Broken Plate Restaurant

The food was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was good. The decor in the restroom was so elegant. My salmon was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed my meal. Put this place on your To Go list.

An interesting fusion of Jamaican and several other cuisines, the menu for this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had the Baked Brie, Shrimp Bao, and Earthlicious Burger. I found the portion sizes to be more than filling so unless you’re curious and want to try several things, there’s no need to get 2 mains like I did.

The service was also exceptional. It was really bad weather when I went and so I had to wait a bit for other members of my party. Without asking, a waiter approached me with a bottle of coconut water. Very thoughtful!

No loud music so ideal for a date or business meeting.

I love this restaurant, definitely 10/10. Beautiful space with an amazing view. Food was amazing and a big shout out to my server, Moses. He was very welcoming and recommended the best white wine i’ve ever had. Customer service on a whole was wonderful, hostess was sweet and polite. I’ll definitely be going back❤

Wonderful experience. We had the curry goat pasta and the oxtail bolognese. Both were amazing (I loved that the Jamaican influence in both dishes was front and center). The service was amazing (thank you Simone for taking good care of us!). I would highly recommend this place to every and anyone.

First time going last month (October) since they moved location. I had the chicken flat bread & salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Both were very Delish

I love the atmosphere. Really prestige and the bathroom is really nice. The workers were really warm and helpful. I give them 10/10 for making my visit great. I think outside is nicer to dine. Really nice but inside is good too. The food was really tasty however the Korean fried chicken doesn't have the Korean sauce on the fried chicken so that was the only down part but it still tasted good

We didn't reservations ahead on a Saturday night so it was no surprise to me that it was mostly reserved apart from 2 bar stools. No problem, I was excited for the food so the table was the least of my concern.

We got seated and almost immediately the bartenders checked on us to make sure we were good, took our order and put on a mixologist show... not really but we got some entertainment lol.

Like most ladies, pictures affi tek and an essential picture on your night out is a restroom picture. Let me tell youuu they did not slip, they didn't not miss! Immediately as I opened the door I was disappointed that it was small which would mean it didn't have the big restroom mirror...but yuh see me, you can win me with a garden theme or gold and white theme any day, and they were both present. The ladies restroom was beautiful and warm (and I specify the ladies restroom because the men restroom is just plain but clean).

The food came in good time and eas looking delicious! The salmon and mash was spectacular, I took off 1 star off the food because of the pasta. If you know me, I'm always going for a pasta to find 1 that can beat south avenue. The chicken pasta I got is a contender, my problem with it is that the pasta itself could take about 5 more minutes of boiling. The sauce was lovely, chicken nice and tender.

Again, if you know me... anywhere the passion is, I'll find it. So I ended my night with a drink of double happiness, a passion fruit martini 😘! Was expecting a little buzz though but never catch a spirit at all. The drink was lovely nonetheless.

In between food, drink and bill wait, of course I ran back to the bathroom for more pics, warmth or simply to clean up. I really appreciate the effort placed in that bathroom.

All in all, it was a great experience, lovely food (coming back for salmon) and service.

This place has been on my list for some time and I finally got to visit!
It was definitely a great experience. I got seated outside, where the view was calming and the food more enjoyable.
The evening was a bit chilly, but once that alcohol hit, I completely forgot about the breeze.
The drinks were tasty and I like the fact that I could actually taste the alcohol and it wasn't watered down.
The food was perfect! I ordered the shrimp pasta and I was definitely not disappointed! The shrimp tacos were filled with a lot of different flavors and the chicken breast lollipops definitely was different in a good way!
The service was great and our server made sure we were comfortable the whole time.
The prices were a bit expensive, but with the taste and quantity, it was definitely worth it.

Hands down probably one of the best menus I have ever had to choose from. It's entirely too much good food in one place so hats off to the chef for this wonderful menu you have created.
We enjoyed lunch here and between the 2 of us we sampled quite a few items from the menu and all of them were excellent.
Service was great and the ambiance is very nice as well. The weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't get to enjoy the outside but next time we will.
If you are food adventurous and love fusion food this is the place for you. I highly recommend and hope to be back again soon.

Always a great vibe with good food prepared in a unique way…especially the local dishes like curry goat. The cocktails are mixed well and are visually appealing and above all else the staff members are friendly and accommodating especially Orane and Moses. Big up to the management team of Stewie and Kwasi who work the floor and make the customers feel wanting…to come back!

Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm atmosphere. The staff proved to be extremely friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The cuisine and beverages both met my expectations in terms of quality.

I must say! One of the best restaurants in Kingston I have ever been!
Usually in most restaurants, the service is always the worst but this restaurant took it up quite a notch! The service was excellent , the atmosphere.... prestige! And the food! Jesus the food!! I can now say this is the best spot for steak! While everything was tasty, this is the first restaurant in Jamaica and gave me a perfect medium rare steak that melts in your mouth and a lobster that was cooked just to perfection! My hats off to the great staff here. I will definitely return!

Service was impeccable 👌 from the moment I arrived at the front desk. Very polite very charming and very professional.
Atmosphere ecstatic the location where this restaurant is located is perfect 👌 and inside is great and the lighting perfect not those crazy white bright lights, really nice warm lights that compliment the shades and colors and interior design.
Food was beyond what I had imagined 😋. Let me say I took a Philly cheesestake sandwich and I've eaten this multiple places in new york and this one tastes the best to me, it had all the right flavors and blew my mind.
Issa taco was great too the sauce was awesome I need the ingredients for that sauce chef!!!! Excellently dices tomatoes and proportioned meat to veg ratio 😋 great job.

Just ate here with a group of friends. The food was really good. The appetizers we had were the Salmon Tostones, Salmon Rice Cakes, Pulled Pork Birria Tacos, and the Oxtail Wotons and they were delicious! The Grilled salmon was also really good! The mashed potatoes were delicious! Jonoy, our server was excellent! The service was great! He gave us the best service out of all the restaurants we visited on our 8 day long vacation. Go here if you get a chance!

Definitely added to my go to restaurants in Kingston. I've been here three times, and the service is always A1. The food is always well done. Will always go back ❤

Great for rooftop dining, drinks and dinner. I've now been 3 times and never disappointed! It gets very busy at nights and on weekends, so reservations are recommended. Else, you may have a little wait for seating

I celebrated my 40th birthday by having dinner at one of my favourite restaurants in Kingston. The ambiance was perfect and the staff was fully prepared for my guests. The food was good and our waiter for the night served us well. My birthday dinner was very special. Thanks Broken Plate😊

Loved the experience. JMMB was hosting and they selected the perfect spot at Broken Plate. The service was top notch, always with a smile, the food plentiful and tasted awesome. The ambiance was really pleasant, comfortable and suitable for the meet and greet session.
Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and will be back again. Will definitely recommend!!!

One of the very few restaurants in Jamaica where the waiters are actually pleasant and doesn’t wear a screwed face. I felt soo welcomed at broken plate by Simone and Andre. I enjoyed every moment and I will definitely be back as usual.
