The Gym Playa del Carmen

Nice, well equipped gym. A wide variety of Hammer Strength and Life Fitness machines, plenty free weights and benches too. In terms of equipment should have (more than) anything you need while visiting PDC area. We had the gym included in our stay at Condo Hotels, so in that context (by far) the best hotel gym experience ever. Visited multiple times during the day (10 am - 2 pm) and it was never too busy.

Pictures show only about 20-30% of the equipment, mostly for legs.

Nice gym! They have enough equipment for 20-30 people at the same time. They don't have a deadlift zone, but you still can find a space to do deadlift. They have many classes, but I didn't join the class, no review for the class 😅

Great spot for a quick top up.
Has all the equipment you could need up unless you are professional.
Still enough to get the job done.
Gets busy so go early.

Nice facility with lots of equipment and classes. I did a drop in yoga class while traveling and they were very accommodating and even loaned me a mat. Bonus they have a juice and smoothie bar in the lobby for after work out pick me ups. NOTE: YOGA CLASS WAS IN SPANISH

Arguably the best gym in playa. It is pretty clean and the wait times for equipment generally is pretty good. They regularly add new machines, wonder when they will run out of space :)

I LOVE The Gym! Everyone is so nice. The classes are great. They have such a variety that there is something for everyone. I really enjoy working out at the Gym and can’t wait to go every day!

We purchased a three session pass for 300mxp to use the gym during our holiday in Playa. There were a wide variety of machines and free weights, all of which were in great condition. The facilities were nice and the location just off 5th Ave was convenient.

Most of all we enjoyed the sense of community the gym staff and members have fostered, which made for a very safe and welcoming environment. Highly recommend for travellers.

I really like this gym. Having gone to another gym in Playa del Carmen I found this gym much more pleasant, less busy and it has most of the equipment needed for a great workout. The staff are friendly and I always feel good walking in, ready for a good session!

They have lots of options for classes (yoga, Hitt, zumba, etc.) and although it get crowded at time the gym does have plenty of free weight and machine options.

Abdul is one of THE BEST Personal Trainers around!!! He helped me discover a new level of fitness, consistency and strength that transformed my mind and body completely! His positive energy is eccentric and his work ethic is impeccable! He’s the guy that never stops smiling no matter what, the guy everyone stops to say hello to and the humble guy that still reracks the weights if he sees them out of place! Overall 10 STARS to him and the rest of the staff for being such a great gym family to me!

really good gym. super clean. good equipment and music. the citrus scent in the ladies is a bit overwhelming though. and it's a little silly you can't be in the group rooms when not being in use... since the stretch corner sometimes can be too crowded. overall, loved this gym.

Nice gym with a very good equipment selection and good free weights section.
A bit expensive as they charge 300 pesos for one day. However you have a cheaper option at 600 pesos for 3 days.
You have to wear a mask at all times unless you’re doing cardio, which contrary to other comments below I believe is positive.

Day passes are bit expensive, but monthly membership is reasonable and they have fun classes, plus great equipment. Right next to a nice Cafe too, and juice bar inside.

So far the best option in Playa del Carmen! The gym is sooo fresh (AC is always on point) perfect for the hot weather we have sometimes! Is also super clean there’s always people from the cleaning staff working around keeping it clean safe and shiny ....and of course is super well equipped variety of machines stretching zone locker rooms showers classes and you’ll find more I really love it.

Awesome gym!!! AC is amazing! Staff were great and spoke good English. The wifi worked great unlike evolve gym. Equipment was all working and good condition. Tje shakes there were pretty good as well. People complain about the prices and I do agree they are expensive but I guess you get what you pay for😉

Just happened to walk bye and feel in love with this gym. Old school free weights and great equipment. 👍 I'm going right now before my vacation ends.
