A family run restaurant, and the portion size here is a lot larger than most restaurants in Italy. As for the price for each entree, it is not as inflated as others restaurants.
We also notice that this place do have their regular locals, so you know it is more legit. One thing you all must try is their Tiramisu, best I've ever had! Place was so good we visited this place twice

A real Rome institution this place is treat. It's been serving great Italian food for 50+ years. Fantastic service and many special dishes to choose from. If you are in Rome don't miss this place.

Recommended by our hotel for seafood dishes. Safe to say it was worth the recommendation.
The shrimp in guacamole was amazing and not a combination I thought would work so good together.
As a main I had the linguine with clams and scampi. It was also very good, the sauce had a little bit of spice to it which worked really well.
First time trying clams, and sadly not to my liking. But that’s obviously on me and not the restaurant.
The waiter we had was also really nice and helpful with our decisions on what to eat.
Felt really bad for not eating all of
my food, but I was too full.

Incredible. The meal that made us go "THIS is Rome!" We stopped in for lunch on our way to Galleria Borghese from the Roma Termini area. We ordered the cacio e pepe and inquired about their fish options. The waiter recommended a sea bream with potatoes which was not on the menu. The waiter brought out the fish and potatoes on the tray it was cooked in and carved up the fish right at our table. After carving the fish, the waiter made a great joke of taking away the fish we had been drooling over, making us both laugh! It may look simple, but the flavor was exemplary. The fish was mild, not fishy at all. Paired perfectly with the salty and soft potatoes. The cacio e pepe was bursting with flavor, a lovely contrasting dish. They also brought bread and a lovely spicy crouton to the table. We passed on dessert but they brought out a bowl of simple sugared biscuits anyway. Perfect with the espresso we ordered after we tried them. The wait staff were great fun and the food was the best of the best. Ristorante da Vincenzo sets an incredibly high bar!

Had a wonderful time here last night. The mussels and octopus starters were delicious and the panna cotta was incredible. The service was the highlight. The whole place is family run and everyone is extremely inviting.

I have a passion for food cooking and eating out I'd been told by so many people don't eat at the main restaurants go down the side streets for the best food. It was also told to us by a tour guide if you have a view you're paying for that not the food armed with this information I was on a mission and wow did I find it. The hotel Leon's Place recommend the restaurant 20 seconds walk around the corner from our hotel other guests had also been and gone back again so we gave it a go. This restaurant is out of the centre with 9 outdoor tables undercover and more seating inside. It was established in 1972 by a man and his wife they had a son and daughter who now also works with Mama and Papa in the family run business for 44 years. I was absolutely over the moon to be serviced by Mama this cute little old lady couldn't speak English very well but I think she knew I was enjoying her wonderful food. I got one thing I came to Rome for the perfect family traditional Italian cuisine. Hostaria da Vincenzo, Via Castelfidardo, 6, 00185 Roma, Italy ❤🍝🍨

The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had, just 5 euros! Very reasonable cost on everything! The sea bass was simple, yet cooked to perfection and full of flavor, that was the wife’s fav @ 15 euros it’s a steal, we had 2 servings of it. The lobster linguini was delicious. The seafood salad, at the suggestion of my waiter, was an ensemble of samples of 4 types of dishes, was my favorite dish.....it had octopus which I’ve never tried b4 and it was flat out amazing, and a beautiful presentation not a shred of food was left on that plate or any plates for that matter. I wouldn’t recommend any other spot for dinner downtown, the place was packed, and no problem speaking English. The owner greets you at the door and seats you. His wife and dad and family all work there. Such a great treat to come there from the USA and enjoy a TRUE Italian family owned restaurant business with fantastic food, reasonable prices, plus great family made wine was only 6 euros a glass! Bellisimo, delizioso. A true gem, the chef really understands flavor profile and adds acidic elements to fresh seafood to take the flavor beyond your imagination of what seafood is at most any place you’ve ever tried seafood.

Our tour guide Giuseppe took us to this place after a long day of touring Roma. I had the Carbonara and my wife had a Fettuccini with Zucchini and Shrimp I believe. The carbonara here was the best carbonara I have ever had in my life. I am not sure I can ever eat it again anywhere else.

A genuine Roman restaurant. We asked the bar tender at our hotel where he eats and he enthusiastically pointed us here. We came expecting a family restaurant for locals and that's exactly what we got: a simple ambiance, friendly staff, and fantastic homemade Roman cuisine at a great price. Portions are sized for about 2, so order to share and plan on dessert!

Family restaurant by the road, with simple and dated furniture. You would not bet a penny on it passing by. We went in as we were in a rush and it was busy. Food was simple but well cooked and if good quality - we tried both fresh fish and pastas. Nothing spectacular but a solid good meal and good value for money.
