This was an amazing experience! Great food, company and wine- what more can you ask for? Our driver took us here on a day trip and it was on of the highlights of the trip! Food and wine were excellent and the guide was very professional!

Amazing lunch! Signor K. was our waiter and he was exceptional. He was gracious and spoke both in Italian and English. He made the experience lovely. We had the wild boar pasta and the tagliere/charcuterie with a wine tasting. Views are stunning!!!

The highlight of our trip was this place.
We got a recommendation by a local store to come here. We were very happy with the wine tasting, friendly and kind staff. Food and wine were amazing!!
We were also able to make new friends from Brazil and Malta that shared the same table during the meal!

Also a beautiful place for pictures 😍

This place is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the ties to NY! History is so fascinating to me.

The wine tour was well worth it to see this stunning property alone.

The wine was perfectly paired with small snacks. My absolute favorite was the balsamic vinegar 😋 12/10 must try and buy a bottle to bring home!

Their wine tasting is great! Caterina was the sweetest guide and Giulia was also very nice and helpful. The castle’s wine are very good, we took two bottles home and their balsamic is ohhh very nice. I recommend doing their wine tasting and if you can, do it with the food pairing as well.

We had an amazing experience, we took the full lunch experience and the tour was really nice, Caterina was the one leading the tour and she was extremely attentive. The food and the wine were spectacular.

We were a group of 12 adults and took a private winery tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience—beautiful scenic views. The wine is excellent, and they even ship it to the US. We ended up ordering over 36 bottles from them. If you are visiting, try the hor de vours and the balsamic vinegar. Recommended!!

We were lucky that the place is open on 26 Dec as most wineries only reopen on 28 Dec. The wine tour was extremely fun and interesting. The guide brought us around (around 30 mins) and we learnt about the history of the place, the area, Chianti Classico (vs Chianti). View from the place was absolutely stunning as well.

Ended the tour with the wine tasting which comes with 3 glasses of red wine, bread with olive oil, cheese and balsamic vinegar. Everything was great but the balsamic vinegar was definitely the highlight. Loved this place!

We booked the wine tour and tasting for 2 adults and our 3 young kids at 10:30am. Catarina was our guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We were in group of about 10, we were the only ones with kids and we felt included and welcomed. The tour was the perfect amount of time, it kept everyone engaged and we were able to see some of the wine making process along with the balsamic vinegar.
Afterwards we went to the tasting room and we’re able to taste 3 red wines and their balsamic on cheese (never had it this way and it was incredible). I highly recommend visiting and if you have young kids, don’t let that detour you from a stop.

My only recommendation would be for the property to think about offering a juice or something of the sort for the kids. You have to pay half price for kids 4 and older so a small glass of juice while the parents tasted would be appreciated. Water is provided at the table along with bread and olive oil.

AMAZING experience! We loved strolling the gardens, cellars and homestead. The guide was very informative about the wine making process, vineyards and history of the property and its owners. We highly rate the olive oil and balsamic vinegar that is also produced here! And ofcourse the wine was amazing!

Everyone was kind.
(Also, I would suggest walking to the castello, as the scenery is beautiful)

We really enjoyed our experience at Castello di Verrazzano. We opted for the little guided tour (a little less than an hour) followed by wine tasting and full lunch. Price for package was fair, food was great and wine was delicious. One of the better wine tours in the area, definitely recommended

Visited during our trip through Tuscany. We randomly stopped here and didn’t have reservations but the staff was incredibly kind to accommodate us….even though it was close to their closing time. Even the owner stopped by to greet us….such a humble and friendly person! The wines were fabulous and the ambiance was just incredible. One of the most memorable experiences of our trip! Definitely on our list for our next Italy trip.

We scheduled a full tour with wine tasting and light lunch at Verrazano. This was with about 12 other people. The tour was about 45 minutes and was very extensive taking you through the history of the property and owner as well as the wine making process. All of the wine was delicious and they served it with a lovely pairing (their light lunch). I would highly recommend visiting this winery. They are much larger than some of the other wineries we visited which provided another great but different experience. Highly recommend booking online ahead of time!

Amazing history and chianti wines. We experienced the tour prior to some beautiful food and wines to match. It is simply amazing and would highly recommend it👌

Amazing winery, delicious wine, stunning views, good choice of wine and cheese. We were in normal Wine tour for 24 EUR. It was super curious, and 3 types of wine are amazing. I loved it. We've got there by bus, but it's a pretty difficult road from bus to the winery by walking (it's going up, it's baking, but the views are just amazing!). Of course going by car is the best way.
Highly recommend!

Stunning winery, amazing lunch and most importantly, wonderful Chianti wines! Our family enjoyed our visit very much, we had the lunch and wine tour package. The food was really very good, it was around 4-5 courses and we were already stuffed. For the price, it was very worth it. Unlimited wine tasting but by the 4th glass we were all quite red already. Loved their wine so much we shipped 24 bottles home 🤭

One word of caution is that the roads up to the winery is very winding and narrow (and 2-way!) requires some good driving skills to navigate!
