Our concierge recommended this to us because we wanted a local, low key dinner, and it completely delivered. The food was great and the older gentleman waiting on us, who I assumed was the owner was so nice to us and gave us great recommendations on what to order. The setting was quiet and romantic. We'll definitely eat here again when we return to Rome.

I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant. My family and I loved it so much we came back for dinner the following evening. The ambiance is lovely and so immaculately clean. The food is quintessential Roman cuisine cooked to perfection. Our favorites the Cacio E Pepe, Ravioli butter parmigiana sage sauce,
Vegetable bechamel lasagna, but there is much more and the deserts are scrumptious from the panacotta to the Neapolitans and gelato …….all outstanding! And if you are really lucky you will have Viola as your server…she is a delight with her welcoming smile and outgoing personality. Buon Appetito!

I went to Peppone, an old school restaurant in Rome, and it was incredible.

The food was delicious and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was also very cozy and inviting.

I highly recommend checking it out if you're ever in Rome.

Stopped here for a quick lunch after our original reservations fell through at another restaurant. Ordered the caprese + fresh tomatoes, spaghetti carbonara + Bucatini All'amatriciana. Good service & tasty🥰

This has been my favorite restaurant in Rome. A lovely atmosphere, delicious food and the owner and family adorable people. I miss it as I don’t live in Rome anymore but will go back hopefully in the near future.

Lowkey restaurant near a lot of hotels and Villa Borghese, with one of the better spaghetti CARBONARA around. We were recommended by our hotel concierge and were left very impressed. We also tried the Stracceti di manzo con calciofi e mentuccia (beef slices with artichoke and mint leaves) which is a very interesting local regional dish.

We were recommended here by our hotel concierge. We were a little reluctant given some bad reviews. We had an excellent dining experience from start to finish with the service and the food. It was a close walk from our hotel and we enjoyed the meal. I had eggplant Parmesan and a chicken dish. My husband had linguini and clams and veal saltimboca. Would return.

Lovely white table cloth restaurant. Beautiful decor, check out the floors. So clean, great service. We just walked in and we’re seated. Tripe was fantastic, I had the grilled salmon! That was a treat after all the pasta I have been eating. Chocolate soufflé with a hint of orange. A nice change from all the noise and bustle. Obviously local, business men and couples. Really romantic at night I suspect. Great service. We would go back on our next trip. Wait until you see the marble staircase going down to the ladies room!

Fabrizio and the entire team are fantastic and make you feel right at home. The food is always delicious, perfect and wonderful. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting while classic to Rome. We dine here multiple times on each visit to the enchanted city.

My partner’s grandparents live across the street and this is their go-to place. They do all the Roman and seasonal staples excellent (gricia, carbonara, amatriciana, carciofi, etc).

Service is Italian standard, food is not expensive considering the location. You can likely get a table without a reservation. I strongly recommend a coffee once you’re done eating.

Great food, mostly classic Roman dishes. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly service. Not overloaded with Americans and doesn’t feel like their main goal is to rush tourists through. Slightly more expensive then others but absolutely worth it. Very close to the Westin and Marriott on Via Veneto.

Higher than average price but the food and service was far better. We had a fabulous meal. Highly recommend this place for traditional Roman food. It was a great, relaxing evening.

Comfortable place to enjoy delicious pasta and meats along with a nice selection of wine. Reasonably priced. Last dinner we had in Rome before heading home. Thanks for a great meal.

Best meal we had in Italy. Oxbow fell off the bone. Uni spaghetti was delicious. Asparagus risotto was perfect. Wine list and recommendations were great - had a dry lambrusco for just 24. Highly recommend!!

If you want to experience good Roman cuisine this is the place. The staff is welcoming, the ambiance is warm, comfortable and quiet, a great place to relax and unwind after a long day of site seeing. 👍👍👍👍

Very good food. When you ask for Spaghetti aglio, olio and peperoncino, you want something simple, but traditional. This is the place where I ate the best of it, ever. For me, their secret is in those thinest slices of garlic, which came out crispy in the end. Don't miss Peppone.
