Sōunzan Station

What a cool way to travel!! Wonderful views!

Nice little station for visitors to buy unique gifts and for enjoying the lovely scenery by taking a cable car.

A delightfully tidy and pleasant place with gift shops and some food.
The ropeway was down so we took a bus further up the mountain. The bus stops just out of the property to the right and brings you to the sulfur area and on to the lake via 734 and 735.

A station that connects the cable car and the funicular. Before boarding the Owakudani cable car, remember to check out the pavilion where you can have an excellent view over Gora and surrounding mountains.

A very interesting cable car station where one can dip his feet into hot springs while enjoying the view at the terrace.

It is a neat small major station and has not much to do compared to other big major stations, but the view is still great.

The newly built facility with decks and parking area is fabulous.

It is a quaint little town on a hilltop. Surrounded by some amazing scenes. Am glad we visited. The town shuts down by 6pm and apart from the hotel restaurant nothing is open to have dinner.

The town is well connected with busses and trains to reach other nearby places. Will definitely come back to visit again.

Also be sure to carry warm clothing as it can get cool in the non summer months.

Due to high gas fumes, most of the times row way will be stopped. It would be great if there is some website to find the current operating status before hand.

It can get extremely busy but the Tozan densha rocks soooo hard!

Sōunzan Station is where the big forest begins, offering visitors the chance to appreciate really nice views.

As you travel past the forest, you'll encounter the spectacular Volcanic Steam Vent Area of Hakone, also known as Owakudani, providing a dramatic and scenic experience. I was able to make a ton of photos.

The station serves as a gateway to some of the most stunning natural landscapes in the region, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts.

強羅からのケーブルカーから大涌谷方面へのロープウェイに乗りかえの駅です。
展望台が設置してあり、相模湾が良く見えます。

今天很順利的搭到纜車，司機大哥把我們放在早雲山車站，並告知姥子車站沒有人下車，途中會經過大湧站，一座巨大的火山很壯觀！接著繼續往下到桃源台。

清潔感のある授乳室があります。個室の中に　更に1組入れる個室があり、2組くらいまでなら授乳出来ます。（先の人が鍵をかけてしまうと入れませんが）ありがたいです。
