Conad - Supermarket

A decent size supermarket. I went looking for shampoo and a conditioner but didn’t get what I wanted. I wish they stalk more variety in shampoos. However, I ended up buying a lot of other stuff.

One of only a few legit grocery stores in the area. If you are self catering, they have a good deli counter plus all the snack items. Better prices.

recently had the pleasure of visiting this superb supermarket in Rome, and I couldn't be more delighted with my experience. As a tourist on my last day in Italy, I was on the lookout for a place where I could find a wide selection of Italian snacks, treats, and wine to bring back home. Cleanliness is paramount, and I must commend the management for maintaining a high standard in this regard. Despite the large number of customers and the constant bustling activity, the supermarket was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It added to the overall pleasant shopping experience.

One of the standout aspects of this supermarket is the attentive staff. Despite the language barrier, the employees went above and beyond to assist me. Even though they didn't speak English, they made an effort to understand my needs and provide me with the necessary guidance. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home, and I greatly appreciated their willingness to help.

What pleasantly surprised me was the affordability of the products. Given the size and variety of the supermarket, I half-expected inflated prices. However, I was delighted to find that the prices were fair and reasonable. It allowed me to indulge in a wide range of delectable treats without breaking the bank.

Overall, my visit to this supermarket was nothing short of fantastic. It truly made my last day in Italy memorable by offering a one-stop destination for all my Italian snacking and wine needs. I highly recommend this supermarket to fellow travelers and locals alike who are seeking a diverse selection of high-quality products, exceptional cleanliness, attentive staff, and affordable prices. Great grocery store with wide variety of food and non-food products for affordable prices.
Fresh fruit, pastries, bread and olives were our favourites. A definite shopping experience improvement when comparing to the small privately owned stores across Rome.
Helpful staff that speak English.

Conad products are excellent, often better value than the famous brands. The staff are friendly, and the opening hours are incredible!! To be able to shop after work without worrying about time is acreal treat. Thank you to all of the staff who work so hard. You are greatly appreciated!!

The deli counter guys were very patient and helpful to us on Christmas eve trying to get some deli goods for travel lunches the next day.... fun rabbit tunnel of a place. Looking forward to shopping there again.

Tiny store but I’m very thankful to have found it open on a Sunday. It’s a rarity to find anything open on a Sunday in Rome so this was very helpful. Even though it’s small it has many options in food and wine/beer as well.

Conad is ubiquitous in Italy, it is everywhere and for good reason, it is really a good store with a wide variety of food items. I went to Conad today to stock up on packets of diffrrent dry soups for the chilly days coming, and also perfect if you're not feeling well or tired, just boil water, mix in the dry soup and you have a nutritious delicious meal, add some crusty Italian bread or Integrale crackers. Conad also sells boxes of various liquid soup flavors, just open and heat up. Packets or boxes offer shelf life in your pantry so you have it when you need it, and with so many different flavors you will have tasty soup to enjoy.
