Freshly baked buns and bread that even locals queue up for. We bought a bag full of assorted breads and it cost us only 1000 yen!

Really nice Bakery, everything is well price and tastes good. You have to get a order sheet first and then you line up. The line can be pretty long at times but it should move quickly.

First you get an order sheet and a number inside the shop, then you line up. Prices are reasonable (around 120¥ per piece), service is quick and kind and the bread is very tasty!

Super amazing custard and red bean buns. Go early before the buns are sold out. There is perpetually a queue of elderly residents, and they line up before opening hours.

The sweet (red) bean buns are amazing. Lots of locals and tourists came despite the rain. That's how popular it is.

They have a menu and order sheets in English. Just pick up a queue number, select your items and wait for your number to be called for service.

Melt in your moth bread and pastries. Take a number when you walk in, and if you’re not Japanese they’ll give you an English / Korean / Chinese menu. Late in the day things sell out, so go early! If there’s not room inside (place is very small) you should wait outside. (Stickers on the bag tell you what’s inside!!!)

A must go bread shop! Absolutely worth the short wait. Their bread tastes so fresh. Slightly different from other bread shops. You don't serve yourself. But they have a very helpful 3 language menu for choosing.

Its too late I only could explore this place on my last days in Beppu. Tried varied of its bread, the best one is bread with azuki filling, very special. They said this place consistently serves the original menu as it was 100 years ago. Well done.

Delicious cheap bread with a long history. Please be prepared to line up and take the queue number as the shop is quite small and always crowded.
