It’s my 8th day in Italy & I would say this is one of the nicest restaurants I’ve been to! There was a line before it opened at 1215. We arrived around 1150am & were first in line. The burrata & artichoke were rly good. My friends loved the anchovy salad though the fish taste was too strong for me. The tiramisu & strawberry custard dessert were life changing. Food is served fast too. Highly recommended!

Authentically Roman cuisine served up by a staff of lovely individuals. I came for lunch on a Wednesday 15 mins after they opened and all tables outside were already full. I happily took my seat inside knowing I was in for a fantastic meal. I started with the artichoke which was cooked to perfection, slightly charred and salted, it was the best artichoke I’ve tasted in Rome (and I’ve had several). Next up was the meatballs, let me just tell you that you’ll want to bottle up the sauce it is served in and drink it. It’s that scrumptious! 11/10 on all aspects!
Highly recommend!!

On exploring Roma, we discovered this little place near the truth wall.. we waited in line for about 20mins, the guy was bring drinks out to people in the line, while waiting.
Yum yum.
Love it all
We enjoyed the meatballs. Zucchini flower and artichokes… the pasta was cooked just right :)
You can buy hats/aprons.

One of the best Italian we have had in Italy this trip.

Lots of people were lining up when we left

The food here is amazing. The salad Puntarelle made with chicory greens and anchovies is one of the best salad I ever had.
The house wine is really great. I don’t think one needs anything more.
I normally avoid bread because I tend to have mild issues with gluten, however, their sourdough bread is great and I had no issues whatsoever. The olive oil with the bread is awesome.
They also have a starter which is fried artichoke, it is delicious.
I would also highly recommend their limoncello. All in all a great place. The food is truly great and the ambience is wonderful.
One does have a line in front of the restaurant but it moves fairly quickly.
Prices are quite reasonable I think.

Hands down: this was the best cacio e pepe I ever had. Simply amazing. The other dishes, however, were also really good but not that outstanding as the C&P. The carbonara was nice with a rich and thick sauce and crispy bacon. For starters we enjoyed the bread and fresh ricotta. Combined with the honey, it was delicious. The wine was good - I recommend not to try to discuss or study the wine list, just go for the house wine. What else can I say? Waiting in line is absolutely worth it! And: Even when it’s hectic and crowded, the staff stayed absolutely friendly and calm. Will definitely come back!

DaEnzo Tavern in Trastevere is an absolute culinary delight!
The authenticity of their Roman cooking is unparalleled.
From the moment you step in, the ambiance feels warm and welcoming.
The flavors of their dishes transport you to the heart of Italy.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience.
Just a heads up, they don’t take reservations, so it’s first come, first served.
Expect a line, but trust me, the wait is worth every bite!
A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Roman cuisine in a charming, bustling setting.
Can’t wait to return!

Carbonara was delicious. You have to try it. It tastes good and you can sense and feel that the ingredients are high quality. Definitely recommend. As for tiramisu, not so good. The creme part was too light and cake was completely dry. The crema could have been tolerated but cake part of the tiramisu was terrible. To conclude, definitely try carbonara but eat desert somewhere else

This was the 2nd time we came here and it was just as amazing as the previous year. The burrata is hands down the greatest I've ever had. The marscapone is fresh and delicious. Only thing is you must get there 30 minutes before they open. The line will ballon if you arrive at opening.

This place was recommended to us. They don’t take reservations so you must arrive early. The first time we went, we thought the line was big, but were willing to wait - but then we realized that was only one part of the line, and the line actually continued on the other wall, way down the street!! So we came back another day - this time we came back 1 hour early, and still managed to have a big line! When they opened the restaurant, they took about 50 people, so we had to wait a total of 1.5 hours until the first people started finishing up their meals and leaving. Anyway, we had some aperol spritz while waiting in line and it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Plus the food was totally worth it. It was the best meal we had in Rome!

You have to arrive early before they open to queue. The line gets very long very quickly but the food is definitely worth the wait.
As soon as we were seated, we were served quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious so do visit this restaurant.

Just excellent restaurant! My wife's most favorite during our Italy trip. Long line queue for dinner time ~8PM. Took us about 1 hour to get in, but you can grab a beer or spritz to go from the nearby dive bar to ease the pain. Seemed to be primarily tourists here.
We stuck to pasta and didn't get any secondi meat dishes. Amatriciana was our favorite, followed by the carbonara and cacio e pepe.
Overall if you are not in a rush and don't mind waiting, can't go wrong with Enzo. There are plenty of good restaurants in Rome so if line waiting bothers you, its not a must stop spot.

We arrived 20 minutes before openning time. We were seated immediately when it opened. The service is very fast. We especially loved the burrata. Everything was delicious and fresh . Tiramisu was really good. If I go to Rome again, I will visit here again.

What an amazing first meal in Rome. I got on line a little after 6:30 and waited about 40 minutes. They brought us wine in line which was great and I made new friends in line while waiting that I ended up eating with. The Burrata and Amatriciana were delicious.

Best restaurant in Rome by far!
We’ve spent 5 days in Rome and visited dozens restaurants in the city. This was by far the best one!
The Burrata Di Andria, Rigatoni Carbonara, Tiramisu and Wild Cherries Mascarpone are highly recommended!
Will come again and again!
Thank you Enzo!

The most amazing food we had in Rome. Definitely some of the best pasta dishes from our two weeks in Italy. We had the oxtail rigatoni and carbonara, both were super delicious. We went at lunch on a weekday and there was a queue, but the queue moved pretty fast, also this place is 1000% worth the wait.

Today, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Da Eruzo, a charming restaurant nestled among the cobblestone streets of Rome.

For the appetizer, we started with burrata, which was a heavenly delight. The creamy cheese paired perfectly with the fresh tomatoes and the drizzle of well-balanced olive oil elevated the flavors to another level. It was a simple yet exquisite beginning to our meal with the house wine.

The antipasto tortellini with ricotta filling was a revelation with creamy ricotta, beautifully. When it came to the secondi, I opted for the meatballs with tomato sauce, which were succulent and full of Italian flavors, but they could have a higher potential.

It's worth noting that when we arrived at noon, there was already a line forming outside Da Eruzo. Waiting for about 15 minutes to be seated was absolutely worth it.

The ambiance at Da Eruzo was quintessentially Italian, with its cozy, rustic decor and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The combination of delicious food and the charming Roman atmosphere made this dining experience truly memorable.

In conclusion, Da Eruzo is a must-visit for anyone exploring the area. I look forward to returning to Da Eruzo on my next visit to Rome.

Amazing last night here in Rome. We started with fried artichoke and a bottle of Petit Verdot. Then we had carbonara and tiramisu plus the marscapone with strawberries and lemoncello- which was all outstanding. They spoke English and service was fast, but it still seemed to be an authentic locals spot. Would highly recommend, but arrive at least 30 minutes before you want to eat. There is a line even if you arrive at 6:30-they open at 7.

Can be quite a line here for a table. About 12 tables for 2 inside and about the same outside. No reservations taken. We waited 20 minutes at lunch time . Worth the wait as quality and taste we excellent. But I don’t think we’d wait an hour at dinner time as there so many restaurants to choose from in this city. We shared Fiore de Zucca, and for mains, we had Cacio e pepe, and a Carbonara. The Carbonara was very cheesy and had ample sauce. As hoped for, the Cacio was quite peppery. Dessert, Tiramisu and espresso.
Toilet…one; toilet seat…zero. Close quarters but clean as the toilet runs continually to avoid those patrons who seem to be everywhere but don’t know how to flush a toilet.
Very friendly staff here, and the fun of a bustling restaurant. You can also purchase hats and aprons inside.
