Chingu Guesthouse

Pros: I stayed here 5 nights [booked with AirasiaGo]. It's affordable, free ramen noodles, drinkable water, and cooked rice. It's walking distance to the clubs. I would definitely come back. The staff were helpful and friendly. I made a lot of friends there. The couch is also super comfortable.

It's a good solo-traveller environment. I felt that the guesthouse was clean enough. I've stayed in many cheap guesthouses, and this is better than most Japanese guesthouses.

Cons: long bathroom waits, theres only 2 bathrooms. So shower early.

It was awesome. Nice and friendly staff, very Nice accommodations, nice with free coffee and rice. Met many nice people when i stayed there

I don`t even know where to begin. Am I suppose to laugh or cry?

I arrived around 3pm and the two receptionists there were so drunk that they were not even able to do my check-in (nor able to walk in the street actually).
I`m still wondering, was that some kind of prank?
I just left my bag there and came back around 9pm later that evening, but I still had to wait more than half an hour to get my bed.
I guess it`s not so easy to work properly when you smell of alcohol so much.
Such a shame to own a place like that and to have those kind of people as staff.
There was only one person trying to apologize for the whole mess, while the others were just saying "Computer was broken, so it`s not our fault !"(in a strong Russian accent). Indeed, I guess it`s not. Probably, the computer`s fault is that you`re such a gang of alcoholics!

Also, don`t even dream of having a quiet night. Everybody there is so noisy (including the drunk receptionist who was debating in the street as if he was in a bar), dorm-rooms are so small that you are literally stuck to one another. Bunk beds are a pity, just one movement while you`re sleeping and its a symphony of metallic fanfare and a cat`s cry during the night.
I`m not even going to discuss the number of showers per beds, which is 1 for 20.

I have slept in a lot of guesthouses around the world and it`s clearly the worse I have encountered in my whole life. Just walk the other way and don`t give them the 1 cent because, for those people, all these things which happened to me are clearly not a good enough excuse for my money to be refunded.

Should I pay for my bed with a bottle of Vodka next time?

私が到着したとき受付の人はとても酔いつぶれていました。受付の人はチェックインも歩くことも出来ませんでした！
ベッドも21時からしか使えませんでした。
シャワーは20人に1つしかありません。
小さい部屋や無作法のスタッフや拙いベッドのせいで、とても煩い場所です。
韓国は楽しい国ですから、行ってくださいけど、このゲストハウスには絶対に行かない方がいいです。

Par ou commencer?
À mon arrivée peu avant 15h, les deux réceptionnistes étaient tellement ivres qu`ils en étaient incapable de faire mon check-in.
Voire même incapable de se tenir debout! J`ai donc laissé mon sac sur place et décidé de revenir plus tard sauf que, à 21h, mon lit n`était toujours pas prêt. (Check-in à partir de 15h qu`il disait...). En revanche, le réceptionniste sentait toujours l`alcool à plein nez ce qui, j`imagine, doit être un standard de qualité pour cet établissement.
Inutile de préciser que même si vous souhaitez annuler votre deuxième nuit, malgré le chaos ambiant, aucun remboursement n`est possible.
La prochaine fois, peut-être devrais-je faire ma demande une bouteille de Vodka à la main?
Je fais l`impasse sur la taille ridicule des dortoirs, du nombre insuffisant de douches (1 douche pour 20 lits) et sur la nuit, bien loin d`être paisible, que j`ai passé.
Quand les bouchons d`oreilles ne sont même plus suffisant (lits superposés bruyants, staff bruyants, j'en passe et des meilleurs...).
Un conseil : ne mettez pas un pied dans cette auberge qui n`est qu`une grosse blague gérée par une bande d`alcooliques.
