Absolutely loved this place. Family business near Ponte Sisto and Palazzo Spada.

We had a delisious steak with potatoes, beans and salad. The steak was fresh and perfectly cooked. We didn't have pasta but the portions looked generous.

I think I was also the only tourist there. Everyone else was at least Italian if not Roman.

This place is such a gem to find in Rome, great food and service at a really reasonable price. Will definitely visit again next time in Rome!

1. Big enough mussel size
2. Clam spaghetti is super nice
3. Carbonana is little dry, but it is typical style in italy

all foods are nice! Best one i tried in Rome

Delicious pasta alla gricia, one of the best I've had in Rome. Pleasant atmosphere and lovely quiet and cozy setting.

This place was recommended by an Italian colleague.
First time I visited 2 priest and a policeman where having lunch, which confirmed it was not a tourist trap, despite its very central location.
Usually a mix of locals and tourists.
The food is really tasty and prices are affordable, expect 20/25€ per person.
They got a very nice carbonara.
The meat is also worthy.

Sitio auténtico en el centro de Roma. Comida rica y a buen precio. Frecuentado por italianos.

This was our favorite restaurant we tried in Rome. Right around the corner from Campo de Fiori, it was less than two blocks from our AirBnb. We were there Friday night at the end of our trip and loved it so much we came back the next night (last dinner in Rome!). Not touristy, filled with locals, fantastic pasta and wine, sweet servers that can barely understand English... What more could you want?

Love this tiny little restaurant near Campo di Fiori. Quaint unpretentious, friendly service. One if my favorite places for real Roman dishes. Try the Arrostincini.

Nice and non turistic place. It's a must be on your list if you look for a traditional Italian cusine.
P.S.
They serve Daily made gnocchi only on Thursday's - they're amazing!

Recommended by local Italian friends and we were loved it! Small authentic place with a small but very well done menu. The Amatriciana is fantastic!

We ordered a steak for 4 pax (1.2 kg), and it was delicious. They took us to the kitchen so that we could indicate how big we wanted the steak. We had it with wine and a few side dishes, it was a perfect meal for a friendly price. The ambiance feels very local and down to earth. They don't have all the dishes on the menu, but perhaps that is to make sure that what they have is fresh! Would definitely return.

Authentic Italian family food. There were 12 of us, so we pretty much tried everything. Limited menu, but everything was absolutely delicious. Owners Stefania and Angelo have been there 40 years. Prices were modest: figure €15-20 with wine for dinner.

Fantastic experience. Wonderfully light pizza base and a truly Italian experience even down to the grandparents feeding the grandchildren!

This was by far the best place we ate at during our three days in Rome. The people working didn't seem to know English well but our Italian was just good enough for them to understand us. It took us a while to get our check but we were fine with it because it seemed there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant and it was reasonably busy.

The best carbonara and amatriciana my boyfriend and I have eaten. The sauces were perfect (you get lots of bread to clean it up with after the pasta is gone which is awesome!) and the pasta cooked to al dente perfection! The antipasti plate is worth getting also as it is very good value and everything that came on it was fresh and delicious. it came across as a very traditional place - a few locals getting their favourites and I think the staff were a little wary of tourists but if you make an effort, they will too. The wine came out of a tap, from a barrel which was delightful to see! Cosy, cute place in the backstreets of Rome that I hope I will be able to visit again some day...

Da Sergio was recommended to me by my Airbnb hosts whose family have been in Rome for many generations. They said this was the place to have authentic home-style, delicious Roman food. I went for appertivo and had the cacio e pepe, which was my favorite dish I had on my entire trip to Italy. They’ll serve you half-dishes in case you want to try multiple.

This a classic no frills trattoria. Keep it simple and come here for the cacio e pepe, carbonara and go home happy. If you're looking to be more adventurous, go down the street to Roscioli. This place does the classics and it does them well. Been coming here for years and it's always good, with no tourist bs or overpriced items that make no sense, seasonally. You'll be telling people about the carbonara until you come back for more!
