Somuri Steak

Somuri offers a culinary indulgence with its high-quality Bungo steak. The succulent tenderness and rich flavor make it a worthwhile, albeit expensive treat for the occasional splurge. Staffs are friendly and speaks some English. Ventilation is not the best so you will smell like your meal after leaving the restaurant.

Reservation recommended for smooth dining experience. Restaurant is at level 2 of the building at location.

Dear American tourists, you’ll be very glad you went to this restaurant! The local beef that they serve is truly amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything like it. They have expensive meals of multiple courses, but they also have cheaper options where you can just order a steak dinner. One thing cool is that they have counter service, so it’s great for tourists who are traveling alone or in pairs. The counter also is a place where you can see them cooking and prepping and enjoy that activity while dining. We went with a larger group and had a reservation so they put us in the back area with a screen separating us from the other guests. It was a very relaxing and lovely meal. most of us ordered a sirloin, either a small or medium and one of us ordered a fillet. My medium rare sirloin was perfectly cooked and just melted in my mouth. the other courses were totally fine and delicious but what was exceptional was the steak. The service was of the type that you call them if you need something. There is a button on the table to do that which makes it easy and when you push the button, they come immediately.the only reason for service is because of it being this type where you have to call them to get help. This is very normal in Japan, but might be below expectations for Americans spending this much money on a meal. All in all I highly recommend!

Bungo beef is best wagyu. it is so delicious. they served the food in sequence; soup and starters 1st then entrees. very good restaurant

The steak is always GOOD. There is a 「Party」course that includes steak but also a variety of dishes. Really quite a value! The price is according to the cut of steak you choose. A very popular spot for locals.

The restaurant was full when we got there. One of the (gentleman) staff could manage English and was very helpful. He offered us a place 30minutes later.

I had the bungo sirloin steak set for dinner; the steak was done just right according to my request (medium). I will recommend this restaurant if u like to try the bungo cattle.
My friends had pepper steak set and they were quite pleased too.

隱身於別府巷弄內的牛排店，在冬末初春的別府傍晚，四個不知道晚餐該吃什麼的台灣遊客，選了一間離我們下榻飯店最近的日式牛排洋食餐廳，準備來個初體驗大分縣美食大冒險，有種孤獨美食家的感覺。一進門看到的是80年代吃茶店的裝潢，瀰漫著淡淡的油煙，撲鼻而來的煎牛排香味，這裡有佐餐紅酒選擇，八成滿的顧客愉快的享用大分縣產高級後豐牛排的美味。啥咪！輕量級後豐牛排套餐只要4600日幣，有250克後豐牛排（此店老闆有獲得後豐牛協會證書），沙拉，湯，白米飯和餐後Expresso 咖啡☕，不只是佛心價高CP值，牛肉品與料理技術更是高品質，店家建議牛排5分熟，將後豐牛軟嫩短纖維的獨特口感發揮的淋漓盡致，入口軟嫩外完全不同於其他地區牛排有較大韌性嚼勁，後豐牛呈現軟糯嚼勁完全💯不費力。牙口不好的老人家也能輕鬆享用，料理長老闆熟練的控制鐵板火候，鎖住肉汁，奶油添香，入口香氣濃郁搭配帶有嗆辣的黃芥末一起食用，大快活大滿足，比起美國牛肉，後豐牛牛肉的細緻程度完勝！漢堡肉牛排套餐只要日幣2600，配菜副餐與牛排相同，與牛排一樣品質牛絞肉，蓬鬆的口感與精準的調味搭配微酸甘甜由店家自製的自信口味的多蜜醬，搭配米飯就是一道日式牛肉獅子頭飯🍚讓人滿意的口味絕對讓你沒有清盤煩惱。用餐環境氛圍很好，三五朋友聚會，搭配自選紅酒🍷，沒有負擔的美味，讓每位顧客都沈浸在美食享受的愉悅中。
另外，外國人用餐友善環境，服務員英語應對流利，在別府意外的發現，為此次別府旅行更增添樂趣⋯⋯我一定會回訪XD

人気店と聞いていたので、念のため予約して行きました。平日１３時だったので空いており１人だったのでカウンターの端の席を案内してもらえました。
夜に旅館のステーキ会席を予約していたので(笑)
そむりランチを注文しました♪

エビフライは小ぶりですが、身が締まってブリっとして歯応えも良くタルタルソースも美味しかったです

最後のエスプレッソが満足度を上げてくれます👍

数年前、初めて訪れた時の感動が忘れられず再訪。
前回の反省点を踏まえて、サイズはSで、ガーリックライスは無し、その代わりに牛のたたきを追加。
やはり旨すぎです、ステーキだけでは無く、サラダ、ロースハム、スープ、デミソース、その全てが美味しいのです。
上質なサービスも相まって、別府での最高の思い出となりました。

旅行の際に予約して伺いました。
ヒレのコースと単品を頼みました。
とても美味しかったです。これまで食べた肉の中で一番柔らかかったと思います。
また別府に行く際に伺いたいです。

平日中午來不用排隊。點了一份商業午餐，
、牛菲力跟漢堡排。牛菲力雖然比較貴，但非常的好吃，下次來我還會再點來吃。在餐廳前面不遠處有停車場，費用是自己投到門上的信箱口。

平日だったので予約なして入れました。
ランチのヒレステーキ (150g) が3000円で食べられるはほんとにありがたいです。
肉好きなら間違いないお店だと思います！

到訪時間為2024/2。此次用餐帶著父母小孩一共6人，由於線上預訂僅限4人，因此事先請飯店服務人員以電話方式先跟餐廳預訂。是一家非常有古風的西餐廳，若是居住在台灣的環境，可以想像裝潢方式偏向古典台式牛排館以紅色為主搭配地毯的風格，整個餐廳有一股牛排的煙味，香氣十分濃厚的氛圍。

當天我們點了菲力、莎朗、骰子牛以及胡椒牛排，應該涵蓋了大部分的餐點肉質。和牛口感十分出色，莎朗咬下去的瞬間油花以及香氣會瞬間充斥口腔，入口即化之外還帶有少許瘦肉，是十分出色的餐點。其餘餐點種類雖說等級各有不同，但無疑皆具備十分優秀的品質。此外順帶一提，洋蔥湯我個人認為有非常優異的表現，大家可以優先考慮。

到訪日本這麼多年，這還是第一次我願意給予日本當地餐廳如此評價以及評論，推薦各位若是有到別府務必一試。
