Onshi-Hakone Park

It is a very nice park with amazing views and some very beautiful hidden spots. I would love to spend more time there. But be prepared to climb some stairs :(

The imperial Island gives you an astonishing view over lake ashi.
The Parc has some steep stairs when choosing the way by the lake. Some paths were closed because of the deep ground caused by the winter spring weather.

Great spot to see a beautiful view of Mt Fuji. Signs are very helpful throughout the park. The grounds crew does an amazing job to keep the park looking beautiful. Easy to access via public transport with a bus station right outside of it. Glad we stopped here!

Nice hilly park with some lovely views of the lake. We couldn’t see Mount Fuji as the cloud was too low but the plaque at the top of the hill said you could. Lovely and peaceful for a walk away from the tourists.

Generally a very worth going to park! There was multiple parts of the park which showed a different view of Mt Fuji or different scenery. The best part was that this park had minimal people and it was pure scenery! Amazing.

Really pretty if you could see mount fuji! Do bring heat pack if it's raining, it's useful. Really nice viewpoint, no regrets climbing up! Quite elderly-friendly in terms of the climb too, not too steep.

A beautiful, clean and well maintained garden with viewpoints to Mt Fuji on a good day.
Onshi-Hakone Park is a hidden gem and not well known. It is nice and quiet.

Quite big. Quite & beautiful.
If you love trees then you should come.
Lake view is very nice but FUJI mountain view is just so so.

Lovely park. Huge, beautiful, and has a viewing tower with splendid views to Lake Ashi and Fuji-san (if one is lucky, without clouds right on top...). There are various areas to visit within the park, including the lakeside observation building which is a beautiful piece of architecture. Hakone checkpoint, tea houses, hakone Jinja, lake ashi etc. within walking distance.

Amazing view of the Cedar trees the mountains the lake.... Awesome park to visit and to see in hakone.... It was my first time experience over there and I simply loved it... Highly recommended for tourist who loves to explore...

Worth visiting. Free of charge, good views, nice and quiet place. 15 minutes from any of Hakone ports at that side. Used to be an Imperial garden and summer residence kind of stuff.

Beautiful views of lake Ashi and Fuji-San. Well tended gardens and a nice walk along the lake. Only ten minutes or so from the boat cruise terminal. (My camera wasn't good enough to capture Fuji-san in the distance)

Great view from the park, you can see the lake, mountains and the Mount Fuji, if the weather is good.

Beautiful park with well-kept trees and shrubs. There is a large luxury building which offers a great view to mount Fuji. Similarly, one can view the mountain well from an oversight platform. In the park there are different areas with varying plants. All of them are attractive. There is a small lakeside route as well.
