TS Bagan Restaurant

Beautifully decorated, very clean and cozy place. Owners/waiters speak good English and can easily recommend things to order. The food was good/very good, especially fried vegetables with cashew nuts and Curry Myanmar style.

Beautiful ambience! The best tea leaf salad in Myanmar, and there’s so much to try. Sweet sour chicken with rice!!!! Located very close to the northern temples, perfect place for a lunch pitstop :)

My wife and I ate initially at a couple of places on the main drag which were ok, but then we discovered TS Bagan, we've been back each night for dinner as well as a lunch or two. The hosts look after you so well with iced water, nuts and a small treat at the end of your meal and along with good English can explain anything asked about any of the menu offerings. The food is of very high quality prepared to perfection by the chef. All items on the menu including drinks are all very reasonably priced. Also being a short distance off the main street, it has a very relaxing and peaceful ambiance. Both part owners are only too willing to please. I would highly recommend this place for quality, price and peaceful surrounds. The food, the location and all three people involved make this place a rare find anywhere.

It’s beautiful to sit outside under the shade of a stunning tree to enjoy a local beer and vegetarian meal in Bagan. The service is so friendly and the little daughter may approach to practice her English skills with you. Clean and delicious food

Probably the best restaurant in Bagan ! The food is amazing ! The staff is so friendly and professional. The food itself is prepared from scratch at the order and everything tastes delicious. Shout out to the hot and sour soup, the red and green currys and the (not very local but still amazing) chicken burger, executed to perfection ! Just walk the extra two minutes and avoid those loud and busy restaurant on the main street, this is the place !

We stumbled upon TS Bagan Restaurant as it was conveniently located near our hotel in Bagan. They had the best Burmese chicken curry I've had in Myanmar! They provide complimentary purified drinking water - thus not contributing to the overuse of plastic bottles - and great service, my glass was never empty. The restaurant provides a pleasant atmosphere on a quiet street. Added bonus - TS is a really nice guy!

Amazing food and staff, highly reccomend this place. Very genuine family run restaurant, we stayed at lux pillow hostel and came here for lunch and dinner because it was so good! The lentil soup, fried vegetable noodles and chocolate pancakes were delicious! Better value than other restauarants around, Lots of vegetarian options too, very relaxed and chilled atmosphere, we'll worth a visit :)

TS Bagan is the best place for a meal in the area! A bit off the beaten track, but it definitely adds charm to this place. The service is very friendly, obliging, happy to help you choose the best dish, even the most demanding person. As for the kitchen itself - PHENOMENAL. I heartily recommend and if I ever have the opportunity to return to these areas, I will not hesitate and go to TS Bagan for food. Good luck!

We spent four nights in Bagan and ate here three times! The food, setting and staff are lovely. The prices are cheap in comparison to other local restaurants. Highly recommend.

The best kitchen you can find in Bagan! Delicious, fresh and the stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. Must visit, no doubt.

Very good place! I took a chicken burger at 3500 and it was perfect and very big! The owners are very nice and they give free water.

Loved the food: very cheap, good quality and lots of choice. The owner has good manners and was kind and caring for our table! Free purified water and candy afterwards too.

This place has really nice service! First time for me in Myanmar that I am served water (purified) when I sit down. Then anti mosquitoe scent put next to us, then they put a fan up, Then gave peanuts! Really nice people. Food is delicious! (the portions are a bit small, kind of like the rest of Myanmar).
I had the coconut curry, it was really yummy!

Everything was amazing here, very low price, hospitable owner couple, delicious meals, and atmosphere. The owner couple were very sweet and attentive. I visited this restaurant three times during my two day stay in Bagan. They offered me a mosquito coil, purified water and fried peanut before meals and tamarind candy after dinner. My recommendations are 12 ingredients of soup, green tomato salad, sweet and sour chicken, fried vegetable rice. It costs us around 15,000 for two including 5 dishes and 2 drinks. Very good price, and friendly environment. Strongly recommended.

The restaurant is on a quiet street, away from the crowds. The owners are very kind and attentive and the food is cheap compared to other restaurants on the main street. Vegetable dishes cost 1700 - 2000 and fruit juices cost 800.

Portions are quite big and the food is very tasty! You also get free peanuts, cold water and tamarind flakes after your meal.

We just checked out TS Bagan for lunch as it is near our hotel and would definitely recommend for anyone in the area. They were very friendly, and the food was delicious (we got the chicken coconut curry and fried noodles with chicken). There was also a nice tamarind treat at the end of the meal. :)

Me and my wife only spent two days in Bagan but returned here four times due to the excellent food and service. The food I can quite honestly say was the best food we had in our two weeks in Myanmar and without a doubt the best service, Myanmar being a country that doesn’t have many English speaking natives it was very refreshing to be able to have a conversation with both the waiter and waitress whilst ordering our food without any confusion. Both people that served us were very pleasant and brought with them an atmosphere that made us feel very welcome. All of this came at a very affordable price and even though we were backpacking on a budget we still felt comfortable enough to eat here twice a day on our visit to Bangan and would recommend anyone to do so to!

Everything is perfect here! Unbelievable lovely couple who make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also open to chat with you and we had some nice talks.
We were suprisingly the only guests at that time which is sad as this is probably the restaurant with the best customer service in Bagan or maybe myanmar and the food was amazing. Small portion, as usual in Myanmar, but superb taste! We had the fried noodles Thai style once with chicken,once with vegetables only.
In general they have a very big selection, so I am pretty sure everyone will find here something (Thai, Burmese, Chinese, soup, different starter like garlic bread and even a burger).
All in all I can highly recommend this place and a must go when searching for food in Bagan!

The owner is very kind. Of course, the dishes are very scrumptious and the location is also great because in front of my hostel. I highly recommend you order “Curry Myanmar style chicken ”. That is very tasty and cheap one.
