Lovely restaurant off the Main Street. Love the outdoor setting - very relaxing. Service is very attentive and the food is delicious. Best lime, ginger and honey juice I’ve had in Bagan. The coconut ice cream with caramelised cashews was delicious.

Food and services really good but expensive than the others restaurants. Also charges 15% between taxes and service.

Great place for foods and drinks. I love the taste. Fish curry is fresh, and not very strong curry smell (like Indian curry). The people are very nice :)

Quite pricey for the area, but really great food. Also a little more western than other places, but for me that just put a nice contrast to the local kitchen after weeks of travelling. The food was fresh, the coffee good and the staff very friendly.

Excellent food, drinks and icecream with unmatched service in Nyaung-U. The staff are properly trained and are able to explain their menu well. The prices are on the higher end but worth it if you would like to be assured of a quality dining experience. Ice cream is home made and delicious. We will be back!

My wife and I came here for dinner, which was served in the idyllic little garden. The food was delicious, particularly the fish curry (one of the best I've tried). The flavours were well balanced and it was not too spicy. This is a great place to spend the evening.

Excellent restaurant in the centre of Bagan. We came here two or three times during our short stay in the city and couldn't get enough of it. Especially liked the coconut ice cream - a perfect treat for those hot sunny days in Myanmar.

We spent many a night closing this place down. After a hot, sweaty, dusty day in Bagan, this was our oasis to unwind with good food, good hospitality, and one of the best atmospheres in a restaurant, not to mention endless beer to suit our fancy. They did some amazing things with bananas for desert, too! For non-drinkers, other beverages are safe here, too.

The tea leaf salad here was particularly memorable, as was my coconut curry - I still think about them two years later (visited early 2014). The service was lovely and one of our fellow travelers was kindly warned about the odour of his impending bamboo shoot dish. Still totally delicious by the way.

Perfect place to break up the mid day heat or cozy up an evening. We went light here, butnit was perfect. Started with the frozen ginger lime honey. Not too sweet and oh so refreshing. Followed with the Myanmar salad trio. Ginger, tomato, and tofu salads were all well done. Crisp, colorful, and balanced flavors. Closed with a scoop of carmelized cashew coconut and a scoop of mango ice creams. Mango ice cream in mango season? Yeah, for sure.

I have seen some complaints about price. The deal is, it is not a deal, it is a case of getting what you pay for. I propose it is worth it. Bottom line, I will likely come back here over my 3 days in Bagan. I tend not to repeat visits.

Highly recommend Black Bamboo. The food and service is great. It's one of the only restaurants a bit remote from the main street with a little garden which gives a very quite and relaxing atmosphere, and very romantic at night. Last but not least, they serve French wine !

Amazing, in the heart of Bagan this oase of food invites you to enjoy a great lunch in an amazing admosphere. Staff is very approachable and listens to what the customer wants. Price is average. And the surrounding is astonishing

Very cosy and "a part" restaurant. The food was great, the service attentive and the owner swung by for a quick chat with our group which is always a nice touch.

We were there for lunch and ordered burmese style beef,chicken,and pork curries.Loved their food. Excellent customer service,reasonable price and great decoration.Will come back again.

We tried salad, grilled fish, cocktails and fresh juice..everything was amazing and staff wanted to satisfy in everything. They even brought for us some sticks against mosquitoes..
