Hope Botanical Gardens

This is a lovely botanical garden that showcases different cultures such as Indian, Chinese and Caribbean. The admission fee to park my car was reasonable (200JMD) and there was ample parking available when I visited. The garden is a wonderful place for those who enjoy birdwatching. The botanical gardens are an urban oasis within a bustling and hectic urban environment and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent tropical flora and fauna of Jamaica.

Spacious and clean environment. Suitable if you need a large space to practice dances or rehearsal. Excellent for photography, weddings, and large events. Additionally, it's also perfect for a picnic date or just a long walk with a friend.

An exquisite haven for tranquility and nature enthusiasts. The park is free, adorned with breathtaking landscapes, offering a serene escape perfect for relaxation, picnics, and events. Gazebos and fountains add to the charm, creating an idyllic atmosphere.
There is also an on-site nursery with a wide range of affordable plants. There is security on the compound, a restroom if you need to go to the loo ample parking spaces.

An exclusive feature is the enchanting Chinese garden, a paid attraction where a nominal fee of $500 for adults and $200 for children grants access to a unique cultural experience. Hope Garden Botanical is a harmonious blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and affordability, making it a must-visit destination in Jamaica.

Jamaica Orchid Society annual show was really good..Reasonably priced orchids for all pockets..lots of giveaways and surprises.

Peaceful location to hang with family or friends. Adequate seating is provided with gazebos available throughout. The location has seen a few upgrades in the last 2 years, so if it's been I while I'd recommend you visit.

Great park, clean and very spacious old landmark in Jamaica it is one of the two zoos in Jamaica and a great location for picknics,bunch, birthday party and much more. It hold a good history of Jamaica culture.

The place was peaceful and calm wonderful site to keep events. ✨

Awesome Sunday afternoon stroll…

This was one of the most beautiful places I've visited. ❤A lot of beautiful trees as well as the atmosphere is fresh and nice. It is perfect for a family picnic, a gathering, wedding pictures and more.

Lovely open park with gazebos, fountains, mazes, archways and pathways to enjoy the serene and relaxing environment to unwind in the heart of the hustle and bustle. Great place to picnic and have family outings in wide open spaces.

We loved this place! Natural gardens are always a must for us wherever we go, and Hope Royal didn't disappoint. The park has a wide variety of flowers and other plants, all set up in a thoughtful way. Lots of wide open areas so people could do whatever they wanted without bumping into a large amount of people.

NATURE IS JUST BEAUTIFUL!, Yes I had to shout. Hope Gardens is a site that I have been visiting as a Child and it hasn't lost its beauty. I was invited to a wedding and Man O Man they couldn't have chosen a better place to host this event. Talk about everything at one location its was like walking into a candy store on sale day. From the ceremony to the Cocktails to the reception,and it well like we were on a private plantation... and if you know Hope Gardens you know that other patrons were there and was no disturbance the whole atmosphere was exquisite.. Take me back plzzzzz. I will let the pictures fill in the blanks 🥰🥰

Beautiful grounds that is well kept. The trees are old and labeled for inquiry. Most of the benches are clean and garbage not present.

Security is not present until closer to opening time but visible are exercise folks enjoying their routines and outdoors.

Just beautiful! Great Park to bring the little ones. Lots of green space for babies to crawl around and older children to play. Balls are allowed as well as scooters, bicycles etc. Several gazebos available for group meetings and huge trees provide adequate shading. The zoo is close by and a plant nursery with many options are affordable prices. There is also the newly built Chinese gardens. Awesome for a relaxing family afternoon.

I went to the Peace Garden, it was a wonderful experience.

A places of beauty and one of the many places in Jamaican you can go with friends and be one with nature. A family friendly place. Suitable for keeping picnics and memorable events. There is also a zoo when you can talk the kids to see amazing and beautiful animals of different shapes and sizes and a Chinese Botanical Garden. It is advisable that you carry food. However, a restaurant is there is you feel for a hot cooked meal, a snack shop and a Reggae Jammin vendor to serve you. Come by, bring friends, bring the family.

Hope Gardens is very scenic and the home to our most delicate flora and fauna. The natural garden is good for runs, events, picnics and other quiet, calm and relaxing adventures. The space is really big as such you'll have your own little private area. It is well kept, bathrooms are available and a little snack area can be located on the premises to enter the zoo section.

We had an awesome time and we do hope you and yours will enjoy the serenity as well!

Fantastic natural experience. Be sure to see the Chinese garden. There's a small fee for that part ($500 for adults, 200 for kids) when I visited but its definitely worth it
