Lovely cafe by lake Kinrin. If not too cold get a seat on the terrace overlooking the lake. Can be crowded but turnover very fast. Coffee and pastries are nice too. Free WiFi and toilet too! Thumbs up

We were able to get a window seat to fully appreciate the beauty of Kinrin Lake. The café had a peaceful ambiance, likely due to my early arrival, allowing me to relish a delightful breakfast. We opted for the Laruche breakfast, which included a selection of Danish Pastry Bread, Prosciutto salad, Omelette, Jam & Yoghurt, and Danish toast served with Hokkaido butter. The toast was exceptionally delicious even without any additional spreads!

Take the seat first before order. Very nice view but not many outdoor seats

Lovely cafe with super yummy croissants 🥐 and a gorgeous view of the lake. They had a small bakery, fancy chocolates, and vegan cookies as well. :) Great quality food! Hope to return again one day for one of their lunch sets and a seat outside.

such a pretty place! i lived my best life for the whole 2 hour I was there. Food was not bad either. It was pure bliss to just be sitting outside, coffee in hand looking out to this view. Would do it all over again. The cafe is also linked to a museum so theres a gift shop inside as well.

The view from the cafe is unbeatable, but the drinks were more average. Most things were sold out by early afternoon

Cafe La Ruche as it’s name suggests reminds the customer of Paris and art. The cafe/bakery serves delicious breakfast sets and baked goods whilst providing you with a serene atmosphere and view of Lake Kirin. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who wants to start their day on a high note.

Extremely picturesque location. The reflection on the lake while enjoying a nice craft beer or coffee is worth every penny. Definitely worth stopping by while in Yufuin!

The best place to have breakfast in Yufuin. Forget about eating in the hotel. Come early here for pretty decent breakfast with good coffee. Do sit outside for the tranquil and beautiful lake view. If you are there later in the morning can be pretty noisy because of the tourist otherwise the best place for breakfast
