Bagan Comfort Hotel

I enjoyed my 3-night stay at this hotel. I initially booked for just one night through Expedia. However, upon arrival, the staff informed me that they were no longer active with Expedia due to the pandemic and ongoing conflicts in Myanmar, which had led to a decline in tourist arrivals. I paid in cash, and Expedia promptly refunded me.

The check-in process was straightforward, and I was pleased to see a security guard on duty at night for added safety.

The owner and staff were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. They always greeted me with a warm smile and inquired about my day or if I needed anything. They even helped me book a bus ticket to Yangon, which was incredibly convenient.

The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance of restaurants, markets, and a delightful coffee shop called 'My Place.'

My room was clean and equipped with air conditioning, which was a relief in the Myanmar heat. The only downside was the frequent power outages that the country was experiencing. On my last night there, we had a power interruption from midnight to the following afternoon.

Despite this, I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again when I return to Bagan. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and good breakfast.

Good price for what you get.
The rooms and the hotel are sparkling clean, nice comfy bed and the water pressure is incredible good!
Staff and owner are very nice and the breakfast is the best we had in Myanmar.
All the restaurants etc are right around the corner but still silent at night!

All staff and manager were friendly and well trained! Good location for morning walk.
Wi-Fi and free PC were equipped.When the electricity was break down, immediately strong
spare power supply started !
If I have a chance to go to Bagan,I will take this hotel.
