Kinreisou

This is a beautiful place to stay in Hakone. The host is very kind and caring. There is also an onsen available in the accomodation which was something we looked forward to after a cold wintery day. I would definitely recommend Kinreisou to anyone looking to stay in Hakone

I went during new year holidays !! It is right place to rest after you full day trip around Hakone.!! The place is so clean with private natural onsen, free unlimited tea and perfect ambiance.

The place is more of a village and I couldn't find any restaurants open around 7 PM and there is no convenient stores. Out of hunger, I asked the lady in-charge, whether they serve dinner at this hotel. But she said no.
Then I ate my souvenir and slept. After a hour she knocked my door and gave me two pieces of onigiri. It was damn hot and tasty. It seems she prepared after I asked for the dinner. When I asked about its cost, she said no need of money. I was moved away by her hospitality.

Worth Money !!

This place was cozy and authentic. There’s a private sulphuric onsen (hot spring) and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very traditional. The staff were friendly and speak some English. Very conveniently located near the cable car station and the train station.

房主是一个奶奶，非常亲切热情。我们八点出门，还特意七点半提前在门口送上了早餐。非常好的一个住宿选择！离强罗站也不算远。

很特別的日式住宿體驗，適合一個人的旅行。很棒的溫泉、安靜的旅館、美味的早餐¥800以及親切的服務。

Good place suitable for Single or Couple travel, is middle stop of the way to Sounzan Station.....staying there give you the advantage of going up to cable car station early and close by Hakone Museum. Just remind......just only 1 Onsen available for whole house using, per time can 2 person enter(3 can, if 1 is child). You will get privacy by using tag show "Now using" to prevent other people mistaken enter(As long you make noise, people won't come in). And please purchase dinner, snack & drink before you head back during night, is not convenient find food nearby, hotel usually have nothing to serve on night. Nearest convenient shop is about 15min walk, and usually close quite early and food always out of stock fast.

Maison d'hôte traditionnelle japonaise à expérimenter. Grande chambre et salle de bain partagé avec sa propre source d'eau chaude(onsen eau laiteuse). Valise déconseillée. La tenante est très sympa et serviable.

This small inn is a cute and cheap solution, if you just need a single nihht in Hakone. Shared bathroom, the lack of an actual shower (and just an onsen, which might make you less clean) means that more than one night seems less attractive). But it is worth the experience as traditional japaneese hosting, and the owner is really nice...
