh cooked and don't need reservations. The informal dress code (none at the buffet) is relaxed and not strictly enforced if, for example, you have dressier shorts for men. Just look tidy and clean!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not all speak English or French well, which is fine! Everybody sort of manages with a few key words and gestures. Tipping is fine, but not required. A couple of dollars (US) most of the time is nice when you like the service. It is always gracefully appreciated.

I would definitely come again. The swim out suites are the best for having your own patio. Private too. Rooms are cleaned and restocked every day. Concierge service is great, as is room service, even pool service outside your room, if you swim over to the other side! (See photo).

I really enjoyed my stay at Platinum Yucatán Princess Resort. The food surpassed expectations with its diverse options and quality, while the entertainment kept me thoroughly entertained throughout my stay. However, what truly set this resort apart was its exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I think this resort has great value and would absolutely go back!

Perfect getaway for two. Great food, activities, service, decor. The decor and architecture is jaw dropping - it weaves modern, chic, natural elements and Mayan history. The grounds are beautiful. They’ve done a great job keeping the natural environment as part of the resort - lots of little animals come out in the evening! I came before Xmas. The pool was a little too chilly for Texans (not for Canadians). I highly recommend.

This place was pretty good to us. The room service food was meh, but everything else was pretty decent. All of the employees here work very hard and are very nice. Our hot tub felt like it was going to break and we had someone come try to fix it. Everything else was great. Beautiful property.

Loved this place rooms were real clean and service was top notch. Food on the Yucatan buffet was good selections changed every day with a theme, hit the action stations this is where you will get the freshest food. Restaurants were a hit and miss our best experience was the Rodeo Grill bar far the best of the a la carte restaurants. The only negative I would have is the beach has far to many rocks to even walk out 20 feet into the water. Attention to the beach itself was not maintained as well as other hotels on either side. The swim out pools were an amazing touch but if you are looking for peace and tranquility book rooms on the opposite side of the main pools as these have loud music and activities from 10am-6pm daily. Overall a great adults only resort.

We had a wonderful time there 1 week before Christmas. Just left, and we miss it already. All of the staff were very attentive and courteous. The restaurants were great and classy. From breakfast to late night snacks, the food was delicious. There is some adult fun for everyone. We are looking forward to our next visit!

My wife and I stayed here jan22-29 and had a great time . We stayed in a platinum swim out room and had great relaxing trip. Food was good , staff was friendly, weather was good. We spent most of the time at the pool and not the ocean. We were nervous as we did see some negative reviews but we had zero issues and really enjoyed our vacation.

We had the best honeymoon! Lovely resort. Everyone was very nice and kind to us, we particularly enjoyed meeting Janeth at Bruschetta, Armando at the breakfast buffet and the specialty coffee servers who made the best coffee-whiskey drinks!
The room was very nice and modern, we had a lovely view and enjoyed the nearby swimming pool.
The shows and activities were all super fun! The cast is amazing!! We loved every single show and they are all very talented. The entertainment team was also very good and fun.
Spa was good and relaxing, the beach was very nice but hard to swim cause of the rocks. Bartenders were all super nice and made great drinks!!
Managed to book all of our excursions through the third party companies at the resort which was very convenient if we had any questions we could just go to see them anytime.
The only two things we would suggest is a towel station to exchange them and also to look a improving the food from room service which was far different quality from the buffet/restaurants.

Beautiful resort! Stayed for 7 nights and would definitely stay again. The best restaurant is Rodeo Grill. The manager Edgar is amazing and I recommend the Sirloin steak! Definitely a to-go resort. Friendly staff.

Amazing resort , very clean, big rooms, good food and entertainment, amazing staff always ready to help you, very welcoming, chill champagne and chocolate in the room waiting for us, very private, good restaurants. The only thing I didn’t like was the beach because is very rocky!

The resort was beautiful. Christian who met us and took our bags was amazing. The massage was very good and relaxing thank you Virginia and Jennifer. The only complaints are not enough smoking areas, the beach was not exactly great for swimming as it was rocky and being bothered if you wanted a massage every 5 minutes. Not exactly a party place which is fine but not everyone wants to hear Zumba everyday poolside. Also beware of the heat and drinking it'll get ya lol. Sorry about that 😘 Overall it was great after you learned the flow. Would love to go back!!

I stayed here for 7 nights with my partner and can’t fault anything. Rooms were nice, hotel is nice, pool area is nice and customer service is fantastic. Every member of staff said hello when we walked past and were more than polite.

I’d like to give a special mention to Bryan in the restaurant area (Yucatan). He works none stop every time we saw him, greeting everyone that walked through the door. Always smiling and making people feel welcome. He really made coming into the restaurant a pleasure. I’d give him 10/10!

Stayed at adults only section of resort December of 2022 Loved it so much we rebooked for our honeymoon December 2023.We had an excellent 7 Day vacation in a Swim out Platinum room food was excellent room service was excellent and prompt. All the concierge staff and bell boys were extremely helpful and wanting to make our stay enjoyable. Food and drinks were very good with lots of choices our favorite was the taco setup by the pool and the Chinese restaurant with one chef per table. We felt very safe and extremely welcome and cared for. Carlos bartender at the swim up was very good at keeping everyone's drinks full and encouraging all to access all other parts of resort and beach. We can hardly wait to get back to this resort.

Very memorable experience. Spa was fantastic. Front lobby staff were very helpful. Housekeepers were very kind and efficient. Lots of interesting wildlife. All staff were very nice and helpful. Beach was nice. Water was a bit rocky but nice. Very gorgeous sunrises. Food was top notch. Room was very nice. Recommend platinum rooms. Excursion staff were very helpful and honest, (Adair). (Carlos), head bellboy very helpful and honest. Great week.

If you’re looking for an all inclusive place to come relax and do nothing WITH the options to do activities then this is the place to be. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and serve you plenty of alcohol. The food is great especially at the Skylight restaurant. You can sit at the quiet area or go join the party in another section at the resort. Highly recommend the Michael Jackson show, grease show, and the pirate show!

Foam party is a must.

Shout out to Eduardo at Brucceta & buffet, Manny and Ricardo in entertainment, all the staff at Skylight was amazing, and finally all the fantastic bartenders.

Good stay. Typical all inclusive stay. They upgraded our room because what we had wasn’t available when we arrived. Good food. Recommend the Rodeo Grill.

Be sure if you want a quiet room to ask for one. Our room was above the club, loud every night till 1 am.

Also be sure to lock your patio doors, a Mexican racoon (Coati) broke into our room at 5:30 am one morning digging through our stuff.

I've been here twice, both with swim out rooms, one on the farside of the resort (nice and quiet). The other time was a honeymoon suite. Food and staff are great. Beach is nice to walk along, check out the sister resort for more shops and restaurants. Will be back.

Spent our 2 week honeymoon here. Couldn't fault it. The service is second to none. Staff are genuinely friendly and will go the extra mile for you.
The hotel is a bit far out for any opportunities to walk to places outside the complex, and taxi's are prohibitively expensive. Buses are cheap and will come to the hotel, though.
Beach is lovely, the sea is warm but shallow, and there's loads to do.
I would definitely recommend.

I came here for my birthday mid October. I got the swim out room, it was beautiful! The shared but more private pool from the main pool was amazing and definitely worth the extra cost. Beautiful modern look throughout the whole resort. Very large resort, especially since you can go to their other resort, we got lost exploring and had a very long way back. On a side note: I love the wild life here… there are cats, coatis (friendly racoon-like) and lizards. They all were very peaceful and never had issues with them. The service was outstanding, every employee we had the pleasure of meeting was amazing, helpful, kind. There were lots of food options for dinner, the food was pretty good, some nights amazing, other nights was okay. Armandito and Benedicto (Speedy Gonzales) are some of the many people who always provided the best service and were such hard workers. I already have recommended this place to everyone I know!!
