Eagle Restaurant

Simply wow! Our hotel only served international food so we were on the lookout for some local food and we were so glad to find Eagle restaurant! The food is made on demand and the cook is extremely attentive to what you need. We ended up having rice tuna and 4 types of curry. This was the best meal we've had in Sri Lanka, by far. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience at the eagle a few nights ago. They made all the vegetable curries from scratch, and they were absolutely delicious. Great service too!

The place is just delicious. Gorgeous couple that cook there served us a huge portion of rice&veggie curry each, which was just mouth-watering! The place looks quite simple from the outside, but you can really get the best local, authentic meals there. All fresh and tasty, highly recommended while visiting the area.

This family restaurant is a bit hidden, but you won’t regret seeking it out! We were the only guest this evening, and everything was freshly prepared in the kitchen by the owners. Our favourite was the rice and curry, but the tuna, salad and boiled vegetables were also very nice.

Very delicous food, close to the beach. It is a small family owned restaurant with a lovely family. They will prepare the best food for you, you can even arrange your favorite food for the next day. We went here for 3 days. Delicious tomato onion salad, very good rice and curry with a cabbage pineapple salad. Tasty fruit juices, all fresh. You can get all kind of fresh sea food. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice place. We just found it randomly and we can't be more happy. We went already twice. Food is good, good prices, the place seems very new and reformed. And the family who runs it is really kind and good people! Very nice place. Fried rice is good, and they have fresh fish!

The food was delicious and the price was fair. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth it.

The food was prepared fresh from scrach and was amazingly tasty, I even got coconuts from the garden :) the portion was very big :) our stomachs have been very happy after the food! Highly recommend this place and the amazing family running this place :) ! We will visit again thank u very much , it was great to meet u all !

Great place, really nice and helpfull family owning the restaurant. We came back three times because they were so nice and making good food.

Priyantha and his family work together to produce delicious meals - especially the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. He is friendly and can provide advice on the local area.

This couple is so kind! They cook you a fresh dinner even if you are the only guests (and even when its already 21:30). They will get some fresh fish with the scooter if you order fish and prepare everything at the moment for you. We got our juice and a funny dessert at the end for free. The dinner btw was good; way too much though haha!

It’s maybe a little bit more expensive than other local restaurants, but its worth it and they don’t have many guests here i think because of the location so i totally think they deserve everything of it!

Our focus when visiting Sri Lanka was eating the local cuisine as it is so difficult to find Sri Lankan food in Sydney. Eagle Restaurant didn't disappoint as the family recommended the dish of the day with fresh fish and ingredients. An authentic gem

Me and my partner had food here and it was incredible, the family who run the restaurant are all so lovely too and really gave us a warm welcome to Sri Lanka! Amazing value for money with huge portion sizes, it was so good that we came back to eat for our second night!

Lovely family-owned place, tucked away in a quiet street. Some interesting culinary choices (the ketchup tuna did surprise me but in a good way!). There is nothing not to like there. Great value too.

Lovely place with local quisine. Upon request it's possible to do spicy or not spicy food. The food is very tasty comparing to other local outlets. If you want to give it a try for a tasty local food - it's a place for you. Highly recommend.

We have had 3 dinners at this amazing tasty restaurant 😋🍴😁so far they have made best fish from all the restaurants we tried here. In general we liked all the food they have prepared! Thank you and see you next time🤙

Extremely happy to have found this place, food is good, the owners are nice and try hard to please the customers. We had fresh grilled prawns which were perfect and grilled tuna steaks, the children were also happy. We recommend it without hesitation.
