Myojokan Inn

Although many may consider this man's attitude as aggressive or rude, there's definitely some misinterpretation/language barrier difficulties at play here. My original impression also followed a negative outlook until I met the man in person - emotions can definitely be hard to read until seeing and interacting with him in person. We ended up having a last-minute change of events, but the host was willing to be accommodating and willing to make an exception despite evidently showing some resistance at first. I am beyond thankful for him doing so and going above and beyond when he had every right to not do so.

We stayed only for one night, but he was more than willing to try to help us think about what to do as well has had general recommendations for the area as well as the other cities we were visiting in Japan. All of them were helpful as well, which was a plus!

Rooms were very nice overall as well as clean and provided the true ryokan experience (provided robes, nice small onsen, good service, slippers, tatami mats). Everything was overall fantastic and I couldn't have asked for a more genuine, low-key ryokan and onsen experience. As long as you respect the man and his rules, you'll have a great experience.

Fantastic value budget ryokan. Spotlessly clean. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful and was always happy to spend time with us to chat and make lots of really useful recommendations. There is everything you need for a traditional ryokan experience including a natural onsen hot spring which you can use privately in the morning and evening. As a seasoned traveler I can throughly recommend this place. Oh also it is very central and easy to to pick up buses from multiple stops just a few mins away

This is a wonderful ryokan with a natural spring onsen. The owner is SO incredibly friendly and welcoming. He is a pleasure to talk to, and he helped me with directions and planning. He also gave a tour and showed me where everything is. My room, the restroom, onsen, etc, were very clean. I enjoyed the ability to change the color of the lights in my room. It created a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. I wish that I could have stayed longer. The location is great for easy access to onsen and the Hakone Loop.

Had a real original Japanese experience! Great area, good price, lovely couple run business. They were very helpful and friendly! Onsen was small but fine! Great for relaxing in at the end of the day!

Best hospitality we received during our trip.. I highly recommend this wonderful ryokan that is just a short walk from one of the main train stations! It is run by a very kind man who despite speaking little English, does his best to help you have the best Hakone experience. Not only did he help us map out a route for sightseeing, he also advised us on how we could most efficiently get to our next stop the next day (Kawaguchiko).

The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, and we had a nice bath in the onsen before going to bed. Safe to say I had an amazing sleep!

그리고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ한국어 간단한거 가능하셔요. 사장님과 열심히 수다 떨다 왔어요. 일본어 조금 가능하시면 재미나게 대화 가능할거예요. 방도 최근에 새 다다미 깔아서 너무 향이 좋았고, 그 근방 다 물과 화합료 섞는데, 천연온천 두 곳 뿐이고 그 중 한군데예요. 꼭 가보세요! 가격도 합리적입니다.

Expérience très atypique, un service agréable et un accueil chaleureux avec un gérant de bons conseils. Établissement très bien situé et pratique pour visiter la région de Hakone. Je recommande fortement à tous les voyageur !

ゴールデンウィークは泊まり無理だと思ってましたが、たまたま探して見つけた宿でした。腰が痛いので温泉に入ってゆっくり休みたいと こちらに伺いました。オーナーご夫婦は凄く優しくて 駐車場の案内に迎え来てくれました。忙しい時期に丁寧な対応して頂きました。お部屋は１人なら充分な和室でした。隅々綺麗にされており、温泉もクチコミにはありましたが、広くはないけど３人位でゆったり入れる湯船です。源泉掛け流しとは聞いてましたが、お風呂も綺麗にされており、気持ち良くゆっくり浸かりました。お湯も肌がサラサラツルツルになる良い湯です。金額が安くてゴールデンウィークに泊まりが出来た事と、ゆっくり源泉掛け流しを満喫出来た宿でした。帰りがけに朝取れたって筍をお土産に頂きました

Un allotjament autèntic, una experiència única. Ens han tractat molt bé i el propietari ha estat molt amable.

ゆっくり温泉も入れるし、旦那さん女将さんも大変良い人。料金も格安。料理も抜群！！箱根宮ノ下に行くなら、是非一度立ち寄るべきです。

館内（風呂、洗面所、トイレ）がとてもきれいでした。ご主人との話も楽しく、また利用したいですね。

宿から1分以内にコンビニがあり、駅も近くて便利でした。

かけ流しの温泉が素晴らしく良かった！宿もとても綺麗でした。
