Typical Roman cuisine. The best carbonara pasta I ever ate, by far! Portions are very generous as well! A must when in Rome… make sure to make a reservation!

Simply best restaurant that I have visited in Rome. Great taste difficult to beat this restaurant, variety of dishes, beautiful interior ambiance, fast and friendly service. Really deserve to be rated as 5 stars restaurant. Next time I will take as many photo as possible.

Best pasta I ever had in my life. Freshly made and quality chosen over quantity. Still the dish was way enough for one person. Loved the service too, great clerks to speak with.

First of all get a reservation, it’s very easy on the website. We made ours just hours before. The staff was very sweet and kind with patience for our lack of Italian. We had the artichoke Roman style and fried appetizer plate, each one was delicious and unique it had 4 rice balls, stuffed & batter fried squash flower & a piece of fried cod. That was enough food for both of us but we also ordered the saltimbocca & Cacio e Pepe with octopus. The octopus was so tender and delicious. It was great but too much for 2 people. This was the best meal of my Roma visit. We ate on the patio and it was toasty warm and nice. The waiter was there when you needed him. They even had non-alcoholic wine.

Went there for dinner and I love it! We had carbonara, bufalino pizza and some stir fry meat dish with cabernet franc. They were all amazing. Our server Roman was superb, very helpful and friendly. I love his recommendations and great vibes for a place that was opened since 1940. Definitely a must visit in Rome!

All our family follow la Villetta 1940 from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 and finally last Monday we went to eat disappointed that the L’oste not was there. Antipasti was delicious from the meatballs with tomato and the meatballs with carbonara sauce, carciofi amazing and the fritto misto absolutely Devine.
Pasta amatriciana and the carbonara delicious. Wine good as well. Very good customer service. Thanks for the hospitality.

Absolutely amazing place and must visit while in Rome, food is just out of this world. Famous for their pasta but I recommend to try the different starters too. Just a hint, pasta portions are huge and one portion is more than enough for 2 people. Will definitely be back

Superb blend of authentic and fusion-Italian dishes. The antipasti probably worth considering as a meal on its own. Service was good, and the prices reasonable given its location. But the food was pretty sensational! Will definitely be back

Here you can find all the cornerstones of the traditional Roman cuisine. Pasta is amazing, just be aware that portions are massive. Definitely recommended.

One of my fav places in Rome. The portions are big so be careful to not fill yourself completely with starters -which is hard cuz they are amazing (don’t miss mozzarella di bufala with truffle, focaccia cacio e pepe…). 😍

Please go for lunch or dinner, this place is amazing , for anybody that what to taste the Roman tradition.

Best pasta I have ever eaten by far, the gnocchi was also great! Nice workes and good service, felt very authentic since the english was not very good, but it worked out well anyways.

Carbonara was to die for!! And the portions were SUPER generous for the price. Really lovely authentic dinner.
