We were fortunate that our relative recommended this restaurant and glad they did. FYI: be sure to make a reservation.
We ordered a full course lunch since it was our honeymoon after a busy day prior. We ordered Negroni and Aperol spritz which was good. Our meatballs and fish croquettes were good. We ordered some pastas. The amatriciana was really good. The orecchiette had some smoked cheese which is ok if you like that. We a great wine with our meal as well. As you can tell, everything is "good" lol so I highly recommend this place.
The place overall had a cool, chill vibe to it.

Hidden gem in Campo de Fiori. The service was excellent, the wines selection was strong and the food was quintessential tasty Italian cuisine. The spaghetti was perfectly al dente and the tiramisu had a unique spin with chocolate cookie of some sort mixed in.

Great restaurant in a lovely little square. We had the meatballs a pasta and some fried zucchini. It was all flavoursome and the service was perfect.

Came here bc of a recommendation from our guide. Cute and cozy restaurant with very friendly staff, and delicious takes on local cuisine. The meal was absolutely delicious. An app and a first OR second is enough. The portions are on the larger side. Make sure to save room for their special dessert, zabaione semi freddo. It’s delicious!!!

Wonderful Italian food, mainly attended by locals. Had a great Cacio a Pepi pasta, and fried artichokes.

In my last night in Rome in 2015 I went with two friends and had a wonderful meal. The daughter of one my friends recommended the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Antipasti of roasted vegetables, a great bottle of wine, and steak with pepper corns made they way I asked. Buono.

A small place full of surprises. My husband hasn’t had fantastic carbonara for 12 years since he finished studying abroad in Rome. He said he finally found it again at this place. People complain about the service. I would say the service is average of what you would expect in Italy. It’s just different culture but definitely shouldn’t be the reason stopping you from trying this place. We loved it enough to go again for our last meal in Italy. Beautiful ending for our honeymoon trip.

*update*. Our second visit was even better. We love our waiter. He is fun and makes good suggestions. He even brought us a secret home made spicy oil to go with the bone marrow. He told us that was his favorite. I don’t understand the people complain about the service takes too long. It’s just a different system in Italy and all I see is people work really hard to serve all the tables. Loved loved loved the Amatriciana. The Parmesan eggplant is so good and unique!!! Nothing like the Parmesan eggplant you have ever had. The bone marrow, I don’t even have words to describe how delicious it is. This place deserves a way higher rating. Don’t let the negative reviews bother you. If you are looking for local hidden gem not the Michelin star restaurant service, please try here!!!

Had the cod croquettes, pasta carbonara and saltimbocca meatballs (never had them in a meatball form). Everything was delicious and the service was super friendly. Love the decor as well!

In the city center but located in a very quiet place. Good price for the quality of the food. Amazing service and amazing food! Perfect choice to have a wonderful dinner. You probably should make a reservation, but sometimes you get lucky (like me!)

One of my favorite restaurants in all of Rome. I always come here to eat whenever I am in Rome for a hearty, traditional Roman meal. I have eaten many fine meals here, from spaghetti carbonara to grilled steak. They also give you tasty bread to go alongside your meal. Desserts are also decadent, my favorites being their raspberry crostata and their creme brûlée. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem when in Rome!!! Service is also outstanding as well!

Our Italian friends took us here. They described it as classic Roman food but with modern twists...and it was incredible.

Magnificent. Last night three of us enjoyed one of our best restaurant experiences that we can remember. It started with a lovely table just perfect for us. It was charming and rustic with very nicely lit. I like the way the utensils were propped up on these little piece of brass that had the restaurants name imprinted on them.

From the beginning of our visit what really stood out was the staff. All of them were very friendly. Our server was Matisse assisted by Mary Antoinnette. Thank you for making our first dinner in Rome so very memorable.

We ordered three pasta dishes, all of which were recommended by Matisse. I asked Matisse to pair a red with the pasta and it was terrific. The pasta was just lovely. I would go so far as to say I can’t remember having better pasta.

Also, I like the water they served us.

There was an outdoor patio, but we ate indoors, which I quite liked. We had spent the entire day travelling to and then walking around Rome, so I had enough of the outdoors.

We went to this hidden gem by a recommendation from a local. We had some of the best pasta we ever ate and finished off the meal with zabaione, a local dessert which blew our minds. The service is impeccable and the restaurant has a quaint and charming vibe.
