Moshe Cube Kosher משה קובה

This place has phenomenal Kosher Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Jewish food. The shakshouka hummus with fresh pita was to die for. The couscous side was so yummy we almost ordered another one. Highly recommend basically everything.

It can get quite busy on the weekends so I highly recommend getting a reservation for your group. The outdoor seating is also lovely. One side note is that they don’t have any alcoholic beverages on the menu.

This place is a gem! We were initially not sure of dining here because it seemed like a typical tourist joint but decided to stop by because it was right next to the condos we were staying at.

However we were absolutely wrong. This place truly deserves the rating it has (~ 5/5).

The Food is absolutely amazing! Every single dish we ordered was great and made as if just for us (though the place was jam packed).

Hospitality is great too! The owner Moshe, though the place was jam packed and super busy, was very warm and courteous, and made sure we were well taken care of, which speaks for the amazing attention to detail and exemplary customer service.

I wish they open up a branch in the city I stay in.

We loved Moshe Cube and went there twice over our trip. The food was all fantastic and so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the asado - it was one of our favorites!

We ordered delivery too which was a bit less impressive, so if you can go there in person I’d recommend that!

This place is kosher but *not Mihadrin* They didn't update the Hechsher on the website.

Wow - a must go to restaurant, and an incredibly strong contender for the best restaurant in Playa del Carmen. The flavors, the freshness the quality - all aspects are top notch.

I have tried several items - the Jerusalem pita, the ground beef hummus, chicken shawarma, the falafel; all were excellent to the point where it’s difficult for me to pick a favorite. Can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in playa!

One of my favorite meals in Playa del Carmen. Excellent rib eye stew recommended by the waiter. Portion was huge and comes with two sides, I was able to get dinner and two additional lunches out of the portion. Mint lemonade was tasty as well.

Super happy with our experience at Moshe. My partner is celiac/gluten free and the owner went out of his way to fry the falafel for us in separate oil. Food was delicious. Service has significantly improved since we were here about 6-7 months ago. They dont serve alcoholic beverages, which honestly as someone who works in the health industry, I respect & appreciate. Best kosher place in all Playa del Carmen! Trust me when I say this, we went to every single kosher place here and no one can beat Moshe Cube, both in the quality and taste of the food, which is CRAZY good, and in price, Moshe Cube is considerably cheaper than any other place (I would say around 20-40% cheaper) and their portion sizes are very generous. The place has a very nice Israeli vibe to it, with israeli music and a packed with israelis. Because the place is so good, is common to have to wait in the line to have a sit, but in all times that we went, the line was pretty quick. The service is very good as well. I had overheard tables wanting to meet Moshe to personally compliment him on the overall quality of the restaurant (Moshe is also a very nice and kind guy). If I was to pick one dish to be my favorite, I would say the rib eye hummus, simply AMAZING and PACKED with flavour, but in general everything we ate was VERY good. This restaurant totally made our trip to Playa del Carmen be so much better. Moshe ya melech!!!!

Wonderful and delicious food. Only place to eat Kubeh soup outside of Israel. We came back and ate here twice!

I never leave reviews, but this place is honestly delicious. The service is great all the staff is hustling to ensure you don’t wait for anything. The food is incredible, authentic, and big portions. Also super kid friendly menu, the waiters knew to order for the children first so they didn’t have to wait. We came two nights in a row. The owner is great, making sure everything was ok during our dinner. They also deliver to your hotel. Definitely recommend!!

Came here about a year ago and forgot to post my five star review! Smooth and balanced hummus and lovely fresh fluffy pita. The falafel were also excellent. I really loved the hot sauces they provided. Overall great experience and can't wait to return soon. Good for vegetarians:)

Food was amazing , service was top tier ! The mango strawberry smoothie was sooooo fresh and good !!!! Kid Friendly and we saw dogs !

-🥗🫓We started with opening table salads (סלטי פתיחת שולחן) a lot of things with mayonnaise, but also tabule salad, Israeli salad, hummus, matbucha and very nice pitta bread. The salads were just perfect I have nothing to say, out of everything we tried I think the matbucha might not be our favorite but it's a very minor thing for me after everything we tried.

-🍚🥣I ordered a vegan beet cube (קובה סלק) with rice, and my partner got his cube with couscous, the couscous was the best thing we had, it had a red vegetable soup with all the traditional vegetables that come with couscous, it was just incredible!!! It was so good that we didn't even want to put it in the cube soup, we wanted to enjoy the flavors as is, so for that reason only it was worth having the rice because it went in the cube soup, the rice was very nice as well but nothing compared to the couscous. The cube itself was very good as well, the vegan version came with rice and mushroom filling.

-🍋We also had the very refreshing iced lemonade (לימונדה גרוס)

We enjoyed the meal so much, we ate as much as we possibly could because it was so good and were stuffed by the end. There was Israeli music, very good service, we felt right at home for a moment with all the wonderful familiar flavors, really amazing. Definitely don't skip the couscous!!! Super highly recommended!

The best kosher food around Mexico! We drove here from Cancun took a $80 taxi each way just for the food. We tried other kosher places in Cancun and no one came close to the delicious taste Moshe has ! I can’t recommend this place enough 👌🏼
