Fantastic Roman tasting and Lazio wine pairings! We did the traditional Roman tasting and 5 wine pairing, and the Honor to the fifth quarter tasting with 4 wine pairings. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, and the service was great. One of the best meals we have had in our travels across Italy the last few weeks.

Hard to get reservations especially during Rome’s busy months. But the food and service are amazing. Antipasti choices were creative and delicious. Homemade pastas and gnocchi were particularly excellent. After dinner, take a walk around the island to soak up the quaint atmosphere

Such a cozy, authentic place. The food was great, the staff was super friendly. Not much to say, it’s just absolutely lovely and well worth the wait.

The food was really incredible in this trattoria! Also the portions have a very good size, we were really stuffed with the full menu. All the dishes were very tasty and had the traditional Roman recipes. Also the staff was very friendly and always nice to make the experience for us as good as possible. I would definetely recommend this trattoria when you are in Rome!

Came to visit out of the country from Canada that we were highly recommended. The antipasto, the pasta and the wine they served was spectacular! Very nice unpretentious vibe and delicious fresh food!
The place also has amazing view outside.
Will definitely be back next time in Rome!!

Hands down the Best little gem in Rome. Super time, food and service worth every euro. Great tasting menu with wine pairing to complement the taste of Rome. Fresh made to order with a smile and personalized service. Highly recommend to all visitors to the City of Roma . Ciao !!!

An institution in Rome, famed by its emblematic initial owner Elena Fabrizi (aka 'La sora Lella') who was also actress.
The business is family run since then (50's). Everything from bread to dessert is delicious.
In my opinion they excel in pasta whether a classic or a twisted classic like cacio e pepe freshen by a bit of mint, i do not think you can be disappointed.

Definitely the best pasta we had in town. Very welcoming staff and which paid attention to details. It's pricey, but it's worthy. One small issue with a spicy pasta for one of the kids was solved fast and without further questions. When I'll go back to Rome I'll go there again

It's a historical pace and with a famous name in Rome. Worth a visit at least.

Truly awesome food. Super delicious. E tried small portions of almost every dish and oh my god what a taste. What a taste. Just incredible. And let me tell you about the deserts. OH MY GOD. The tiramisu is seriously the best one I have had in my entire life. And the location of the restaurant is perfect. On the island on thr middle of the Tibet River. Right in the center. Highly recommended.

I loved it! An amazing restaurant, in an incredible location! I had probably the best carbonara of my life! A proposito, sò de Roma, so quello che dico! My grandmother tried a dish of gnocchi all'amatriciana... She has 90 years old and she doesn't like nothing... Nothing but that gnocchi!

Denise and Linda were spot on with our entire experience, providing unparalleled service. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed until close and had a great opportunity to talk to the chef. I'd highly recommend reservations. This was the closest Tiramisu I've had since spending summers on the Adriatic side of Italy as a kid. Dinner is very traditional Roman food and the restaurant has a long history of being a local favorite!

My favorite dish was Cannolicchi all'a Mattacchiona. We would also highly recommend the Meatballs!!! So tender and tasty. We are still dreaming about our return visit and will order a double appetizer portion. The Gnocchi all'a Matriciana were so pillowing and perfectly sauced. We cleaned our plates with the bread and almost licked our fingers it was all so delicious!

Best food experience in Rome, Cacio e Pepe, made with local pecorino cheese and freshly ground black pepper, is a must on any trip to Rome.
Also Roman style tripe with tomato sauce flavored with mint and pecorino cheese is a very flavorful dish.

My wife and I dined with Tonnarelli alla Cuccagna and Cacio e Pepe: what a treat!

Make sure you reserve well in advance, placing a call in the morning before lunch service.

Amazing restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation, but you won't regret checking out this cute restaurant. I had osso bucco and it was incredible.

Great service and excellent food and wine as expected from a restaurant that is over half century old, on a little river island full of history.
We enjoyed a Cacio e Pepe and a baccala with amazing mashed potatoes.
