Delicious, creamy carbonara with truffle. The best one I had and tripa ala romana is also cook to perfection. Pizza was just ok. Great service, lot wine selections and indoor & outdoor sitting is available.

I wanted to try a different dish and I am glad I did! I got Spaghetti alla Gricia and it was soooo good 😍 this dish is Rome exclusive and I am sad I couldn’t get it in Naples, where I am currently at🥲

One of the best amatriciana. Home made, pasta, sauce incredibly tasty, staff nice, funny, welcoming. It is located in a small and cozy street offering beautiful atmosphere without noise, crowds of people.

We shared the artichoke, ricotta with honey and pistachios, and melanzine parmigiana with a bottle of Montefalco Rosso. The best food we've had in Roma! Great service too. Thank you... So delicious!

Was unsure from trip advisor review but overall was a great experience. The Spaghetti alla gricia dish and pizza were fantastic. Also did a gluten free version which was just as good.

Great food for very acceptable prices.. Located in the Trastevere part of Roma, offers a real Italian experience. We were lucky for getting a table as soon as we arrived, the waiters were very polite and the food was really tastefull. We had artichokes in two ways - fried (giudia) and stuffed (Romana) for starters, and afterwards Bucatini amatriciana and Spaghetti alla gricia. We would for sure come back for another round.

A lovely place for lunch. The service was warm and welcoming, even though I didn't speak Italian. It's located in a quiet street, so it's pleasant to eat at the terrace outside. I ate the gnocchi, it was nice but a bit to salty for my taste.
The wine was excellent. With my café I got a complimentary limoncello, witch was nice

First dinner in Rome - we were really lucky! Gnocchi was delicious and rich in flavour, the Amatriciana was excellent and the Tiramisu was to die for! Don't skip dessert even you're full; it's really light.

Food was very delicious, staff was amazing. Music could be a bit more related to the rest of the restaurant. It was playing some electronic loud music. If it was some Italian retro or just nice easy Italian music, it would be better. I saw a couple who sat down, but left because they did not like the music.

The wine list is extensive and overshadows the food. The price ranges from affordable to the extreme. One downside would be you do have to buy the bottle but it is served with flair. Brilliant experience.

The owner speaks english. Genuine help. I was guided by my Italian friend to this place. I tried pasta that I had no idea what it is. All I know was it's delicious. Anyhow they are very friendly at the place. Very lovely

The waiter was very helpful with the suggestions. We ordered Tonnarelli cacio e pepe & Tonnarelli amatriciana, he offered to make it half and half so we can try both.
The food and was good and the prices were reasonable.

Best pasta in Trastevere, made in situ. As simple as Italian cuisine can get. Delicious.

I came here with my family for a late lunch. The surrounding area of Trastevere is very colourful and is an old-school traditional, narrow street, cobble-stoned Mediterranean look.

I ordered the Cacio e Pepe with truffles and honestly it is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had.

The creamy cheese sauce combined with the thick noodles and the grated truffles on top was excellent. Whilst all the individual flavours are strong, when combined they give such a subtle flavour that doesn't go overboard with the taste.

We sat outside as the weather was sunny with a cool breeze and good shade and with the great food, I couldn't ask for more.

If you have come to Rome for great food and a traditional Mediterranean style ambiance, then Cacio e Pepe in Trastevere is highly recommended.

Traditional place with a modern touch. The only thing left is to go for portions and maintain them so that it is a 10. The menu is for lunch or dinner.
