Delicious food and very good service. Easily one of the best pastas I have had in rome. Ended up asking the waitress for recommendations and she really cared to help get us the best dish. Can recommend

One of the oldest and best restaurants in Rome. A must go destination if you visit Rome. Great traditional food, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere. Mandatory reservation.

Beautiful outside dining and they were wonderful with catering to our gluten-free needs.

Riccardo our server who hailed from the Tuscany region was the best. Riccardo was very patient and took the time to understand our dietary requirements, explained everything in detail, and double checked our concerns with the chef/kitchen.

Amazing food, simple and delicious and not expensive: I paid 26€ for a bottle of water, a fried zucchini flower, veal with tomato sauce and potatoes, and a tiramisu (that is the best one I've ever had).
Service isn't great or the most friendly but it's ok. They speak some English and have an English menu if needed.
Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something local. Best to make reservations; even on a Wednesday evening the place was full.

Simple, delicious, traditional, fresh, respect to the products this is how I would describe the food in Antico Falcone. You do not need complicated dishes and plenty of fantasy to maintain high levels and great taste. Compliments to everyone who works here. Service was absolutely fantastic, everyone was so nice and fast! The portions are well balanced and the same goes for the prices. Awesome place! Thank you for a great 🍽👍

We would like to honestly recommend this place. Lovely food and even more lovely stuff made our day. We enjoyed great wine and family atmosphere of this restaurant. It was pleasure to find this place. Hopefully someday we will come back.

Best carbonara pasta in whole Rome. Appetizers were also good and at the end a well deserved tiramisu. Staff was very nice, we did not reserve a table but after 10 min they found us a table. Prices not that high as you see on the crowded street of Rome.

Wonderful meal and service. We did not have a reservation but the staff graciously made a space for us on a busy Saturday night. Our server gave us excellent recommendations on their can’t miss true Roman dishes, even some off menu items that were truly amazing. It is a special place that I hope to be able to visit again soon. This place is the real deal. It's totally worth the taxi drive there. Locally owned and super friendly/helpful staff.

Everything went well, we enjoyed the food and the service. Besides that, the tiramisu I had here was the best I've ever had anywhere!

My wife and I had an amazing dinner here and although our Italian is very limited and we didn't have a reservation they found us a table and took amazing care of us. The cacio e pepe was delicious as well as the panna cotta at the end.

I cannot explain how good this place is. It was my second time in Rome. Our Italian friend recommended the place.

We had Fiori di zucca and baccala as appetizers. My husband had bistecca, I had vitella con patate, and my son had carbonara.For desert we ordered pannacotta ai frutti di bosco and tiramisu.
This is the best food we ate in Rome so far! The place is clean and the servers are fast and amicable.

Great authentic restaurant in old building. Where Romains go. Typical romain food. Great place recommended by locals !! Fantastic home made pasta and typical Roman food. Few tables outside in front of metcato Triomfale. Daily changing menu and some other regular dishes. Good choice of wines.

Old style traditional Italian eatery filled (literally not an empty seat on a Sunday night) with locals and regulars - We were the ONLY non-Italians in the place which says a lot given the choices in the area. The food and service were outstanding and this to me was the closest to "do as the romans do" on our trip. Antico is booked solid almost every day so you'd better plan ahead but it is worth the trip. A little history of the family on the menu tells you everything you need to know - Owned by the Strozzi family since 1400, and the building declared a national monument in 1935.

Among other things, we tried the Carbonara (the sauce was rich and velvety), the saltimbocca (done to perfection), fried zucchini flowers (delicious) and the roasted lamb!.

Top 1 out of 4 carbonaras I’ve tried this far definitely would recommend if you want some authentic Italian dishes… I would recommend getting the house wine!
