Opened in 2021 Sharky”s serves a nice variety of international food, ice cream, cocktails, wine, beer, etc. —> see photos. I tried the veggie pizza for 13.000MMK and it was delicious. A bit too much cheese though and pimped it with a bit of salt and garlic. The interiors are nicely designed - especially their ceiling lamps. Benches and tables remind a bit of a beer garden in Munich or a vineyard in Vienna. The staff is very friendly and engaged. Recommended restaurant if you are craving for some Western cuisine after exploring off-the-beaten-track Myanmar.

Standard European food and variety of beer are matching. Price is nearly 1/3 cheaper than Yangon branch. Still open after covid and crises.

Sharkys is known for their excellent spices and condiments and ingredients. The beef burger was excellent and the pizza toppings also. Pizza crust was a bit dry. Nevertheless we appreciated the cocktails and the western cuisine in otherwise very orientally oriented cuisine context.
