La Rustichella

The food is amazing here. On my next trip to Rome, I'll eat here again.

This place is very busy with groups, especially Asian tourists, which in my opinion is a good sign as they are efficient and fast with service and food as well. As individuals we got better cutlery, tablecloth and napkins and in the time we had our easy lunch, two groups of cca 30 people made it with 3 course menu... I would not call it fine dining but it's advertised as such, it's an Italian "diner" if that is somehow translatable...

Seafood Risotto was ridiculously delicious and on point, Pasta Pomodoro superb, lamb chops out of this world....

Simply the best! From the pasta to the seafood, from appetizer to dessert. Authentic cuisine. I love their mussels in both red and white sauce. Their carciofi romana and alla giudia are some of the best in town! Service is excellent. Prices are very reasonable. What more could you ask for? See you again next May!

Local place with great food… the house special seafood risotto was fabulous, spicy with perfectly cooked seafood. The pizzas are super thin & also really tasty, price was very reasonable for rome

A traditional and quiet restaurant with lots of good service ..The owner greeted us with his smile .. Our menu had a pallet of sausages, mix grilled meats and seafood risotto ala creme ... we tasted an Italian red wine with nice taste ... Good prices and fast service..

My wife and I loved this place! The service was great, very friendly. The food we had was amazing. My wife had the ravioli which was about 4" squares. I had the lasagna, which was unlike anything I've ever had. The lasagna is only available on certain days though. If you're in the area and hungry, you should check them out!

One of the best food in Rome. Maybe look is not the best but food is one of the best. I recommend everyone! Very good food and nice service. I recommend it 🥹

We had multiple courses and multiple drinks, the pricing is excellent, the staff are extremely helpful and they actually do wait on you.

Me and the wife found ourselves here every single night without fail purely due to the friendly staff and not being seen as a bill come the end of our meal.

Could not recommend La Rustichella enough, go and see for yourselves!!! I promise you won’t regret it.

As Italian born I'm pretty fussy about pasta. This was the best I have had in Brisbane. There are traditional choices as well as modern twists. Highly recommended if you are wanting a nice plate of pasta

This little hidden gem is located right behind the Vatican City wall. The food was amazing! Best we've had all week. The service was great, they spoke English which was very nice of them because they don't have to. I would go back there in a heart beat! Prices were good too. I read some reviews from people that were not satisfied and honestly I could not understand where the negativity came from. Seriously. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed! Freshly made house pasta cooked to perfection. My very picky 8yr old ate more in one evening there than he did all week elsewhere! Thank you La Rustichella for an unforgettable last meal in Rome!

So I just had the best spaghetti and meatballs! It was exquisite, reasonable prices and great service.

I eat here at least once a week. The staff are great and delightfully classic in their waiting style. It is very inexpensive but the food has always been wholesome. I regularly have the Bruschetta Pommodoro starter - wonderful drizzled in oil with a dash of salt. Very typical Roman.

My family and I recently stayed in Rome and ate at La Rustichella three times while there. The food was delicious, with quite generous portions and our waiter, Gregory, was superb! We never ran out of food or beverage until we were ready for our checks. I highly recommend this restaurant; try it and you won't leave disappointed! Oh, and be sure to ask for their spinach ravioli! It tastes like angels dancing on your tongue! :)
